Tarik Cohen got 99 carries last year to Jordan Howard's 250. The split figures to change a bit since Cohen is incumbent and Howard is gone. So let's call it 125/225. Mike Davis got 112 carries in a 3-way rotation in Seattle last year. There's nearly no doubt at all he can carry more of the load. Additionally, for the coaching staff to dump Howard and pick up Davis, they had to feel pretty comfortable about his fit in the system and his ability to replace Howard for the most part. If there are roughly 225 carries to spread around, then Davis figures to get north of 150 of those carries. I'd guess 175-ish. Which leaves 50 carries or so. That doesn't sound like a b…

Bears need to fire Tucker and DeCammilis. Okay, I haven't said that about Tucker all year but about 4 weeks ago I started saying it. Special teams is easily said. Its freakin awful. Defensively, yes there were injuries, but lets look past that because Tucker had time to adjust and had continuity (albeit replacement players) and this team has been nothing but out-schemed, out of position, poor tackling, poor angles, all year. That is very very very much on our coaching and heads need to roll for it. Trestman doesn't know defense...I get it...we learned our lesson with Lovie or I hope we did and we need to stop freakin around and pay big money to someone who can come…

Call me crazy, but I'm pretty optimistic after this game. 1. The LB's today were outstanding. Briggs and Urlacher were great, and Tinoisamoa was flying around, too. 2. It seems like Cutler and Martz really do get along. 3. The secondary played pretty well for the opportunities given. Sure, Stafford missed the 2nd half, but they had double-digits yards at halftime, too. 4. Forte looks very quick, even faster then he did in 2008. 5. The OL wasn't good and the WR's either had drops or ran the wrong routes, but I expect the OL to suck, and the WR's will improve. It was game #1. Obviously they have to limit the TO's.

Some people are just capable of doing something amazing in their lives. Some run, sing, play the piano, etc. Idiot savant stuff. Tillman has been able to strip a ball since, I suspect, birth. I can picture it now... His big brother comes up, grabs a toy from Tillman. P-Nut calmly tracks his brother down from behind, and rips the ball clean.

I keep seeing mocks and discussion that list OJ Howard as a possible pick. I just can't see it. In fact, it borderline pisses me off. As far as I'm aware, #3 would be the highest drafted TE ever. On top of that, many are saying this is the deepest TE class ever. A top-5 pick on OJ Howard makes so little sense it's baffling. So please, anyone, convince me why it's remotely a smart idea.

I went up 10 spots and down 10 to decide who to pick to give a value specify draft. 3rd. 88 Cris lindstrom/ OG/ BC I think he will replace Long in our starting lineup either during to injury or next year when we cut Long. 4th 114. Devin Singletary/RB/ Flor Atlantic. He is quick and very capable of becoming a Hunt type of back. 5th 138. Nasir Adderley S/ Delaware. The kid can play , looked great in the senior bowl. i was watching pros vs joes today and did you guys know Bob Sapp (MMA fighter) was a 3rd round draft pick of the bears in 97, im kinda tired so i dont feel like looking up any stats but did he play at all for the bears, or any team for that matter, and was he as big as he is now a days???

I don't know how much Cap the Bears have left, but I assume it's enough to make a push for Peterson. The way I figure it, why not? He doesn't seem to be getting the interest expected, which means the cost will be lower than anticipated. He's a perfect "complimentary" back, which sounds ridiculous to say. Truth is, the Bears should be running way more than passing this year, so it makes sense to create a two-headed monster in Howard and Peterson. The added benefit is it obviously extends the usefulness of each RB because the lessened burden. And the cherry on top? Adrian Peterson would get to shove it to his former team who didn't want to keep him around. …

Sidney Jones CB Wash, was considered a first round CB, tore his Achilles at his pro day. This cost him a lot of money and the 2017 season. I would think he makes it to Round 3 and possibly RD4. Would love to stash him while they see what Prince and Fuller have on one year deals. He would be like a 2018 1st RD pick. This draft seems realistic to me as far as the Bears view players and needs. 2-Johnson/DE/Georgia Tech 3-Beckwith/LB/LSU 4-Barden/WR/Cal Poly 5a-Turner/WR/USC 5b-Hamlin/FS/Clem 6-Brewster/OT/Ball State 7a-Fletcher/CB/Iowa 7b-McCall/FB/Ala They view defense a priority, they think they can get DBs in later rounds, and draft a couple of WRs.
