Are you a diehard Chicago Bears fan? If so, you've found the spot to discuss all things Chicago Bears. Discuss the Monster of the Midway right here as the Bears look to get back on track in 2024 and take the North and never give it back! Flaming is not allowed and all such posts will be deleted. Try to keep it clean and most importantly BEAR DOWN! #BEARS #CHICAGOBEARS #BEARDOWN

Two assumptions: 1) If the Bears lose to SF (I expect they will), they will have lost H2H vs Jacksonville and SF. That puts the Bears squarely in the #2 spot if I'm not mistaken. 2) The Browns have to take a QB. They've started 5 guys there, and even their version of Slash (Pryor) has a handful of passes. It's a mess and they need a QB. RD 1 - Myles Garrett, DE, TXA&M - Solidifies the only weak spot in the front 7. Elevates this D one more huge notch. With no injuries, that's a top 5 D in 2017. RD 2 - Deshaun Watson, QB, Clemson - By all accounts he has slipped out of the first round. I'm sure it's a mixed bag here. I think he'd be a great catch in t…

If most of you have heard the tirade by now that the Bears WR coach Darryl Drake had with reporters at camp yesterday, here is an update. Most of his venom was directed to Rick Morrissey of the CHGO Sun Times who was asking him direct questions about the situation with Knox. In his tirade he told Morrissey that he would read Martz's comments on his own and would come back and make a comment about them and then sped away in a golf cart. Well it turns out he was a man of his word and gave Morissey some info that he could post in an article on the Sun Times website(I admit I'm not computer savy enough to post a link so guys please help me out ).The good thing is that Morri…

2013 Schedule HOME GB, MIN, DET, DAL, NYG, BAL, CIN, NO AWAY GB, MIN, DET, PHI, WAS, CLE, PIT, STL To me this seems like an incredibly tough schedule. The NFC East and AFC North are both tough divisions top to bottom.

Here is a good article on fixing that weakness. https://sportsmockery.com/2018/05/five-ways-chicago-can-fix-their-edge-rusher-problem/ I do not think we are in as bad as shape as it may look. We finished 7th in the league last year with Floyd hurt most of the year. McPhee beat up, Young on the DL. We have more production coming from Floyd this year.10-12 ? Aaron Lynch will make some kind of contribution 4-6? Kwiat is going to backup outside and I see him contributing 3-4. R. Smith will be figured in the pass rushing aspect 3-4. Patrick Willis first year with Fangio stats. 174 tks and 4 sacks, he had a high of 6 sacks in his third ye…

I bitched when we dumped David Terrell because he was our #1 WR & we seemed to have no back-up plan. I don't remember how long it took, but it seemed like within the next week, we'd signed Moose. We obviously dumped DT knowing we'd get Moose or someone similar. So what's our plan now? Is it: a) Marty Booker: The most obvious choice, but who knows? Resign Berrian: Very possible. But why are we waiting on the announcement? c) The unknown: There's rumors Detroit wants to trade Shaun McDonald. There will be other WR's available also. Predictions????

  11. http://www.suntimes.com/sports/football/be...sman-19.article 6 reasons why the Bears' franchise is inept November 19, 2009 Even if Rex Grossman's dad is wrong, does that make the Bears right? Whether or not the Bears failed Rex Grossman or Rex Grossman failed the Bears, the point is still the same: the Bears haven't had a "franchise" quarterback since Sid Luckman. In fact, the Bears haven't even had an offense that ranks higher than 15th in the NFL in Jerry Angelo's nine seasons as general manager. They've been 26th or lower in seven of his first eight full seasons. Sorry, but that's a far bigger problem than Dan Grossman. The Tribune rushed to the B…

They are gonna face an extremely pissed off Offense. And man how bad are they? 12 points against detroit? and the TD was a bomb and mistackle to Berrian, needed a last second field goal at home? Yikes

  14. Cutler looked different on Saturday, I cant pinpoint but he had a different look in his eyes. He looked to be moving in the pocket better, a couple of times he made the smart move and ran with it instead of forcing a throw. On the play were he lowered his shoulder and tried to bull rush his way into the endzone it just looked like he was trying to make a statement. Preseason or not he was going all out. Did anyone else get the same feeling or was it the beer I was drinking???

  15. As per PFT. That means teams can stay far under the cap. Now I'm starting to get worried, especially when you consider: 1. We appear to be done adding offensive playmakers, essentially swapping Greg Olsen and Rashied Davis for Roy Williams & Sam Hurd. Not an upgrade. 2. Considering our d-line was mediocre, after letting Tommie go, I thought we'd add a quality guy to help Peppers. Instead we get Gholston. I have as many NFL sacks as he does. Seeing how we did nothing to improve Gaines Adams, I have no faith in Marinelli. Maybe Gholston will die and then we'll bring in a pro bowl DE. 3. Secondary--We let D Manning go, and we plan to replace him with Majo…

The Bengals had Derrick Harvey as "their guy" at No. 9 as of late this week, but have since changed to Sedrick Ellis, according to FOXSports' Jay Glazer. Maybe the Dewayne Robertson trade to Denver changed Cincinnati's mind. Of course, this is just more pre-draft chatter to take with a grain of salt. Glazer notes that the Bengals "also like (Illinois RB) Rashard Mendenhall."
