http://www.suntimes.com/sports/football/be...nsive-line.html ...The OL is OK. As a result, I have my very first avatar... Seriously WTF? These assholes better be lying. I get the continuity thing with getting another year to gell. I get the Martz thing and the schemes he ran. What I don't get is false start after false start, then a hold, then a whiff out of JaMarcus Webb. Our staff seems to get a boner for someone every few years for someone that doesn't belong on the field. Hopefully, it's just a smokescreen and I'm crying like a little baby for nothing. Of course that's what I said in 2011, 2010, 2009, 2008 and 2007. (look it up)

Noots’ Notes-Game 10: 37-3 Loss to Green Bay By Michael Nudo The Green Bay Packers (5-5) beat the Chicago Bears in every aspect of the game on Sunday afternoon at Lambeau Field. The loss forced a three-way tie atop the NFC North as the Vikings were beaten by Tampa Bay. Green Bay Grants their fans a Lambeau Lambasting (AP Photo/Morry Gash). OFFENSE Quarterback A hobbled Kyle Orton (13-26-133, Fumble), got the start for the Bears. His foot was heavily bandaged. It didn’t matter. One highlight was an excellent pass to Forte to defeat a blitz on third down in Packer territory. His lowlight was a fumbled shotgun snap that was scooped up by Jason Hun…

I knocked on the office door, and the old man answered. He was hunched over, with sunken eyes and brown skin that looked weathered. He wore a blue Members Only jacket, denim jeans and white Reebok sneakers. When he walked, his feet shuffled, reminding me of my 83-year-old grandmother making her way through her Florida assisted living community. The date was Feb. 15, 1999, and I was visiting a suburban Chicago office complex to meet Walter Payton, the Bears' Hall of Fame running back who had recently announced that he was suffering from primary sclerosing chonlangitis, a rare (and deadly) liver disease. I was assigned the piece by Sports Illustrated, whic…

We have a QUARTERBACK. Yes, it is hard to believe. We have upgraded our OL to protect this excellent MOBILE Quarterback. Forte average ypc will benefit immensely as teams will not be able to stack the "Box" Forte is an excellent receiver as well. Greg Olsen will be HUGE as a target for Cutler, Clark & K Davis will also contribute. Cutler's buddy E Bennett should have an excellent year. Cutler to Hester connection should be very exciting, Cutler can hit him on those deep routes. Then I read this from FootBallGuys.com: Then you add in our sleeper WR from the 7th Rd. This could be very interesting!!!!!!

Travis Jackson/QB was released, should we be interested? I think he also would become our top backup if we picked him up. Also Vonte Leach is said to be going to be released today. The top rated blocking FB in the league last year.

I couldn't believe he was with us that long. But he played 10 years with the Bears and averaged just over $1M per season with the Bears. Was a fantastic value player, missed a grand total of 6 games during that tenure and gave up an average of 3 sacks per year. He was getting older and wasn't the player he once was, but he did a good job in Chicago and wore the uniform with pride.

Today at his news conference Emery talked about he was comfortable with 6 players to take with his 14th pick. so here is my list, I think he has Donald- no brainer, but the best DT in the draft probably wont be there at 14-history tells us that HaHa and Pryor are two high rated Ss that fill a need Gilbert and I believe Fuller are the CBs that is on his list. I think Fuller instead of Dennard because he is closer of a Tillman like CB. And the last is C.J. Mosely-He is a high rated LB that I think Emery will consider taking with our 14th pick. I personally think we will trade back and get a couple of extra picks So my later in the draft list: …

Kyle Long and Sitton are too experienced to be making these mistakes. Not all mistakes in the first 3 games are on them but clearly there are numerous issues on the Oline that need to be corrected for this running game to take off. http://bearswire.usatoday.com/2016/09/29/f...gainst-cowboys/

Benson with over 100 yds. Ocho Cinco with over 100 yds. Bengals score on their 1st 5 possessions. Bears absolutely, positively got their asses handed to them in th 1st half. Hanie should be in soon as their is no point in sending Jay out there. This team will not make the playoffs. Peace

As per PFT. That means teams can stay far under the cap. Now I'm starting to get worried, especially when you consider: 1. We appear to be done adding offensive playmakers, essentially swapping Greg Olsen and Rashied Davis for Roy Williams & Sam Hurd. Not an upgrade. 2. Considering our d-line was mediocre, after letting Tommie go, I thought we'd add a quality guy to help Peppers. Instead we get Gholston. I have as many NFL sacks as he does. Seeing how we did nothing to improve Gaines Adams, I have no faith in Marinelli. Maybe Gholston will die and then we'll bring in a pro bowl DE. 3. Secondary--We let D Manning go, and we plan to replace him with Majo…

From Chicago Trib: Bears add offensive line help Vaughn McClure, 3:52 p.m. The Bears added some offensive line help Tuesday, trading a undisclosed 2009 draft pick to Tampa Bay for former Buccaneer starting guard Dan Buenning. To make room on the roster for Buenning, the Bears released fifth-round draft pick Zackary Bowman, a cornerback from Nebraska. Buenning (6-4, 320) started all 16 games at left guard for Tampa Bay in 2005 and he started seven of nine games in 2006 before being placed on the injured reserve with a knee injury. He was inactive for every game last season. Buenning was drafted in the fourth round out of Wisconsin in 2005. His …

Has there ever, EVER, been a HC more ignorantly stubborn, more ridiculously incompetent, more hilariously overmatched and bewildered by the ability to challenge via instant replay?! This guy constantly challenges the wrong plays, and looks baffled with that Zombie Lovie look when the call doesn't go his way. It' almost as if he's saying, "Yeah, I knew it, but I have these challenges so I may as well use them." And don't even get me started on the plays he DOESN'T challenge. It's time to put the pink paper into the printer so Lovie's pink slip is ready as soon as the season ends.

So George Whitfield, the QB coach, has said that he'd like to work with Cutler, going so far as to call him "arguably the most naturally gifted quarterback on the planet, maybe the most gifted since Elway." He thinks he could work with Cutler on mechanics and consistency and take his game to another level. For those of you who don't know Whitfield, he's Cam Newton's QB tutor right now, but don't judge him just by Newton. He also worked with Ben Roethlisberger during his suspension, and Roethlisberger came right back into the league playing some of his best football. Roethlisberger is a very similar player to Jay in a lot of ways - in the past he's tended to rely o…

Does anyone have a site or a listing of the old Bears legends? For instance, something like... Mike Singletary - MLB - Baylor - 6'2" 245lbs Mike Ditka - TE- Pitt - 6'2" 245lbs (I made up the ht and wt on those examples...)

As long as we have Bostic and SMC (and Fuller) out there to cover the TEs I think the D can do enough to keep the scoring within range of what our offense should do. And what our offense should do is run the football. This is not to say we should be favored…far from it but I still don't think this game is as big of slam dunk for the Patriots as what some might believe. Let's see they have lost to the Dolphins, beat the Vikings, Raiders, then lost to the Chiefs, and of late have beaten the Bengals (who were missing some key players), Bills and just barely beat the Jets after giving up 25pts to Geno Smith. We could lose big but we could just as likely be in this …
