With the Chargers in serious need of outside LB help, and the Bears in serious lack of pass rush ability from McClellin I'm curious how many here would consider trading SMC to the Chargers if they inquired? And if so what would you want in return? The Chargers have Melvin Ingram and Freeney out. Freeney is a stop gap on their roster so they could view SMC as a long term solution for them opposite Ingram. The Bears on Tuesday signed safety Sean Cattouse to the practice squad and terminated the practice squad contract of running back Harvey Unga. Cattouse, a Chicago native who attended Hubbard High School, entered the NFL in 2012 with the Chargers as an undrafted free agent from Cal, where he played with Bears safety Chris Conte. Cattouse was a three-time all-conference selection, playing in 49 games with 26 starts and recording 185 tackles, seven interceptions, 17 pass breakups, seven tackles for losses, two sacks and two fumble recoveries.

I was listening to the radio this morning. One of the guests, while discussing the game said something to the effect that there were things that need to be "cleaned up", "corrected", and "coached up". I'm sorry but I can't stand these three phrases anymore. Cleaned up means squat; if a player at this point in his career can't figure out what his game responsibilities are, then they can't be corrected and maybe, just maybe, the player sucks. Coached up to me signifies that there is some amazing exponential growth potential just sitting there. I guess what I am saying is these three overused comments make it sound like that some phenomenal change is sitting there …

I am really looking forward to this match up today. I respect Suh's physical ability but I comes across as a bully. Did the Bears draft Long in mind of playing the Lions twice a year. It would be great to see him locked one on one and kick is safe. I think Long 's strength and agility with is nastiness could end up with Suh taking cheap shots and being ejected because the bully boy won't have his own way.

Since he wants a trade, is this something the Bears should entertain?
