After this game the Bears schedule gets suddenly brutal. This is both a trap game and effectively a must win...Win this and you've gone 7-1 in the first half, and a 4-4 finish puts you in the playoffs almost guaranteed. Lose this, and Houston and San Francisco can make you a losing streak.

I don't have a clue what the game plan must have been but if my starting RB (Forte) has 18 yards on his first 2 carries and had 205 last season against the same team the last time we played them,why not call his number until they stop him that first drive was a thing of beauty with him scoring the TD to finish the drive. At the half he was averaging 6.4 yards a carry. So IMO those sacks in the first half are not 100% on the OL and Cutler, I put them on Tice. On the pick Cutler threw,it was a 1 man route and max-protect that allowed the defense to basically quadruple cover the one WR in the route Marshall. Who called that play.? Tice. The Chicago Bears signed receiver Raymond Radway to the practice squad on Tuesday. To make room for Radway, the Bears released receiver Joe Anderson from the practice squad. A standout at Abilene Christian University, Radway (6-foot-3, 198 pounds) was cut on Oct by the Cowboys.

Can our two biggest weapons reach 1000 yards? With nine games left Forte has 456 yards rushing.That means he is 564 yards short of 1000. So if we feed him the ball over the next nine games he has to gain at least 62 yards per game. Marshall on the other hand has 575 yards receiving, so he is 325 yards short of 1000. So Marshall has to gain 325 yards over the next nine games and average at least 36 yards per game.......do you think they both get to the 1000 yard mark?

Some hate him, some love him, I think he could be a late round steal. ESPN has a new article on him that might change minds.

One bye week and it seems like forever since I've made a game thread. And yet somehow, I'm sure Tillman still had a pick-6 in there.

Guys, I gotta say it. I love this team. I've been meaning to post this for a few weeks, but finally have the time. Our Offense continues to do what it needs to do in order to be successful. It is still learning Tice's system, as he is learning to be an offensive coordinator. Cutler is managing games very well and keeping enough drives alive for us to dominate in "Time of Possession". Sky is the limit for this unit if the OL holds up and key players stay off the IR. Special Teams is solid as usual. We have not experienced the spectacular, as we are accustomed to, but this unit rarely lets us down. Defense is the difference maker for this team. This …

I was talking to a friend today who thinks the Bears barely break the top 5, or fall just outside, in power rankings. He pointed to the schedule said every team the Bears have played, other than the Packers, is bad, and the Bears lost that game. Are they ahead of the following teams? Looking at a defense that is in double digit territory in turnovers and leading the league in points per game is what we like after 6 games and having an established #1 WR for the QB to throw to under duress. Having the deepest DL in the league after enetring the season with the age of the defense being questioned was not expected. On a couple of series during the Mon Nite game the DL was Wooten, Melton, Paea and McClellin.The play of the line didn't drop off when these not "old guys" were on the field. Our Defense has been good/great for awhile, the difference this year is Brandon Marshall and Alshon Jefferies. They have been helping us with first downs/time of possesion, which helps out the defense able to rest more. Boy did I hate the last 10 years when the offence kept getting 3 and outs and watching the defense get up off the bench like " Man can we get a little more rest"? Last night when Tillman got the pass interferance call in the endzone I thought, and still believe Urlacher tipped the ball and was shocked that lovie or the announcers did not notice this.
