  1. 1.Colt Mc Coy - His injury in the BCS Championship game has my eyebrow raised and is causing him to slip a little. 2.Jevan Snead- Early in the season he was clearly my number 1 but I question his decision making 3.Tony Pike -He has had an injury filled year and I'm concerned about his durability but when he plays he shows all the skills you like in a QB 4.Tim Tebow- This is more of a ranking for his career but once the workouts start and scouts start to dissect his mechanics his stock as aQB may start to drop and he may be looked at as an athlete. 5Dan LeFevour-I have watched quite a few of his games over the last few seasons and think he is the best MAC qb prospe…

Shane Ray DE/OLB Seeing Aldon Smith flourish in Fangio's D makes him a favoritefor this pick 2.Denzel Perryman ILB This could be the leader we need on defense. 3.Jamison Crowder WR/KR Grew tired of seeing the kneel down or the tackle before the 20 on kickoffs 4.Donovan Smith OT We need to have some young OL in place for future 6. Anthony Jefferson SS Lets try again! 7 Tyler Heincke QB This may be a fantasy. His height not ideal but he needs a good showing at the combine to be drafted.

I don't think they'll make the same move this year but they already have 3 they are touting. I'm figuring Easley will be the WTF moment since he is coming of injury but Emery is going for it his way because he knows at his age this may be his only chance to do this.

20 Desmond Trufant CB Washington I have a feeling he will be the BPA at 20 if both the top interior OL are gone. 50 Terron Armstead OT Arkansas Pine-Bluff Draft this guy and put him at LG and groom him for LT. 114 Akeem Spence DT Illinois You have Melton,Collins and Paea plus Okoye is a UFA and you just cut Toeina they need another body at this position. 146 Marcus Lattimore RB So. Carolina This is the yearly venture down injury road that the Bears take in the draft but injury issues aside, this is one of the best backs in the draft if healthy. I'm thinking with the right rehab and a year in an NFL camp he could maybe be productive like Willis McGah…

I'm just looking at some footage from the Cowboys game, and able to watch certain players rather than the ball on the second look. Gosh Leno is terrible. Just awful. I think if you had to find one player to blame the whole season on, he might make a good candidate. Of course it is more than one player, but Leno is probably the worst player at any position on our team. YUCK!

I'm sorry. My translation. Thank god they didn't draft anyone who will challenge my roster spot.

I haven't watched much of him in the two games he's started, but he seems to be holding up much better as a LT than he ever did as a RT. A lot of people in the media have been pointing out how good he's looked. Going up against one of the best pass rushing combos in the league today can't be easy. Perhaps the Bears have indeed found some value with their 7th round pick. Marquess Wilson also appears to be coming into his own a little bit as well, which is great to see. That's what this year is all about. Building up the players you think might have a future here.

The Bears reportedly converted $7mil of Charles Leno's salary this year into a signing bonus. That gives us an extra $5.3mil in cap space this year. We will have to wait and see what Pace does with this. The Whitehair extension has been rumored all offseason but we could have done that without this extra cap space. https://twitter.com/FieldYates/status/1164179053223567364

I know there are a lot of haters on Leno and he’s certainly had his struggles, but this makes the O-line worse going into the year. I don’t have confidence in Jenkins as your day 1 LT but there aren’t really any other options unless they sign Eric Fisher to a cheaper contract or something.

He's disappeared. I know the Bears exercised the 5th year option on him but, at this time, he's not playing anywhere close to that value ($13.2 million). My understanding is the Bears could simply cut him before the beginning of the league year and would not have to pay him. Is this correct? Peace

  13. This is not good. White has not looked very good in pre-season either. If neither of these 1st round picks work out for Pace, he's not going to last very long here. These aren't the kind of things you want to be hearing about the #9 pick in the draft. I appreciate Fangio's honesty, though. Hopefully it doesn't take him that long to get in shape and he can produce, despite the skepticism.

I'm still searching for OLB prospects thinking we'll be keeping this 3-4 defense under someone, possibly Fangio. Take a look at Lorenzo Carter against Notre Dame and tell me who you see. He doesn't have the sacks stats to go with a top 10 pick but neither did Floyd when we took him. It's hard to assess draft stock right now players like Carter, low production, in sacks not tackles, but high potential. He might be a good candidate if we trade back a few spots.

What a surprise. I was hoping the Bears picked this guy back when he was in the draft. I figured he would be a stud, But like most things he was complete failure.

With Frazier rumored to be on the hot seat, he would be a better candidate to run the Bears defense than Ryan.IMO He is familiar with the division and has run successful defenses in Minnesota in a 4-3. If he takes the heat for the Vikings drop off in play this year he will be in demand as a coordinator.
