I just want to say thanks to all of you posters here on this site...I love what you are saying and thinking about our beloved Bears. I just want to add this........are we making the best changes with what we are doing??? I think this team is now going in the right positive direction. Bush, Campbell, Marshall, Thomas, Weems for the offense to play with. Now I still see us drafting a OT/OG and WR this year to finish out this process. RD1-2 - D line and O line - either or, BPA RD 3 - WR - someone with serious potential. Big target. If the WR is in the 1st or 2nd, then OL/DL here RD 4- DB - We need depth RD 5 - LB - more depth RDs6 -7 - I really don't care...just BPA or whatever whim Emery has. We we really dont have much left to do other than signing A. Okoye and Forte. We can also still look at an OT in Bell or McNeil or a CB maybe still look at LB with Hawthorne and Lawson still out there. We can be a great fast defense if we signed one of those two. I would think about Lawson and his speed and drafting Irvin with his speed then you have a strong side with two guys at 4.4 speed covering the TE and rushing the QB. Has there been any movement on a long term deal with Forte? I'm listening to the conference call and they mentioned that Forte and his agent indicated they felt disrespected by the signing of Michael Bush. Are the Bears and Forte that far apart that we haven't seen a deal yet. Was the Bush signing to give the bears a good 1-2 punch or is it insurance should Forte's deal not get done and he holds out.
