What if the top three OT (Martin, Reiff, Kalil) and the top three WR (Blackmon, Floyd, Jeffery) are off the board when the Bears pick? Aside from being irritated that the Bears needlessly won the last game of the season and ruined their draft pick status, what are you thinking? BPA vs. need becomes a much more interesting question at that point. If this scenario happens, and we're all relatively upset, that could indicate that LBs are getting passed over and a few other nice prospects are falling. Not a bad option, IMO. However, I'd rather sign Bowe or Jackson, or trade for Marshall before I signed Johnson. Supposedly, he wants anywhere from $7-8m, which is a lot for a guy like him. I don't think he's playing with a full deck, and he is very inconsistent. (yes, I know Marshall is psycho and has inconsistent hands as well, but he has proved to be dominant with Cutler)

The Trib has a big story presumably in tomorrow's paper on former Bears LB Hunter Hillenmeyer.

Licht and Emery are the only two they are bringing in for 2nd interviews correct??? If so we should be hearing something very soon. Who would you rather have and who do you think will get the job?? For both questions you have to use Licht or Emery

It seems there are a few others besides me who felt he played well. Admittedly there wasn't a lot of competition coming out of last years draft but nonetheless there were far lower expectations of Conte in just his second year at FS and first year in the NFL. http://www.chicagobears.com/news/NewsStory.asp?story_id=8589
