I know someone did this awhile ago, but I just thought I'd check a few mocks around the internet and see their Bears projections for round 1. I've been checking out some mock drafts. I saw a couple where they had us taking OT from Boston College. At beginning of the season, I would of been all for it. The Bears really need interior help now. Olin has been a great Bear, but he costs us too many 1st downs with stupid penalties. I wouldn't draft an interior lineman in 1st round either. Give Webb a full off season and he will not be weak link on the passing downs. Frank may not be the sexy name the fans want, but he has done a he'll of a job. Don't see the need to draft an OT that high. If anything, we need not notch cb to replace Peanut in a couple yrs.

Which mock drafts are the most reliable? Whose opinion do you trust the most? (I'm getting excited for the draft............. if you can't tell)

I found a new draft simulator. I dunno if its good or realistic, but Ive enjoyed playing around with it. Of course, without Free Agency it can only mean so much. I know we posted some in other threads, but I thought it could use its own with how many we are going to do between now at April. Here is one I did with PFF's Mock Draft Simulator, just one trade down for a 3rd and a 5th. Still picked up Johnson (which is unlikely), but hey. Johnson is a no-brainer if there. Went for great value at #71 and got a great athlete to pair with Smith at LB. Moore becomes the defacto starting Slot WR. Domann is a hybrid LB-DB that can lineup almost anywhere on the defense. With so many sub packages, he would be perfect for big Nickel. Watson is the big WR we have needed, could play opposite of Mooney on the outside. Flott is 6'2" so h…

So while reading about Ray "dipshit" McDonalds departure from the team I started seeing commentary about the possibility of Jets DLman Mo Wilkerson being dangled as trade bait. So far the Jets have publicly said they intend to keep him but he's apparently in a contract year, holding out AND they just drafted Leonard Williams. Some of the concerns obviously are his demand for a big contract and that our team has other needs than just DL. But... Is Wilkerson impactful enough to make a difference to the new defense that Fangio is working to implement? This is the most excitement I've had aince the Super Bowl. I believe our defense will play better, because we will have more time of posession and hopefully less turnovers.

We've seen enough to know this team is a mid level stinker. The question remains as to what to do to right the ship. Here are some my thoughts. Organization: Starting at the top, Teddy needs to go.
