Wow. Apparently the Browns restructured Myles Garrett's contract, so if we traded for him, this would be our cap number for him: 2026 $9.1M 2027 $17M 2028 $21.3M 2029 $58M OR $5M dead cap to cut him 2030 $58M OR Nothing to cut him Those are three VERY affordable years for Myles Garrett, and a $5M out after that. This makes him very affordable for us. The only question is what will the Browns need in trade to eat all that cap. Very interesting.

Wow, what a crazy play. Suspended indefinitely. Rudolph is an idiot as well, but man, Garrett went way over the line with the helmet hit to the head.

Just a what if, but recently while watching combine results on NFL Network I heard analyst Mike Mayock say that Myron Rolle will probably go somewhere in the 4th or 5th round. He is a "Safety" and sounds as though he could cover the position perfectly as the Bears would need. Pair that with his Rhodes Scholar title and desire to become a brain surgeon then I think the Bears could definitely be onto something. The article below claims he posted a 4.4 40 time, played at Florida State and his last name is Rolle. What say you? http://bleacherreport.com/articles/350136-...e-be-drafted-in

Did anyone see the GB-ATL game on MNF? The announcers were gloating over how good Aaron Rodgers played, but no one said anything about the fact that he was throwing to wide open receivers and at times had 2 or 3 guys to choose from. That has nothing to do with Rodgers, he had the easy job. It was the scheme and play calls. You could tell that the routes played off each other to create artificial picks and rubs and cleared space in specific areas of the field. This was what every play basically looked like. Just watch the game highlights on NFL.com, Rodgers doesn't have to do anything. The scheme is working, putting the defense on their heels, and making them ov…

Looks like Nagy is back in KC as QB coach. Wonder if this is Reid doing him a favor. As I don’t see any team hiring him to work wit their QBs especially not young QBs that need to be developed. Either way, to go from HC to a position coach is quite a step down.

Nagy blasts Bears for SNF debacle: 'Have some personal pride' Alex Chippin Bears head coach Matt Nagy ripped his entire team Monday following Chicago's blowout loss to the Green Bay Packers on Sunday Night Football. "Every freaking coach on the staff, every player better wake up and start understanding where we're at," he told reporters, via Chris Emma of 670 The Score. "Have some personal pride. Have a freaking sense of urgency. Know where we're at. … Yesterday was flat-out embarrassing and our guys know it." https://www.msn.com/en-ca/sports/nfl/nagy-blasts-bears-for-snf-debacle-have-some-personal-pride/ar-BB1buMbv?pfr=1 ====…

I just watched this "press conference" and Nagy's body language is terrifying. If you saw this raccoon suffering in the road, you'd be a good guy and put it out of its misery. I know that the press conference was virtual, and without an audience to remind him he's being watched, he might have felt like he was on a phone call, and forget to control his body. So if not a guy cracking, at least an honest moment then. But this guy is so shifty, he keeps scratching his neck. His beard is getting longer. He keeps shifting his weight. His eyes are all over the place. He repeats "next man up" "focus on the positive" at one point he had to say "next coach up" in regards to th…

It's interesting to listen to Nagy as he'd coaching Trubisky. "It wasn’t a made-for-TV conversation. Nagy said he forgot he was wearing the mic about five minutes after he put it on and didn’t remember it was there until he was in his office after the Bears’ 24-10 victory. So it was a glimpse of how the most important relationship within the Bears organization functions behind the scenes." https://www.chicagotribune.com/sports/football/bears/ct-spt-bears-matt-nagy-mitch-trubisky-20181031-story.html

He needs to give it up. The offense scored 13 points yesterday and was gifted 6 by turnovers and great field position. They had one drive, the first one, which is usually scripted, in which it was all offense. Nothing has changed since last year nor since he arrived. The offense looks terrible when he is calling plays. Cole Kmet had 1 target and 1 reception for 0 yards. Graham had 0/0. Nothing has changed. Horsted and James have yet to hit the stat sheet this season. So in two games, TEs have accounted for 10 targets, 7 receptions and 53 yards. Why is Graham not being targeted in the RZ?

Surprised with this move. Wonder if it has anything to do with Adam and Leonard getting hurt in the last game.

Who are the Chiefs WRs? I'll give you some help because I needed it. http://www.chiefs.com/team/depth-chart.html Take note of the RBs too because while Kareem Hunt had a great year, if you watched him play you know he's not a great RB. In fact I like our tandem of Howard/Cohen far better. I don't see any Chiefs Oline players in the Pro Bowl either, not in the last few years. Eric Fisher at LT has often been called a bust although he improved recently. http://www.kansascity.com/sports/nfl/kansa...e190660859.html With those resources KC had the 5th ranked offense in the league in yds/gm and 6th in pts/gm. Of course they had Travis Kelce…

One former Cyclone (Rosenfels) trying to help another (Montgomery). https://twitter.com/i/status/1206968490567098368 If Nagy is serious about his "self scouting" then he'll realize he needs help in the running game. It could be the passing game is just his forte and that's fine but don't surround yourself with other passing game coaches (Helfrich). I see these two in Nagy's office over the summer scheming up new passing plays. Then the season comes along and they just call the same old running plays to mix in on occasion so they can say.. I called a running play now let's get back to passing.

Since Amos is going to get paid 6-8 mil a year, I don't see him back. He has played well but isn't a playmaker, so that should not be hard to replace. Bush is the obvious choice and may do well, but keep this name in mind. Clayton Geathers, 6.2 220 , had 87 tackles last year with 3 PDs and 1 forced fumble. He was drafted by Pagano in Indy and will not command a big contract.

Assuming the Bears don't trade down ( ), the recent FA pickups seem to have gleaned some light on the situation. Right now only a few possible positions make sense (in no particular order): 1. QB 2. DE 3. S 4. CB Quarterback With Glennon on board for the amount of money he got, there is no way the Bears spend a #3 pick a QB to ride the pine. Similarly, they wouldn't have paid Glennon that much, even if it does amount to a one year contract, to sit behind a rookie, first-rounder. Cornerback The money they just shelled out for Cooper and Amukamara means there is no way they are going for a CB with the forth pick. The contract given to Cooper indica…
