How long before this guy gets reps with the 1st team at RT? Mills by all accounts has not looked good so far while Leno has seemingly played well when he's gotten a shot at LT (when Bushrod had a day off Sat). I think this coaching staff is far from settled on who our top 5 Oline are and I'm not sure I'd move Long out to RT as everyone else wants to do. We have Montgomery (a career backup C) or Grasu (a rookie) in the middle and I'd much rather have either Center covered by Slauson/Long than Slauson/Ola/Groy/Ducasse. I saw someone point out that this could be a move that benefits both team and player. We have Terrell Smith who is a little stickier in man coverage than Stevenson, but less good at tackling around the LOS. Given the new defensive scheme is going to rely on man on the outside more often and our lack of depth at safety this could be a win win. I could see Stevenson playing the role Brisker has played for us and doing it well.

Suppose the Bears were one of the healthiest teams in the league instead of one of the most injured? What scenarios would have played out? What would the record be? The first thing I think of is Kevin White. If he didn't get injured again, would he have blossomed into a star WR this year? Would his ascendancy have led to Glennon performing better and keeping the job?

Seems odd that this site hasn’t acknowledged Urlacher being a finalist in HOF voting. Maybe he’d like to be HC?

So I was checking out the depth chart and stumbled upon WR Chris Williams...I thought to myself who??? ROBERTSON DEAL ISN'T HAPPENING For the second time since Friday, a deal that the Bengals thought they'd make to upgrade a subpar defense has fallen apart. Alex Marvez of FOXSports.com reports that the trade between the Jets and the Bengals for New York defensive tackle Dewayne Robertson is off. The sticking point was Cincy's insistence that Robertson re-do a contract that is set to pay him $9.8 million in 2008.
