  1. Started by Alaskan Grizzly,

I am a fan of the highlight reel. Found one on You tube that is pretty decent. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uF_Z3IMwevM I know the Lovie detractors will point out the middle segment, which coincidently is where the season soured (in the middle). But I will counter with those same people who claimed that Lovie had "lost the team/locker room" with the segment of video at the end. Especially the section with the second Viking's game. Looks to me like a lot of players really wanting to win and pretty happy when they eventually did. Another positive to take away from this video. Besides all the the good things that occured over the WHOLE season (many I eve…

He played 13 games for Houston this year. I would think we should at least get a 4th or 5th rounder. Thoughts? Peace

  9. I've been watching, anybody else? Walter should be #1. Misssed one game, hardley ever ran out of bounse, kept in on third and long because he could run, pass, block, catch, not like some rb that could only run. He could punt, return kickoffs, played in 2 shorten seasons (could of had more yards). Was the clasiest player on and off the field. Saved thousands of peoples lives by his death(thousands became organ donars because of what he went thru) What else? He was already voted best #34 in nfl history.

It was reported that the St. Louis Rams FS Oshiomogho Atogwe (shoulder, hernia) had reconstructive shoulder surgery following the season and is also fighting a sports hernia, so maybe this was the reason we did not go after him.

The Bears are one of eight teams eligible to be forced to be on Hard Knocks. So if no team wants it, HBO/NFL gets to choose one of those eight teams. That would easily be the Bears. Aside from the fact we are the biggest single team market. Angles include Jared Allen, The Black Unicorn, Cutler/Kirsten Cavalleri, Peanut . . . that would be huge. I know the Bears would hate it and management would so no. But I'd love it. I'm currently not an HBO subscriber but I'd sign up to see that.

Just read on NFL.com what we all suspected, and hoped for, that the Bears are going to change Hester's role in the offense and he will be basically a #4 WR to come in on certain situations, packages. Here is a link to the article: http://www.nfl.com/news/story/09000d5d828c..._headline_stack

Quick look at Bears-Packers Dan Pompei's look: The last time the Packers played the Bears, it marked the low point of the Bears' season. The Bears struggled against the run and the pass, and the Packers had success in all phases of their game in a 37-3 victory. Since then, the Packers have lost three straight and basically played themselves out of playoff contention. They are a beaten-up team, having lost right tackle Mark Tauscher, middle linebacker Nick Barnett, defensive tackle Cullen Jenkins, safety Atari Bigby and others to injury. The Bears still could have problems with the Packers' explosive offense, but they should be able to capitalize on the Packers' def…
