Tommie Harris being interviewed after first day of practice with Colts. Says good things about Lovie and Coach Marinelli....hmmm another NFL'er liking his coaches. Say it ain't so. Take care Tommie and good luck. http://www.colts.com/sub.cfm?page=video&am...91-4d70a92b4825

There was an article on CSNChicago.com about the Bears that I found interesting. It gave team stats in some offensive and defensive areas for the Bears compared to teams which made the playoffs this year. I was actually surprised by the info provided and encouraged in that if we could rank that favorably with the 2016 playoff teams with 19 players on IR, what could we accomplish in 2017 with a healthy roster and key additions made this opffseason in FA and the draft? It is a long offseason.

https://profootballtalk.nbcsports.com/2021/01/19/salary-cap-could-be-in-the-range-of-180-million/ So it looks like the cap might be around $180M for 2021. That would be $4-5M more than the bottom, which would surely help out the Bears situation. It is crazy to think there will be teams over $30M in the hole. The Saints are $95M over the cap. Even if the cap didn't drop for 2021, they would still be $70M over the cap. Talk about some mismanagement. They may have to become serious trade partners instead of cutting and relying on dead money. Brees would cost $22M in dead money if he retires. The Eagles are $51M over, Falcons are $32M over, and the Packers and…

http://espn.go.com/nfl/story/_/id/7677375/...lions-cap-space If this is accurate and the Redskins are penalized with the removal of 36 million in cap space. I don't see how they can sign Jackson. Granted they can split this penalty into two seasons, but I don't see the benefit of backloading this penalty with so much lost with RGIII trade. This will give new found leverage to the bears in signing jackson. If he wants to win and make good money the bears are a logical fit. If he wants to be a rich loser then he should just sign in Tampa.

When I saw that Slausson used to play center I immediately craved him playing there over Garza. An interior line of Long-Slausson-Brown should be very, very solid if that's what ends up happening. When Slausson signed he said the Bears offered him the best plan for the future(or something along those lines) which was an odd statement coming from a guy who signed a 1 year contract. I'm really hoping he gets signed long term and we can see that Long-Slausson-Brown combo for years to come.

Urlacher is in rare form. Looked like 06. 3. I know he gets alot of love but Zach Bowman sucks. 4. The fumbles are pathetic. Forte i have three words.... What the F? olsen must be a total pussy. Talking w/ a fellow bear fan, and he brought up Michael Johnson. At one time, we seemed to be tied to MJ w/ our top pick. Since then we traded away our pick, but also, MJ seems to have slip. I told him I do not think he will slide all the way to our pick, but his arrow does seem to be pointing down as Kiper, McShay and Mayock all have him falling past us. Anyway, what are ya'lls thoughts. Top two knocks on him appear to be that he is still a bit raw and he may never be great against the run. At the same time, he would appear to be an ideal fit for us. We have a scheme that places speed above run stoppers. We have one of the top DL coaches in the league. Oh …

Surprised he just got another 1yr deal worth $4mil with $2.5 guaranteed. Back with his old HC too. https://www.usatoday.com/story/sports/nfl/cowboys/2020/03/19/dallas-cowboys-ha-ha-clinton-dix-sign-nfl-free-agency/2882362001/

Sounds like the D line gained some insight. "Stephen Paea coming out & saying he's learned more in 3 weeks than his whole NFL career should speak volumes about this new coaching staff" Also seen Brock Vereen got first team reps at FS and looked good. Conte better be paying attention.

  14. 1.Jeff Fisher 2.Sean Payton 3.Mike Singletary 4.Les Frasier 5. Ron Rivera 6. Jim Harbaugh Wow 2 for Ditka and 4 for Buddy Ryan and add his 2 son with one being a HC and the other being a DC and you can see the league is being influenced by "Da Bears"

http://www.chicagobears.com/news/article-1...69-d272cd976d1d Still nothing clear about White's situation since we know they brought in a few WR for tryouts this past week. Hurst being activated seems more like coverage for Callahan's injury this week.

http://my.chicagotribune.com/#section/-1/a...e/p2p-77654374/ Not to read into it too much but knowing how Marshall does have a tendancy to be "mercurial" and appears to be unsatisfied with his recent production... Might be worth taking note. Take into account that just a few weeks ago he was interviewed and said that he didn't want for Jay to throw to him if he were double or triple covered and that there were other options available on the team if need. And....we know his back (?) has been bothering him for some time now.

According to Nagy, we're in a "good spot at LG" with Kush and Daniels but we just signed a guy who played for two years in KC but has otherwise bounced around the league. Roster moves: The Bears on Monday officially placed outside linebacker Sam Acho on injured reserve and signed offensive lineman Bryan Witzmann.

Anyone listen to the press conference this morning? It was basically 88 minutes of nothing. We do know, however, that Ted "totally get's it" and George is spending his days replying to hate mail. Some days I absolutely hate being a fan of this team. Today is one of those days. Peace
