Big and fast: Louis is also a versatile and athletic young prospect. The 6-2, 303-pounder played tight end his first two seasons at San Diego State before being moved to right guard in 2007 and right tackle in 2008. In San Diego for the NFL owners meetings, Angelo attended a workout the Bears had set up with Louis. “He ran a 4.75 at around 300 pounds,” Angelo said. “I’ve never seen a guy that big since (former NFL offensive lineman) Randall McDaniel run that fast, and when he ran that fast, he was about 275 pounds. “[Louis] has some special traits. We even threw passes out of the fullback position just to give him a look there. He’s a pretty good athlete, s…

He has been cleared to practice. Looks like Mr. White is not coming back this season. Peace

With the GB loss, Bears are guaranteed to go into Week 6 with 1st Place in the Division. Hilarious that Crosby missed 4 FG's and an XP (13 pts) and they only lost by 8.

Broncos released WR Javon Walker, according to ESPN's Michael Smith.

Is he our starting center next year? Groy filled in decently for Ola last week once he got the first series jitters out of the way. Looking at his background and knowing he played FB at one point for Wisconsin which means he has to have some athleticism. Garza just doesn't move his feet as well as he used to and I think we need to address the center position this offseason. Taylor Boggs hasn't cracked the lineup and with all the injuries we've had there were plenty of opportunities to do so. Groy gets a 3 game tryout. http://www.chicagotribune.com/sports/footb...1208-story.html

PLAYOFFS START SUNDAY!!!! Now we start our first payoff game at home with the Packers. I think we win this game for a few reasons. 1. We are at home 2. Its lose or go home 3. Cutler has a real reason to be motivated to win since the last NFC North Champ game we lost, also this is make or break for Cutler as far as contract goes. Hopefully he can pull a Flacco like last 4. Rodgers will be back.....but will be gun shy and rusty, Lacy is banged up, Matthews, Jolly are out and Briggs is back 5. Everyone is picking the Packers.....fueling the pissed off mentality the Bears should have to prove them wrong. One question....if we win and the Cowboys win …

There has been chatter the Bears could take Ridley in the top 10. While I still like him as a prospect what I saw tonight was a #2 WR in the NFL. There is no need to draft that skillset early in Rd 1. In Rd 2 maybe but I think he'll be gone by then. Even at that, there are other WR prospects who offer similar skillsets in the 2nd Rd. For me Rd 1 remains on target for OT or OLB.

He's fast and that was a speedy exit. Nagy says there was too much competition. I say for that much athletic talent to get cut this early he had to be lazy in meetings, study habits, or in the training room not rehabbing like he should. Or perhaps all 3. https://www.nbcsports.com/chicago/bears/practice-notes-another-fight-emanuel-hall-gets-cut-and-more-bears-first-practice-back-halas

It's just the first preseason game... We were vanilla... Had our two top offensive weapons out... Tommie didn't play... Saw a lot of things I liked... Gotta tackle better... The secondary is a concern... Jay's a gunslinger... I could've written this same postgame script after the first preseason game of all the Lovie Smith seasons. They always look like shit this early in camp. And he'll say "Of course" about 17 times in 10 minutes.

The Chicago Bears officially announced the signing of linebacker Brian Iwuh to a one-year contract on Monday, and the team also released tight end Kevin Brock.

With no pads, it's damn near impossible to grade the lines & defense since they went through the motions. Here's my thoughts on QB's, WR's, and the TE's: 1. The radio guys talked about the all great catches but the secondary was avoiding contact. If you hear the media say, "He made a dazzling one-handed grab" there was typically a safety boring down on the receiver. In live action there'd have been no catch. Our QB's completed like 50 consecutive passes. 2. DA was constantly targeted by Cutler. He made some nice catches where he had to adjust his body and he'd go up and get it. He looks like Andre the Giant next to our other WR's cause they're so short…

What do you think the chances are of our new GM being able to bring in and sign as FA D.Bowe (WR) and B.Carr (DB) from the Cheifs? That would be a good signing and would take careof two areas of need for our team.

WR Vincent Jackson - instantly becomes best threat in passing game, hurt alot and disappears Pierre Garcon - seems like a headcase.Isnt a #1 but certainly seems to think he is. Head and shoulders above our current scrubs Marques Colston - definitely available and becomes best threat in passing game, always hurt Stevie Johnson - I still think he wont sign or get tagged OL Levi Brown - 28, instant upgrade (not saying much tho) Ben Grubbs - 28, instantly best OG Carl Nicks - not interested for that cash (can anyone find the post where i kept saying just draft this guy cuz he was enormous) I think given the list above and…

It was actually hard to listen to that. You can just feel how much it means to him.

49ers paid Kapernick 100+ million. He is not living up to that contract....maybe Cutler and him can vacation together this off season Just thought this might cheer some of you up.

cant sleep, drunk, and bored so why not.... 1st Round: Jeff Otah OT ( really think about mendy or stewart here 2nd Round: Dre MOore DT Maryland 3rd Round: Tom Zbikowski Safety ND I hope he falls to the 3rd round, i doubt it but eh whatever.. 3rd Round: Jordy Nelson WR K State 4th Round: Franklin Dunbar OT Middle Tennessee St. 5th Round: DEnnis Dixon QB Oregon is he there in the 5th??

Tommie Harris being interviewed after first day of practice with Colts. Says good things about Lovie and Coach Marinelli....hmmm another NFL'er liking his coaches. Say it ain't so. Take care Tommie and good luck. http://www.colts.com/sub.cfm?page=video&am...91-4d70a92b4825
