Since Pace is going to go with the BPA, here is my list of players I would be happy with with draft value around that spot in the draft. Henderson/RB Sanders/RB Sternberger/TE Oliver/TE Howard/OT McGovern/OG Jordan/OG Miller/edge/Ala Walker/edge/Georgia Savage/S Hooker/S Johnson/CB/Ken Long/CB Obviously there are some higher ranked players that would be good, but I doubt if any of the top 50 would drop that far.

Mack. Two tackles, one fumble recovery, one QB hit, no sacks. All the hype of Mack getting revenge. Gruden must be smoking a big ol cigar on the flight back. And as many double, triple, and quad teams Mack gets every game, is it me or does he seem to fade in the fourth quarter?

Hats off to Eddie Royal! He is becoming a big part of this team this year. After last season I was ready to move on, but the way he has been performing, they are lucky to have him locked up. Royal and Z Miller are our TD mahines, Pace has a couple of gems here.

After posting in Jason's "Best Mock I can do thread" about CBs I figured I'd just summarize what I see of the top CBs after watching film on Draftbreakdown. I'm copying what I wrote about Hargreaves in that thread. Among the top 4 CBs in this draft I could live with any of them. I'm just not confident grabbing one at #11. We could drop back to #20 and grab whoever is left and be just as well off IMO. That's kind of the way this draft is after the top 10 picks. Hargreaves... Bears Banking on Another Tice Turnaround

As I was watching the highlights of Forte today on nfl.com, I couldn't help but notice that John Tait was great today. He had a great block sealing off a defender on his 13 yard TD run, and the key block that sprung it all loose on the 47 yard TD run. Props to John on his best game of the year (and props to the rest of the OL on a great game, as well).

This is going to be a fun and exciting season! I'm fired up for football and its only July!!!

I'll be watching and recording the Senior Bowl. In particular, evaluating the big uglies on the OL. One I really have an eye on is Quinn Meinerz from a small Wisconsin school. Nasty OG with personality.

Similar injury as what Freeman was lost for the year on. Brutal since they were are two starters...2 weeks into the season and the injuries really piling up (2nd consecutive year). Football is such a brutal sport.

He was an undrafted free agent that signed with the bears this year. I can't find any articles that show his age. Anyone know is age? Interesting prospect, 6-4 310 LG from Yale. Was an Olympic weightlifter from South Africa and started all 4 years at Yale. Also an all star rugby player. Watched some tape on him and every play he put someone on his back. He is addicted to watching film which should allow him to assimilate to the NFL quicker. He loves football, smart ( Yale degree) and hard worker. Sounds like player that could stick.

Sounds like Goldman might be out of shape or retiring or something, he didnt show for mandatory minicamp after sitting out the year last year. It doesnt sound like a contract dispute the way Nagy talked about it. People were very forgiving that he chose to sit out the season last year - I always thought it showed a lack of heart for the game and the team. Also, if he's pulling this crap, it would have been decent of him to give us a heads up before the draft. He is currently on my crap list.

I got his sneaking feeling Jerry is going to be up all nite watching that waiver wire and determining who stays and who goes. With Teams publishing thier cuts later tonite and Hiding em like Pitt, Ill bet JA has a Mongo cup of java and sitting at that puter.
