In order to enter Training Camp this year you will be required to go on the Bears web site and get "free" tickets. So many families have visited Training Camp to watch the team practice over decades without any problems and now in 2017 this team has decided that only computer friendly fans should have access to Training Camp that has no reserved seating for the average fans but, some groups have some of the few bleachers reserved be it sponsors or whoever. Forte has been a very good player for us but will be 29 during this football season. RBs start to hit the wall once they hit 1500 carries and Matt is at 1506, with 341 receptions. I think they start to take some of the carries away as they try to get two more years out from him and diversify the offense a little more in its second year. I dont think we go after anybody in FA, we will cut Bush(to much money). We have Ford, and will remain one of our backups but think we draft a compliment player to Forte. 1. They went after Willie Colon, i know it didnt work out but it at least shows that the Bears FO is trying to upgrade our Oline. Hopefully they contiune trying to sign someone else. 2. His offense just put up 47 against NE (with the best QB performance in playoff history) and 36 on KC in back-to-back weeks. Absolutely bonkers. If not for the stupid OT rule, the Bills win this game. To end the regular season after that snowmaggedeon game, the Bills offense scored 27, 31, 33, 29, and 27 going 4-1 in the process. If you include the postseason, that is 7 straight games with 27 or more points. The Bears hit 27 in 3 times the entire year.

He is a game changer. We need him out there!

The guy is an offensive guru in the college ranks and has a long history of calling plays. He called them in Tennessee for a couple of years with Vince Young there and while that might not have been a great fit for the offense Chow likes, I think Cutler would be a perfect fit for him. I'd be all for Chow, in fact, I'd like him more than any other candidate. Chow was the offensive mind behind the early USC offenses with Palmer/Leinart.

Not that there are games we don't need to win but with Minn getting lucky yet again are now 6-0 GB winning are 3-2. A win tonight puts us at 4-1 and keeps us a game behind Minny a loss drops us to 3-2 and puts us with the Packers at 2 games back Plus it's a conference game. We now get to see Cutler back under center for better or for worst. He will get us back on his bandwagon or cause much talk about McCown again. I hope he does well, we win out and make the playoffs. But: as the season goes we will probably win 2 of the next 3 and not make the playoffs. Lions have a better 3 games to deal with than we do. So for Christmas I would like us to win out(first choice) or lose out and get the best draft position we can grab. So what do you want for Christmas?

I've had an idea circling through my brain for a couple of years now, but really haven't had the balls to let it out until now. As we know, the NFL is ever evolving. It's current evolution is quarterback centric. It shows with wins and loses and also at the bank. Through this evolution, I'm seeing something new. The run game. The Bears are now 3-7, but the offense has put up 29+ pts in the last 4 weeks. How much of this is Getsy "unlocking" Fields and how much is it Fields just being superhuman? For as much as I have liked some of what I have seen so far, this is a historically bad passing attack that can't win games. Without literally magician level stuff from Fields, how bad would this offense look right now? How hard is it to scheme players open? The Lions defense was one of the worst in the league and the Bears mustered only 167 yards passing with 50 coming on one play to Kmet. Has anyone seen a quick slant yet?
