God damn, they suck at everything. I'll bet if given the chance they'd start an internet war against the wrong ISP, torture people's pages, freak up a DDOS attack so badly that the city of New Orleans would be struggling to login... Etc. etc. etc. Fire everyone. The Halas clan should sell the damn team so we can get someone at the top running things that understands how this is done. It wasn't until Dollar Bill died that the Blackhawks stepped it up under Rocky. Maybe we need Virginia to kick the bucket before this gets better? Oh, and GO BLUE!!!! Get your veto pen ready buddy, you're going to need it for two years! PS. If this thread is dele…

I know BEARSDABOMB, Butkus, and a few other posters have touched on this... But it looks painfully obvious that this Bears team under Smith (and Angelo) seem to rest on their laurels. THey are all going about saying they are better than what we saw, that they are vets, yadda yadda yadda. Bottom line, that was then, this is now...and this is now started last season. This D is bad. Not even medicore. Bad. Only Mike Brown seems man enough to admit to such.

Guys, I gotta say it. I love this team. I've been meaning to post this for a few weeks, but finally have the time. Our Offense continues to do what it needs to do in order to be successful. It is still learning Tice's system, as he is learning to be an offensive coordinator. Cutler is managing games very well and keeping enough drives alive for us to dominate in "Time of Possession". Sky is the limit for this unit if the OL holds up and key players stay off the IR. Special Teams is solid as usual. We have not experienced the spectacular, as we are accustomed to, but this unit rarely lets us down. Defense is the difference maker for this team. This …

1. Angelo's inability to do anything for this offense. 2. No franchise QB. 3. No play makers at WR. (Lloyd looks good as of right now) 4. Our TE's can't catch or hold onto balls. 5. Offensive coordinator who sucks. 6. Defense coordinator who sucks. 7. O-Line is put together like legos. 8. Drafted an injury prone tackle. 9. Not using Kevin Jones. 10. This front office sucks as a whole. They're trotting out the same shit year after year on offense. I'm sick of it.

ESPN Chicago's twitter. I don't have it set up or anything, but here it is w/ all "tweets" listed. Keep clicking on more when you get to the bottom of the page. Plenty of fluff and worthless tweets, but also a crap load of little gems, IMHO. For example, I have never seen d linemen pushed this hard in practice in my six years covering the team. 1:35 PM Aug 2nd from txt Physical afternoon. Chris williams flattens adams. Walle taken down on run play to his side. 2:45 PM Aug 2nd from txt Kevin Jones attacking defenders like they owe him money. KJ one of the top standouts so far in camp. 7:42 PM Aug 2nd from txt Full pads again today. I'm surp…

Our number one pick was asked if chasing chickens on the farm compares to chasing NFL quarterbacks. And his answer was"Well, you have to have agility to chase chickens," he said, "so I guess it's similar." I just hope he makes chickens out of Rodgers and Stafford and the rest of the QB'S we face this year. The man was chasing chickens......thats hard!!. But there is a high school team down in Florida that does their training by running after rabbits. Now you're ass has got to be fast to catch a rabbit!

Watching Sundays games is not helping. Young QBs having career games, WRs throwing up 150+, RBs scoring and hitting the century mark. To make it even worse, we only scored 3 freaking points...3. Gonna be the low turd after Monday. Next Sunday needs to get here fast to get this nasty taste out. Nagy has his work cut out to get this team up to speed. They owe us a game. The offense owes the D.

After reading posts about who we drafted and what our needs are/where brings a question to mind. Knowing our roster, free agents, draft choices and UDFA's; what our your thoughts for future needs? (This year and beyond...)

The Bears are tied for best record in the NFC and a half a game back over all. Yet, it feels like they are the 0-16 detriot lions from a couple years back, exceot feeling like next year will be the same coaches and front office. It just don't feel like leading the league and makes me sick looking forward to next year.

We play five playoff teams this year, (well four we play the Packers twice) and we stand a good chance of doing what we did in 2006 at 13-3. The way I see it we should only have the Jaguars,Colts,Eagles and the Packers as games we might lose, once we get this ship fixed Home Jacksonville Jaguars New Orleans Saints Philadelphia Eagles Tampa Bay Buccaneers Tennessee Titans Detroit Lions Green Bay Packers Minnesota Vikings 3 Dome teams …

I really like what the Bears did in the draft. We got some players that we needed and we won't have to break the bank for them. We got competion for so postions and starters for others. I really think that on opening day we will start on offense LT will be Williams LG will be ST.Clair C will be Kreutz RG will be either Garza or Adams RT will be Tait. TE will be Clark/Olsen/Davis WR will be Booker/Bradley/Bennet/Davis/Monk/Hester(Hass and Lloyd will get cut) QB will be Grossman with Orton/Hill as back ups FB McKie RB will be Benson if healthy starting he knows the system already, but Forte will be in the wings. They will be splitting carries like…

Last year LA had a high drafted QB, a good defense(ranked 12th) They added a high profile offensive mind in Sean McVay. They added John Sullivan and Andrew Whitworth on the Oline. They added Robert Woods,/WR in FA, and drafted Cooper Kupp/WR, Josh Reynolds/WR, Gerald Everett/TE in the draft. They had left over from a 4-12 season, Todd Gurley and Travon Austin. They added Sammy Watkins by trade and ended up being the the tenth ranked offense in the league last year. Goff had 3804 yards, 28 TDs, 7 ints. and rushed for 51 yards on on 28 carries. Gurley rushed for 1305 yards-13 tds. Receiving stats Todd Gurley 64-788-6 …

Come off the practice squad and play well in your first NFL game under the bright spotlights of MNF alongside a makeshift secondary that has never played together and you're going to get some attention. It's too early to say he's our starter opposite Johnson next year but he might earn it in the last few games. What will be most interesting is that he'll get to see the Vikings twice which is really lucky for him. For people like me who were wondering why we didn't see him sooner, he explains that himself: He wasn't playing well enough consistently. To his credit and the Bears he stuck around and worked on his craft. I look forward to watching him the next few game…

Poles could have easily protected him as he can protect 4 PS players. He chose not to. Despite my optimism this guy would turn into a good player for us, given what this staff has done with so many young players I have to trust their judgment. They saw quite a bit of him over the offseason so most likely he didn't fit within the culture of the HITS system. There is reason to believe that too because last year Graham said it was his fault he didn't make the 53 as he wasn't working hard enough. https://www.news5cleveland.com/sports/browns/cb-thomas-graham-jr-signed-to-the-cleveland-browns-from-the-chicago-bears Forgot to add that in his place the Bears signe…

http://www.nypost.com/p/sports/jets/jets_a...LPbOr7uPJ4GY3LI Pretty good article about how once again Thomas Jones is getting another raw deal. I would be more than OK if the Bears wanted to bring back Jones to finish out his career. He easily has another decent 3-4 years in him. They guy has only rushed for at least 1,000 yards the last 5 years (to include his last 2 for Chicago). Jones is one of those consummate professionals who I really never understood his being released from Chicago, especially since the Benson experiment never worked out.

Hanie, Jennings, Webb and JA. I cannot believe how pathetic this team looked in the second half. They packed it up and are ready for the off season. Hanie and Jennings should not play another down. Peace
