How does Tillman look then...I have to get a jersey, what a player!

This guys gets paid millions to be available on 16 days a year. If he is out one of those games because of something non-football related, I think he should be fined a game check. I know it sounds harsh, but he's being paid to play the game. He's not being paid to play it unless, ya know, he's got other stuff going on.

In an Article from the Chicago Sun-Times.com Tillman states that in the NFL offense sells tickets, but not our offense. Think that might tick off the Bears offense?

Just a total bummer. Urlacher had the better peak in the recent Bears era but Tillman was my favorite Bear of the last 10+ years and one of my favorite Bears all time. He was both a stud on the football field and a person who did a lot of good off the football field. For his season and potentially career to end this way stinks but I want to thank him for all of the fantastic memories and the fact that he represented our franchise so proudly both on and off the field. Thank you Peanut and Get Better!!!

I really think this is something the team should consider for next yr. I believe he could be an all pro safety and allow us to cut strings with Mike Brown. The only issue may be his salary as he is being paid as a corner. Thoughts? Peace

I remember when Tillman was "excused" from practices, and all that was reported was he had family issues. I think it later came out there was something going on w/ his daughter, but I personally do not recall ever reading the story. As a father, w/ a young daughter, reading this story really hit home. I swear it seems like Tillman has missed 1/2 of camp, and all that is said is "he was excused for personal reasons". Articles say no one is talking, and frankly, the papers are not making an issue of it, almost like they know what is up themselves, and are showing respect. This needed to be done. The past three games has been the best 3 game span a CB has had in Chicago since Donnell Woolford. His coverage has been fantastic and he has blown up a few screen plays here and there with his physicality. The dude keeps playing well, keeps putting in the effort, and I'm ecstatic about his performance this year. Against the Cowgirls he was the defensive player in tight coverage when Ogletree let the ball ricochet high in the air. The ball was gone before Jennings touched him, but I'm sure the coverage affected the play. Briggs' INT doesn't get returned for a TD if not for Jennings. He flew in to help out, giving just enough support for Briggs to waltz into the end zone. And on two of the three missed Cowboy bombs, it was either Conte or Wright who should have had coverage.
