Makes the bush pick up look real good!!! Emery for president!!! Lol

Highlights:

Heard on Waddle and Silvey that nobody is giving Philly a first round pick for Carson Wentz. Also, it's rumored that we are highly interested in Derek Carr.

It has crossed my mind that one of the top players that could go to the Bears will come from the University of Georgia. Does that concern anybody else since the Bears luck with players from there have not been the greatest. I liked Roquan, but he made some odd decisions. Floyd didn't really fit or flourish in any of our schemes. Wims and Ridley couldn't get on the field and when they did they liked throwing fists. Now when I think of Jalen Carter, a flag pops up and I wonder if he will be another Georgia Bulldog disappointment. If we trade down and Anderson is gone, I am starting to lean on moving down again.

From the Athletic, here is what Dane Brugler is projecting for the mid-2nd Round: 40. Houston Texans (from ARI) – Ross Blacklock, DT, TCU 41. Cleveland Browns – Jeremy Chinn, DS, Southern Illinois 42. Jacksonville Jaguars – Grant Delpit, DS, LSU 43. Chicago Bears (from LVR) – Lloyd Cushenberry, iOL, LSU 44. Indianapolis Colts – Michael Pittman, WR, USC 45. Tampa Bay Buccaneers – D’Andre Swift, RB, Georgia 46. Denver Broncos – Noah Igbinoghene, CB, Auburn 47. Atlanta Falcons – Jordan Elliott, DT, Missouri 48. New York Jets – Laviska Shenault, WR, Colorado 49. Pittsburgh Steelers – Clyde Edwards-Helaire, RB, LSU 50. Chicago Bears – Curtis Weaver, Ed…

So thru 3 rounds, this is what we are looking at: DET - Decent draft but missed opportunity to take Tua and/or trade Stafford, or trade down 1. Okudah, CB - basically replaces Slay, good for salary cap, but team really doesn't improve much. Highest DB ever selected, passed on Tua 2. Swift, RB - they already have KJ, so at most RBBC, they must be concerned about KJ's health. Good value pick 3. Okwara, Edge - Decent pick in the 3rd Round, brother is already on the team, reminds me a lot of Floyd, seems more comfortable as just a speed rusher. 4. Jackson, G - Interesting pick, Jackson had a 4th to 5th round grade from most sites, so Pick 75, 11th pick of the 3r…

NFL Still Plans To Try To Suspend The Williams Wall Posted by Mike Florio on June 2, 2009, 1:24 p.m. There’s an erroneous Associated Press report regarding Tuesday’s hearing in the case brought by Vikings defensive tackles Kevin and Pat Williams due to the StarCaps suspensions. The AP report initially said that the league’s lawyer told Hennepin County Judge Gary Larson that the NFL “won’t try to enforce its four-game suspension” of the two players. Not true, we’re told. The league instead told the Court that Kevin and Pat Williams will not be suspended until the first game of the regular season, and that in the interim they are free to participate in a…

#1 Trips right, Jeffery stops and actually drifts back. Forte goes up the gut and into the flats. Marshall and Bennett stay in routes. Interesting to see the defenders bite on Jeffery and Forte and leave Marshall and Bennett. Great pocket throughout. I would've like to have seen Forte turn the other way and spread the defenders out more. In all 4 pics, Cutler is zeroed in on Bennett/Marshall. In #4 you can see he is almost "all arming" the ball.

It's the right thing to do. https://www.si.com/nfl/bears/news/hip-injury-cited-as-reason-justin-fields-will-miss-final-game

Looks like Nagy is back in KC as QB coach. Wonder if this is Reid doing him a favor. As I don’t see any team hiring him to work wit their QBs especially not young QBs that need to be developed. Either way, to go from HC to a position coach is quite a step down.

I hate to give up picks, but Robby Anderson is said to be out there and could be had for a day 3 pick. If he could be had for a 5th would you do it? This would allow our day 2 picks to be shifted to OL/DL/CB.

I think we get 5 sacks in this game.

As a 70 year old fart not that big of a thing. But for all the game playing, WWF loving, 20-30 somethings in pro sports it seems like a great thing to rev up the troops.

So I saw an idea that might actually get some legs involving Nick Foles in the next few weeks. Very hypothetical. If the Bears beat the Falcons this week and go to 3-0 behind Trubisky and the Eagles somehow lose to the Bengals to fall to 0-3 with Wentz, do you consider trading Foles to the Eagles if they come calling? I don't think it would ever happen, but just for the sake of the discussion, what would you want in return for Foles? We sent a 4th to JAX but there was no leverage either way at that point. So to me, he is worth at least a 3rd, if not more at this point to the Eagles. So I was thinking of a 3rd and a 6th. We don't have a 4th or 7th next year, so…
