wanted to get everyone's thoughts on this possible trade. On one hand I think about when Graham was with Saints and how dominate he was. Think about an offense with him, Alshon and White. That trio could be insane. How do you stop those three(if white is as good as expected). On the other hand, what is Graham going to look like post injury? Would you get the Sea Graham or the Saints Graham? for debating purpose lets say Graham is going come back and play like the Saints Graham. Would you make that trade?

Does Briggs fit a 3-4? Given all the needs, if we add one or two young players, not a bad thing to have a dedicated Briggs back. The question really comes in to his dedication. Of course, I'm one of the few on this board that has been a huge Briggs fan, although last year he clearly was pretty upset and don't like the way he handled himself. I presume the Bears will not bring him back but in Fox / Pace I trust. I would hope Fox, Briggs, Fangio and Pace could talk and see if they thought there was a good fit. I am most concerned on his inability to stay on the field though. He was still our best lb'er (not that it says much) when he was healthy. At least make sure you d…

We're at the halfway point now, and there are some pretty obvious holes in the Bears' roster. It's always possible that some of them will be filled by season's end: Chris Williams could learn to play guard, one of our receivers could make the jump to a legit #1, Tommie Harris could reemerge as a great interior pass-rusher. At this point, though, none of that seems too likely. So if the season were over next week, who would you want in the draft? Here's my ideal scenario. 1) Julio Jones, WR, Bama - Cutler needs a go-to guy. I didn't buy it before this season, but now I'm convinced. As good as he is, he's always going to force a couple of passes into coverage, so…

The list starts with Terrence Metcalf, Lance Briggs and Bernard Berrian from 2002 to 2004. At that point not bad hitting on 2 out of 3 with 1 All Pro and a decent play making WR. After no 3rd rounder in 2005 the picks get shaky at best. From 2006 to 2009 JA has picked 7 players in the 3rd round with Earl Bennett and Marcus Harrison being the most productive out of the bunch. Thats not up to par with how he did in the beginning. So when we try to predict what he will do, I wouldn't be surprised if some way the Bears acquired an additional 3rd rounder which has been his trend recently. I'm not quite sure how the compensatory picks are given out but, Wale's impending free ag…

7.5 dogs seems a little high, but understandable. The Browns beat a terrible Texans team by 10 at home. However, it will be like a home game if Fields starts. Fields will finally get a week of practice with the 1s and hopefully build off his play from Sunday. This is an interesting matchup. Cleveland lost to KC and beat HOU. Just like the Bears lost to LAR and beat CIN. I feel like CLE is better than CIN but HOU, with Tyrod Taylor and Davis Mills at QB put up 21 pts and had the Texans within 3 pts with 8 mins to go. The Texans had two more drives, a punt and a missed FG. So there will be opportunities to score. I feel like Cleveland's strengths play right…

Bears made the trade finally. They will get a draft pick compensation, which is unknown right now. Sounds like they are flipping some picks. Wheeling and dealing continues: Bears are trading TE Martellus Bennett to Patriots for draft-pick compensation, league sources tell ESPN.

Gotta start with players still on the board: Kelee Ringo heads the list followed by those dudes below.. If the Bears want Tomi he's there for the taking. I think he's too similar to what we already have on the roster but don't mind at all if they take a chance on him. Other than him there isn't really anyone else standing out at the top of this list in terms of needs so a trade back seems appropriate if we have a good offer. DE is the obvious critical need but at this point in the draft the talent isn't there. Many of us have been clamoring for a new Center, myself included, but Greg Gabriel made a very good point after Rd 1 when he said with so …

Since we get to look at the draft now here is what I would have did. Round 1: I would have traded down with Atlanta getting an extra 3rd. Emery said we had the chance but trade value wasnt there.Since I still think we needed to go OL. Kyle Long/OG Round 2: I would go with the best rated LB instead of Bostic Arthur Brown/LB Round 3: We got this pick from Atlanta, would fit in as our NB right away and also is a good KR,PR giving us the option to cut Hester. B.W. Webb/CB Round 4: Green was a good value here and would stay with that. K. Green/LB Round 5: Go with another need here. J…

One thought on one play that really stood out to me. Orton drops back to pass, and is engulfed by a wave of attackers. Long beats St. Clair and reaches, pushing Orton up in the pocket, but that pocket in general is collapsing. I seriously could not even see him, but somehow he gets a little shuttle pass off to Forte. Forte takes it, then has one hell of a (I believe) 7 yard run after the catch, as he breaks tackles and pushes his way forward. After watching this play again on replay, a thought hit me which as much as anything, defines the difference this year from last. If Rex Grossman and Cedric Benson were in the game, does ANYONE believe we would have wal…
