Obviously you are going purely off the measurables and interview since there isn't a lot of film on him but he'd be the type of guy I'd be intrigued out in the 3rd-4th (no idea where he is pegged and my guess is once teams see him throw 80 yards down the field he'll climb up draft boards).

Does Briggs fit a 3-4? Given all the needs, if we add one or two young players, not a bad thing to have a dedicated Briggs back. The question really comes in to his dedication. Of course, I'm one of the few on this board that has been a huge Briggs fan, although last year he clearly was pretty upset and don't like the way he handled himself. A lot of picks to like, obviously Smith is a great pick, but for some reason the Miller pick is sticking with me. The more I read about the kid, I am sold and think he will turn out to be a long-time starter for the franchise.

After two straight losses, this is a must win if we want to have any chance at making the playoffs. If we can't beat the Jets at Soldier Field, we do not deserve to sniff the playoffs. Trubisky listed on injury report with a right shoulder injury. Hopefully he is okay / injury is minor. Evidently it happened after the late hit near the end of the game. He joins Lynch and Shaheen on the injury report as the two of them are both in concussion protocol. Given the short week, I presume there is a good chance Shaheen/Lynch are out this week. I listen to a ton of bears podcasts and read almost every article written on them , I'm bored, and so many of these bears people place CB as one of their important needs. A lot of them are mocking a CB either as the first or second pick. My logic tells me that the bears are going all in on winning this year. As I look at needs, I have to look at who is already on the team. Tolliver, Burns, Robinson Xavier Crawford, Denmark, Fuller, Joseph, McManis, Skine, and Shelly. We've had discussions about our biggest surprise on offense, now let's get defensive...My biggest surprise will be Mario Edward's Jr. I think his name has sort of gotten forgoten here the past few years with the likes of Hicks, Goldman, and Nichols also being really good. I'm worried about winning, Even with our depleted roster, you can feel this team getting stronger.
