What are some things you'll be looking for in tonight's game. Hard to believer the preseason is upon us and soon the regular season will be too. I'm hoping my local stations pick up the game. I don't get NFL network. My top item is one I'll have to wait for. I want to see how Trubisky does. I'll be watching how smooth the center QB exchange is and how well he's transitioning from primarily shot gun in college to being under center here. Cut/Trade: Brian Urlacher-If we can trade him for a 2nd round pick or better, let's dump him and plug in a young guy, we have several young LB's that can do as well... Some people are ready to see Cutler back next year. That's fine, everyone is welcome to their own opinion. I just want to understand how you come to this conclusion. Convince me on why Jay Cutler should be the Chicago Bears QB in 2015. I don't want stats. I don't want contract details. I don't want physical traits like a strong arm. Urlacher makes a pretty strong case to re-sign him. I thought his wording was interesting. He seems to understand that to stay on this team, he is going to have to take a pay cut. I wouldn't mind bringing him back for a 2-year incentive laden deal. This would allow us to focus the draft on other needs. Here we go. Well-traveled, warm-weather Rams playing at Soldier Field. This is going to be a shootout. Bears start as 3.5 underdogs, which seems about right.

1. Cutler has to play better against Philly if they want a big win there. He had a lot of passes that were iffy. 2. Roy Williams is starting to play better. That's a great sign. It was good to see Knox get involved today also. 3. It's now evident more than ever that J'Marcus Webb is the weak link on the OL. Everyone on the OL had a decent game except for him. He gets beat way too much. 4. The Bears got some pressure from the front 4, but it was never overwhelming. Does Henry Melton even play for the Bears anymore? Jesus. And where the f*** was Paea today? I just read that RB Jonathan Stewart had surgery on his toe, and will be for the next 4-6 months. He has been considered a mid 1st round pick, and there have even been some mocks w/ us taking him. His agent says he should be ready for the start of training camp, but that is only if his rehab goes according to plan. So the questions are, (1) how far will he fall. He can't workout for teams, and his injury (at least) takes him out of mini-camps and puts into question his being ready to start training camp. (2) If he fell to us in the 2nd, would he be considered a steal, or too great of a risk?

I'm rather astounded there hasn't been more "love" for Adrian Peterson. AP is a complete back. He's a good receiver and he's a good blocker. He's also a "power runner" which is supposed to be ideal for Turner's system. He'd never be a pro-bowler, but he demonstrated that's he's easily the best running back on this team. While some are demanding that Orton should be the #1 QB next season, where's the love for AP? IMO AP should be named the #1 ASAP. The sad truth is, I don't see us bringing in anyone else. I'd love for us to dump Benson (today on the SCORE I heard him say that he wasn't going to do anything different this offseason . . . what a jack-ass.) There…
