http://www.csnchicago.com/bears/lance-brig...&ocid=yahoo "Trade all the draft picks and bring my brothers back," Briggs deadpanned on the Kap and Haugh show Friday. Briggs, of course, is referencing Charles Tillman, Devin Hester, Julius Peppers and Brian Urlacher when he mentions his "brothers."

Charles Tillman has re-signed with the#Bears on a one-year deal, I'm told. Somewhat of a surprise but pleasant one, given his legacy there

Say it ain't so

http://chicago.cbslocal.com/2014/04/07/rep...to-visit-bears/ I hope to hell we draft this guy. Would be a PERFECT fit as a utility guy that can catch passes or take hand-offs every now and then, as well as being our main special teams returner. Think Dexter McCluster.

After watching Ray Lewis "a football life" on NFL network I was thinking he should be brought into Chicago as our defensive quality control coach and groomed to be our future def coordinator. The dude was a stud who played the game the right way and clearly is a leader of men with a passion for excellence.

For those that are actually watching the game. A win keeps our slim playoff chances alive (winning out and having DET and DAL both go 1-3, and SF 2-2). Otherwise a loss eliminates us from the playoffs and keeps are draft position intact.

We dont need any sugar coating wins... and no b.s. wins to give us another shea mclellin draft spots... GO SAINTS! Call me a traitor but i call myself a realist and opprotunist... right now we r lookin at a top ten pick!

Who can be cut without detriment to the team? I don't give a damn if it's half the team, to be quite honest. I think Jared Allen is untouchable because of the money, but who else falls into that boat? The only players on defense who I want kept are cheap, good, or financial obligations. But I don't have a real interest in any except Jennings, Peanut, Fuller, Jones, Jennings, Young, and Paea.

I want Rex.He will bring back traditional Bear Football, Great defense, running the ball. keeping more clock, less time of possesion for Aron Rodgers and others.

Pace said he will rebuild through the draft, so I dont think there will be any big free agent signing, but plenty of lower end signing to help redo the roster. We have decent amount of cap space, but way to many spots to fill,to spend big. QBs-We will NOT be bringing in a QB to compete with Cutler, simply none available. Backups: Matt Moore has history with Fox Brian Hoyer has history with our new QB coach Jake Locker has history with our new QB coach conclusion: I think we bring in one of these 3 OR draft one. RBs-I think Kary gets a chance to show what he can do and keep in mind Gase and Fox ha…

I heard on the SCORE that what put in a waiver claim for Tim Wright /TE but TB was higher on the waiver list. We keep searching for TEs, I wonder if they think MB wont be at minicamp next week.

1. If I was Jay Cutler, I would either demand that in the offseason they make a valiant effort to improve the OL or I would demand a trade. He's a human being; how much more of a beating can he take? Meanwhile, they invest $20m/season in him but do nothing to help. They have midgets out there at WR, Kellen Davis can't block, and their OL is trash. 2. Considering the circumstances, I think the defense did fine. The DL didn't get pressure but a lot of Brees' throws were quick ones. If they had more rest, they would've played better. 3. Chris Harris, as anyone today could see, is a key to this defense. The Bears other safeties are dogs***. Extend him and Forte asap…

1. The Cardinals suck. 2. The Cardinals know they suck. 3. The Cardinals have one chip to bargain with: Larry Fitzgerald 4. The Cardinals need to rebuild more than one position 5. The Bears need a WR 6. Fitzgerald is one of the best WRs in the NFL 7. Fitzgerald fits almost exactly what the Bears lack 8. Fitzgerald is unequivocally better than the chances and risks taken with a first round pick So why not offer the Cardinals next year's first round pick for Larry Fitzgerald? Why wouldn't that work? Why would they not take the offer, or at least make a cheap counter-offer? Maybe a 1st and a 5th gets the deal done. If so, I say this happens in …

Bears Promote Mike Tice To Offensive Coordinator The Chicago Bears have promoted offensive line coach Mike Tice to offensive coordinator, Jay Glazer of FOXSports.com reports. Though Tice has head coaching experience in the NFL, he has never been a coordinator. An opportunity to coordinate the Tennessee Titans was blocked by the Bears last offseason. To account for a lack of experience at this position, Glazer adds that Tice will manage the running game and will be paired with a passing game coordinator, a situation occurred with the Arizona Cardinals, who had Russ Grimm coordinate the running game and Matt Miller run the passing game. http://www.macsfo…

http://m.bleacherreport.com/articles/10507...n=chicago-bears Intriguing. From what I've been reading, Emery doesn't strike me as high profile big spender. I suspect they are going to try and get a deal done for Forte. This would make some sense, and I think he might be past his silly stage... Or would that matter? I still like Burress (as he could be available) or even better Marshall. But hey..what do I know?

Three year deal. They must be really worried about Knox's status.

http://profootballtalk.nbcsports.com/category/rumor-mill/ Forte has signed a 4 year deal making 8.8 million per year!
