I've seen this now in 2 separate ESPN chats that the bears are working on a Wildcat formation this week, and that Hester could be involved. Id be happier to see the Wildcat run with Forte and Jones, rather than Forte and Hester, simply because the wildcat doesnt really get hester into too much space where he can be effective

This is a very creative offense. They bring out just about every formation, the wishbone, the wildcat etc.. Their unique running style makes Chad Pennington look like a Pro Bowler when he's really just like Kyle Orton if you think about it. I wish the Bears would develop a clever offense like this, that keeps the defense on their toes. Bring that OC over here

I agree that it's a clean hit, because the WR ducking his head when he sees the contact coming, but how many times have we seen a nearly identical play get called a penalty? I believe we've had a debate or two about the topic on this forum. There is no denying the helmets hit, and Phil Simms is a moron. That is precisely when we have seen the helmet-to-helmet penalty come into play. Over and over again. It's a bogus rule, but if they're going to apply it, then effing apply it.

The three most attractive veteran WR options out there are Torry Holt, Plaxico Burress, and Matt Jones. Anyone else available isn't going to make the impact that these three guys can make. However, of the three individuals, Burress has had constant on the field and off the field problems and Jones has had very serious off the field problems. Suspensions are looming for both Jones and Burress and in Plax case you have jail to worry about. We are looking for two new people to join the TalkBears $25 keeper league. This league has been going on for close to 10 years and is always very competitive. We use Yahoo and collect league dues with Leaguesafe. 1st gets $150, 2nd gets $75 and 3rd gets their entry money back. Currently, the keeper rules are you are able to keep any player as long as you drafted the player and they are on your roster at the end of the season, you didn't draft the player in the first round and you didn't keep the same player the year before. Bears favored by 10 on the road. The Bills defense is very good but their offense is arguably one of the worst in the league. They have scored 37 points in their last 5 games (averaging just over 7 per game) and are coming off a MNF loss to NE. In contrast, the Bears have scored less than 23 once (in a 16-14 win). It is amazing the money the Bears have shelled out for what has been considered a complete lack of effort and discipline with regression and disappointment throughout the roster. Check out the top 10 contracts (in terms of overall value): 1. Mack (141M), the highest paid defensive player in football, gets his huge contract and has been a huge disappointment this year for the money. He had no stats against the Rams. Not a single hurry, pressure, tackle, etc. That is hard to do. 2. Fuller (56M), the 2nd highest salary on the team, a complete regression from last year. He is actually losing us games. The NFL and media have fallen in love with the passing game in recent years but this year the playoffs are proving that you can still win by running the ball. The Titans have taken down the Patriots and Ravens behind a middling QB, a strong running game/Oline, and a strong defense. We have two of those pieces. FWIW the Ravens got to the 1 seed by running. We all know we need the Oline fixed but we also must find a good RB to compliment Montgomery. A RB with some speed. Then we need someone to call the running plays.

We haven't done one of these in awhile.
