See you next year then. Peace

Time to see what Rodriquez can do in the pass offense. Peace

Tied at 13 actually. After Marshall dropped the touchdown, Gould kicked the 51 yarder that would not have happened if a TD is scored. Peace
  4. I think we are in much better shape than last year. Campbell is much, much better than Hanie. Peace

Gould made a 51 yarder in the crap last night. I am not going to rip on him. His missed field goal did not cost us the game. His miss two weeks ago was a block which is not his fault. Kellen Davis sucks period. I would much rather sees Adams play for him. He should be gone at the end of the year. Hester can leave at the end of the year if this is all we are going to get from him. I love him as a Bear but he is not worth more than $1 million a year now. Brandon Marshall has had a great year but he dropped a clear touchdown last night and it was extremely costly. On a positive note - love what a see from Evan Rodriquez. He had a great block on a big run from Bush. Would like to see how he does catching the ball. Carmini played a much better game. I know he was getting some help but it is a step in the right direction. Why does it take two to five minutes to review a play? Last night on the opening kickoff it was clear the runner was down by contact and we had to wait for three minutes for them to figure this out. Peace
  6. Peanut didn't lose a child. His daughter had to have a heart transplant but the point is still valid. In the end the Bears have said he can do what he needs to do. End of discussion. Peace
  7. I'm going disagree 100%. I'm sure if his contract said he would lose a paycheck, Charles wouldn't give a crap. This is his wife and family. Football is just game. His priorities are in the absolute right place. Peace
  8. What Tillman did today was truly incredible. He is having an amazing year. Peace
  9. If Url and Hester are willing to give hometown discounts then I have no problem keeping them. My original point was I wouldn't pay either anywhere near what they had earned previously. They are too of my favorite all time players but they are not worth what they are making now. Peace
  10. How do think 49er fans felt? I love the Bears but in the end it is just sports. Even if they both leave they will always be Bears to me. Peace
  11. I would much rather see them let the GM do what he thinks is best for the team. How many people associate Jerry Rice with the Raiders or Joe Montana with the Chiefs? I don't mind either player staying - I am a huge fan of both. However, I don't want them to be here at the price of getting a top notch FA offensive lineman.' Peace
  12. It's not shipping them off if they are looking to be paid more than then team believes they are worth. Peace

Are they here next year? I cannot see the front office spending good money on either of there two players. I know we all want them to retire as Bears but not if it costs us getting a top notch offensive lineman or two if free agency. Thoughts? Peace
  14. Agreed 100%. Cutler is not the issue. As Jason says every year, they must get him an o-line this offseason. Peace
  15. Never said I was impressed or satisfied by underperformance. All I said was we won. Peace

The ineffectiveness of the offense in the 2nd half was largely do to Cutler's injury. I give him props for going on the field but you could tell he was hurt. Tice should have pulled him for Campbell. Peace
  17. Alrighty then. Peace
  18. I don't see it as a dirty hit. It was a hard hit, but clean. Peace
  19. Jason - OK. Maybe 55-45 split. I'll go with that. In the end, I believe they simply kept the player they felt had a better upside and a better contract situation with the team. Williams was a FA at the end of the year. Webb is not. They know they were not going to invest in Williams moving forward so they moved on. Peace
  20. Again, your opinion he probably won the position. The majority of the input I read about the preseason was it was a draw. Further, Williams was a first round pick under Angelo. The new GM is Emery and I expect him to clean house as he feels necessary so I don't really care if Williams is gone. Peace
  21. Based on your judgement he played better in the preseason. Most people said it was a wash. Maybe the coaching staff simply made the decision back in the preseason he is not the long term answer at either position. Who really cares. He's gone. Peace
  22. I believe he was brought back to play special teams. Must not be happy with the play they have seen there. Peace
