  1. Jennings is not a rookie. He played a few years for Indy prior to joining us. Peace
  2. This. Peace

I made a slight edit and a spelling fix. I agree that Collins should have never seen the field. Further, they should have cut his arse in after the Carolina game. Peace
  4. Exactly. My only issue with the entire situation was that Collins was still on the team. What a waste of a uniform. Cutler was told he could not return to the game. His teammates know the beating he took this year and didn't have any issues with it. Everyone just needs to take a step back and relax. Peace
  5. Hanie is the #2. Draft a qb to develop. Knox will never be better than a good #2 receiver and Hester should be the #4 receiver. Bennett is your #3 so you must go get a #1 receiver. Upgrade both lines. Tommie can go (too much money). Get Menkins and Jackson if possible. Peace
  6. Look at the list of head coaches the Bears have had. Based on the POS they have had other than Ditka and Halas, of course he is in the top 3. I guess I'm saying thats not a very glamerous list of coaches (other that Ditka and Halas). http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_Chica...rs_head_coaches Peace
  7. WE have a very good coaching staff. Lovie is not the best head coach in the league but he is in the top 10. Our entire coaching staff should be considered top 5. One of the things we have never given Lovie credit for is how well he connects with his players. They absolutely love playing for him and have bought in 100%. Peace
  8. Nice article but I'm going to give Julius a big 'who you crappin' when he said they were in every game last year. He must not have watched the Arizona, Baltimore, or Cincy games where we were blown out. Peace
  9. Outstanding!!!! Peace

Here is an article explaining it. http://sports.espn.go.com/nfl/news/story?id=2690426 Peace

Lambeau has the natural grass/turf blend. I interviewed an employee of Field Turf (I write for a local paper). Field Turf has aboud 70% of the sythetic surface market. He is their regional sales rep and said the Bears were very close last year to agreeing to make the change. Peace
  12. I love your passion, but Smith and Angelo will not be fired if they lose. NFL owners don't fire coaches/gms when their teams make the championship game. Peace

Here is an article I found on it. Dates back to 1985. You've been to several Bears games. Haven't you heard this before? I can remember the yelling and screaming at non-playoff games as well (national broadcast games) and what you are hearing is yelling and screaming - not singing. I usually clap and don't yell and scream. It doesn't bother me. I get pissed when someone doesn't remove their hat. Peace http://www.secondcityhockey.com/2009/3/17/...y-over-cheering

It's the same effect as when they sing the Anthem at the Blackhawks game (yesterday was the same singer as well - Jim Cornelios (sp)). I believe the tradition in Chicago dates back to the first Gulf War. There was a Blackhawks game the day after war was declared and the crowd went crazy. I actually think it is very cool and is a great show of pride in our country. Someone correct me if I'm wrong. Peace
  15. Team, I deleted 4 replies on this post as they had a political reference in them. I apologize for not responding last night when I saw the post but I honestly didn't think about it at the time. Peace
  16. These are the ones I have seen in person (in no particular order): 1 - Keith Traylor's interception return. 2 - Devin returning 2 TDs against the Broncos (one where he jumps Saurkraut) 3 - Tillman snatching the ball from Moss in the endzone to win the game (was Peanut's rookie year) 4 - Bryan Robinson blocking the field goal at Lambeau to win the game the same week Walter passed away 5 - Devin's touchdown return in the Superbowl 6 - Urlacher intercepting Favre and returning it 90 yards for a TD (Favre's last game at Soldier as a Packer) 7 - Thomas Jones running the ball 8 times in a row for a TD against the Saints right before half in the NFC Championship game 8 - Berrian's TD catch in the NFC championship game 9 - Gould's 49 yard game winning FG against the Seahawks in the playoffs Peace
  17. Mad - Big Keith Traylor had a great rumblin, bumblin, stumblin run but he did not make it to the endzone. He was tackled around the 10 yard line. I was there. Definitely a play I would have in my top highlights!!! Peace

I would say we need to draft 2 o-linemen in the first 3 rounds. We cannot continue to ignore this position in the draft. Peace
  19. What does this have to do with anything? No more Favre news please. My hope is we don't have to hear about him anymore until he is inducted in the HOF. Peace
  20. Bears 28 Chickens 10 Forte 110 yards, 1 TD Mini Ditka 125 Peace
  21. Exactly!!! Peace
  22. Congrats to Chico!!!! Peace
