  1. I watched about an hour of pre-draft video on him and that was one flaw. He needs to figure out the wiggles in the pocket to avoid the rush. He is intelligent, so I would think he figures this out too. This is why I think they need to take their time with him. He may be the best athlete in the QB room, but let him learn holding the clipboard for 8-12 games or until he plays mistake free. Everyone saying he needs to start game 1 are the same people who buy a Corvette in January and instead of keeping it in the garage, they drive it on snow. No thought about ruining it, you bought it so why park it. ???
  2. One of Fields biggest issues is picking up the blitz. Teams will test him early to see if he fixed that issue. This is why I bet the Bears drafted two linemen right after.
  3. In the Pace/Nagy interview, Pace mentioned they have the strategy laid out to get through this. It will be interesting to see. I would like to see Arob and Hicks contracts re-done to keep them both around for the SB run.
  4. It better be his wake up call. I think a lot of the team were fed up with the old QB. Now we will see their tunes change as Fields can be that guy who can elevate the offense.
  5. Some thoughts.... Think Miller still wants out? Bet he wants to stay now. Have you seen Eddie Jacksons comment after the Bears got Fields. He said they finally have a real QB. I wish we had a real FS.
  6. Now to get some UDFA's - I expect it to be strong at WR and DB.
  7. I posted wrong page... RD7-250 Khyiris Tonga DT BYU 6-4 321. Looks like NT depth for Goldman
  8. RD7-250 Khyiris Tonga DT BYU 6-4 321. Looks like NT depth
  9. RD6-228 Thomas Graham Jr CB Oregon 5-11 195. Can struggle against bigger WR, ballhawk.
  10. Makes you wonder why. Like Trey Smith. Must have failed something.
  11. Good zone scheme RB too. Has to make the team through ST early on
  12. RD6-221 Daz Newsome UNC WR 5-11. 190 Best traits-routes, yac, returns, slot
  13. RD6-217 Khalil Herbert RB Virginia Tech
  14. Pace must be out of conviction to move down. Hope he finds a WR gem, OLB, and DB. He can grab Trey Smith OL and I'd be ok too.
  15. Bears trade Seattle for picks 217 and 250
  16. DT- there are a few decent ones. Like the kid GB just took. Marvin Wilson FSU, Marlon Tuipuloto USC, Edge DE- Adetikunbo Ogundegi ND, Shaka Toney PSU WR- still alot from above list. Decent DBs still available too.
  17. After reading on him, yes they say he is better suited to move to G. Many WRs left, so they felt they need to shore up the oline. Trey Smith OT Tennessee is mad. Wonder why teams are passing him
  18. Larry Borom OT Mizzu
  19. I think they need to grab a weapon for Fields. Simi or Terry? Be fine with Wade too.
  20. I think we are all fine with these moves right now. I do not think using this model of continuous trading up brings success. If we get the QB right and it shows in wins, then we can maybe see the reverse draft system of trading down for more capital. It all starts with having a franchise QB .
  21. It is nice to see targets we may like. Who do we need? WR Simi Feholko Cade Johnson SDSU Sage Surrat Tamorrian Terry Shi Smith SCar Trevino Grimes Marquez Stevenson CB Shaun Wade OSU Tay Gowan Shakur Brown S Richard LeCounte Hamdan Nasirdeen ILB Dylan Moses DT Marvin Wilson Daylin Nixon TE Bevin Jordan

That is all I am saying. I love these two players but also fell in love with Trub, Floyd, Miller, and Montgomery also Next year they better not trade up. No more consensus convictions. Oh wait, he still has time to use up those picks.

I love the prospects they have but Pace cannot avoid trading up. I bet he pays for fast passes at amusement parks. Hits play next on the juke box. Would Mayfield or Cosmi be that much worse?

Another hefty price we Bears fans seem to pay yearly.

They traded up again... Tevin Jenkins OT. Damn finally Pace getting smart
