I'm seeing so far the majority of those who don't want McDaniels here is because of mistakes he made during his 1st time coaching. I thought we lived in a society of 2nd chances? I know we all want that perfect coach who doesn't have any blemish on his resume and has called plays before for several yrs and someone who never makes mistakes. Can we just stop. That candidate doesn't exist. If this is your only reason for not wanting him I don't see it as viable excuse because it's a mistake he made and he spent so far 7 yrs learn from it. Now personally I don't want him and it's got nothing to do with Denver. I just don't see his offense as the reason they succeed out in NE. I personally think it's got everything to do with a certain 40 yr old QB who is still performing at an MVP type level. Brady has made pedestrian targets look damn good his entire career. That's not McDaniels doing. That's Brady. The other thing is right now McDaniels can probably pick any job he wants as he's the top guy and don't see our job as the hottest job available so I honestly don't think he chooses us. I think we are looking at top 3 guys of shurmur, defilippo and maybe Nagy coming here

Guys ignore that ESPN article. That's what has started all that drama. There is only 1 thing in that article that doesn't seem completely made up and that's about his personal trainer. And according to Andrew Brandt who has served time in the packers front office and is very connected around the league he says this type of stuff goes on in almost every locker room with the star players Because those players have always gotten preferential treatment and they would rather have there own guy instead of the team guy. According to schefter the raiders are going to give Gruden a 10 yr $100 million deal. Why is a part of me hopes that gruden completely stinks up the place. That deal could really hurt the team if it don't work out

So with all 3 in shurmur, McDaniels and defilippo would mean not until after next weekend. Just curious as I don't know but if we come to an agreement with 1 of them is there anything that could prevent another team from swooping in last minute and getting him. Well technically they can't interview will until next week. His team plays this weekend in the playoffs whereas the Minnesota guys and McDaniels don't play this weekend. So they can interview. Even after interviewing they can't announce any hiring any after that person's team has been eliminated from the playoffs or until after the Superbowl

I can't even bring myself to listen to the radio anymore. The other day I turned on a sports talk station and for an entire 15 Minutes the only thing the guys talked about was some former basketball player had started dating some model. So they talked about that and trying to guess how they met and how romantic it might have been and how long this fling would last etc etc. This was a national sports talk radio show. I'm sorry that's not sports related and personally don't care who is dating who. When I tune into a sports station I want to her something about sports. Not personal bedroom stuff or politics
