  1. Personally I don't think he will but he does deserve it I believe
  2. All I'll say and I'll apologize for language is this. Karma is a bitch. Coaches are a very small inclusive group and you can bet your bottom dollar that when he becomes a HC that other coaches will keep this in mind. The HC hires the assistants so him backing out he screwed those same guys he just had a hand in hiring. I really hope those coaches can get out of the contract if they wish to leave and can find a better opportunity. I do feel awful for Indy. I don't buy into the whole pats cheat all the time narrative but when you do shady crap like this it gets harder and harder to ignore that narrative
  3. Yeah awful curious why he backed out. I heard there are several coaches who already signed under the assumption he was going to be there. I hope they can move on to a different spot if they choose to
  4. Excellent point. If HH didn't publicly back them he would be crucified
  5. Correct. I think I saw he was due $5.5M if he was still on the roster come tomorrow which seems odd. Usually I've heard of stuff like that on start of the new year or around that date. But not just days after the super bowl and the raiders were able to release him with no dead money either
  6. It's being reported that amerson still visit Chicago
  7. I agree with your overall idea except taking a tackle in the 2nd after taking Nelson in the 1st. This team has so many holes on it and by doing that your essentially ignoring all the other positions until at least the 4th rd. I've been on record that if Nelson is there you take him. I think he's an all pro almost from the start so although guard may not be an obvious need you just can't ignore someone this good and waiting til next yr or something and praying you can find someone this good then
  8. Yeah I remember watching all those except butkus and Sayers. But those started when I was to young to fully understand. It's sad to think I'm 37 and I've only seen 1 full HOF career player start to finish
  9. It's hard to say long is in declining yrs. Even with him being completely banged up the past couple yrs he's still performed pretty good. Sitton might be declining. He's in his 30s now
  10. Childress is set to join the team as an offensive consultant. He has didn't the last 5 yrs in KC working with Nagy
  11. I haven't heard that report about Butler yet. Everything just seems strange
  12. Yeah it seems extremely strange how he practiced with the starters all week and then finds out pregame he won't play. And new England only dressed 3 CBs. Just doesn't seem right. Something smells fishy about all this. The defensive players I've heard are upset by this decision and now gronk is talking possibly retiring. Is it just talk or is all of this connected in some way
  13. Personally I think Nelson is the best non QB in this draft so I agree with taking him at #8. But I've got a gut feeling he's going before us. I like your idea but I can't wait until the 4th round to get a wr
  14. Oh yeah completely agree. Dude was a solid starter this yr as well. To be treated the way he was yesterday. You know dude can't wait to face them
  15. I watched that game just yesterday. That game epitomizes the greatness of him. And I think he's the 1st hall of famer that I got to enjoy his entire career from start to finish
  16. Joseph in the 5th? Wow that would be quite the story. I honestly don't know what his projection is but I can't imagine it's that high I know his story very well and I'd love to have him here
  17. By saying no brainer your acting like it's not even up for discussion lol. Personally I'd rather have Nelson over Fitzpatrick but my top 10 includes Ridley because I do believe in our system with trubisky there he can truly be special
  18. I couldn't be happier the voters got it right and put both urlacher and Lewis in on 1st ballot. No problems with any of the guys
  19. If Barkley is there I'm positive we will trade back. We aren't in a position for a luxury pick when we have so many holes
  20. Our history lately with WRs is bad but looking at we have either taken a wr in 1st or we wait til the 7th. Nothing in between. And that's been the problem is completely ignoring the position in the middle rds all together
  21. I've seen all kinds of reports saying he's just 19. But yeah I can't verify when his bday actually is which is weird
  22. Honestly speaking I don't mind taking Ridley at #8. I do think he is with it. But with that said we have so many holes that I don't really care which position we take at 8 outside of the obvious qb, RB, and k and punter. The biggest thing is pace has to hit on the pick. Someone who can immediately come in and be that guy. There is 1 guy I want more than anyone else and that's Quentin Nelson. I think he's a future a pro and obviously it's someone who can protect trubisky
  23. Yeah that's true considering all there QBs are free agents. I've thought about Jacksonville as well but bortles has a big gtd yr for next yr. I'm thinking they will let that ride 1 last yr
  24. No problem. I about tossed my cookies when I saw that deal come through on Twitter. I love Alex Smith and I'd totally give him a 4 yr deal but not with $71M gtd. If father time starts to catch up with him they are going to wish they just bucked up given cousins what he wanted
