  1. Completely agree there. I think best guess is wright is the only one that returns. Maybe inman. However if I'm not mistaken aren't both FAs. I could be wrong on that. White will obviously be back for the final yr of his deal but I don't see any way the front office and coaching staff will go into 2018 counting on him at all.
  2. I find it funny that your jumping all over this because it's not realistic but you can sit there and do all kinds of mocks where we trade several times and pick up all kinds of FAs? What part of that is realistic? Lighten up. More or less it's a game that we can play to kill some time during this down time until FA actually begins. And what they hell I just caught myself defending jason. The world must be coming to an end lol. I appreciate what he's attempting to do here
  3. As much as I want a WR with our pick if Nelson was there I'd think long and hard about him. I know it's G and not a position to take that high but I think he's special. Especially given the chance to work with heistand again. However my gut is telling me he comes off the board before us. I can't justify it other than saying it's my gut and well usually my guy isn't completely off.
  4. Exactly. I would want to put a big time emphasis on trubisky. All about getting him some playmakers and a new RT
  5. In his post Jason said no trade or FA consideration. That is exactly why I went WR #1. Now if we grab a top WR or 2 in FA then that changes everything. But going off exactly as he said WR has to be 1of the top targets
  6. Biggest need WR and OLB in that order
  7. Yeah j agree with you. I don't like he idea of cutting sitton for a rookie because sitton is not an issue. He's 1 of our best OL. I'd rather replace both of the tackles
  8. Kevin gilbride will be our next TE coach
  9. Thanks. His name just doesn't ring a bell. I remember a lot of those Martz teams but not him. Never even heard of that college. Lol
  10. Biggs just tweeted that Mike furrey the head coach of limestone college and former NFL receiver will be our WR coach. Anyone have any information about this guy? I've never heard of him
  11. I've been looking at Twitter most of the deal. At least of verified and trusted sources like Biggs and schefter and I've seen nothing of an ultimatum. I have hard time believing for the man reason you just don't give someone as well respected as him such a thing when nothing was that critical yet because none of the other teams had even hired a HC and more than likely are waiting for the teams to get eliminated from playoffs. And the earliest that happens is tomorrow night so best case scenario a team doesn't even hire a coach until Sunday afternoon at the earliest I suspect. From there it would probably Mon before we would have gotten to critical area
  12. Where did you hear that we gave him an ultimatum? I've heard nothing of the sorts and would be really wrong to give such a well respected man like Fangio an ultimatum when he could have taken until probably at least Sunday with no issues at all
  13. Yup now it's all on Pace to get this staff some actual playmalers
  14. Schefter is reporting it's a 3 yr deal for Fangio
  15. Brad Biggs just tweeted that the beloved are expected to retain Fangio.
  16. Couple problems with bettcher. 1 is that he's a candidate for the AZ hc job and he won't take a DC job here until he knows about the HC job and 2 if that he's still under contract through the 2018 season so even if we wanted him we would still have to ask permission just to interview him. Considering there are 4 other teams that haven't even hired a HC yet I don't see the hurry although I do think all will be fine by early next week as once teams start getting eliminated from playoffs we will start seeing hires in Indy and such. That's when it still become more of a hurry
  17. I'd be ok with bringing back wright but in no way do I want to see Bellamy actually play on offense. I've heard he's good on special teams so if he returns I want nothing more than that. The dude has a serious problem with actually catching the ball The love those teams have for the TE is 1 of the reasons I want to see Shaheen have a major role next yr
  18. I saw someone earlier tweeted that Allen Robinson would be perfect fit for us. He's very interesting when healthy
  19. I really am getting excited to. For 1st time in a long time but HC and GM are on similar styles it seems. And as much as I like nagy I really love the staff he is putting together. And it's been just offensive coaches he is bringing it. Something is making me think he is doing this quickly and then go to Fangio and tell him if you return you can have the say in who you want for his side of ball. Giving him full run of things there. Personally I think Fangio has earned that much in his career. Give him a pay increase, asst HC and full latitude to bring in his guys
  20. Personally I look at this as nagy isn't just looking for ppl just like him. He's looking at diversity in the system. Just like how nagy comes from Reid but Reid is straight WCO. Hates to run the ball. However when nagy took over play calling you saw his style was WC but more aggressive especially with running the ball and the RPOs. Now helfrich comes from the spread. Looking at it as adding another wrinkle to the offense. Keep the defense guessing because as everyone knows trubisky has really good mobility so can run some of the WCO, RPOs and the spread. I like it
  21. I honestly can't think of any coordinator who has ever outlasted that much choas
  22. It was just announced that mark helfrich the ducks HC will take the OC position here
  23. I bet nagy talked to toub about who he would recommend which is how he decided to go with Tabor. Also speaks volumes about Tabor and his work that he out lasted 4 gms and like 3 or 4 HCs out in Cleveland.
  24. Yes your right. He's been the browns SP coordinator since 2012 season and during that time the browns have always had a string special teams. He's been the 1 constant out there amongst all the turnover they have seen
  25. He's had a few good yrs with Cleveland. Well as good as can be expected I guess lol
