  1. Yup and saw Adam schefter say that with Cobb and Nelson both have just 1 yr left on there deals and it's possible 1 or both could be released
  2. Actually of the #6 seed wins there wild card matchup then they travel to the #1 seed. If the #3 seed wins then they go to the #2 seed
  3. Im not reading anything into that comment from fox at all for multiple reasons. That comment is absolutely fact. His resume before getting here speaks for itself. So he's just being honest. And you say he's overly confident? Sure but I want a HC that's confident. He's been in the business a long time he knows if he comes out and sounds beaten down he will get crushed for it. I've seen hue Jackson sound way over confident as well despite his team has 1 total win in the 2 yrs he's been there.
  4. I'm happy with the cap flexibility he's created and though he has missed badly in FA none of those deals are crippling. He's attempted to build through the draft but sadly his draft record isn't all that good either. There are several players that we like but need to see more before we can say he hit on them. And I don't look at the rookies yet. Any of these guys could be 1 hit wonders. Need to see him draft guys and be able to extend those guys into a 2nd contract
  5. My bad. Then 1 of the 4ths
  6. Freeman is Definitely gone. I'd like to see spending a 3rd on a LB
  7. It really is a shame Freeman couldn't stay on the field. Him and trevethan would be quite the building block at LB. Definitely agree with getting 1 of the LBs early along with WR
  8. I think I'd offer around 4 yr $40M with $16Mish gtd. And offer another $5-$10M in performance based bonuses such as pro bowl, interceptions and PDs. Along with the typical active roster bonuses. I think if you front load the gtd portion then you are protecting ourselves if he drastically falls off the cliff and he feels like he gets paid with a big incentive to keep it up
  9. Jones I think is a must. He's stepped up big time while everyone else was getting hurt/suspended. He's been the constant
  10. Im good with your list except sitton and massie certainly aren't going anywhere till at the very least preseason. I can't stand massie and do want him replaced in the draft or FA
  11. Last yr we saw lots of reports about how good he was for Prescott and now we see more of the same for his work with trubisky. I'm all for bringing him back as a #3. There isn't much harm and we certainly aren't breaking the bank for him. He provides that veteran leadership for trubisky. Someone who has been there done that. Sanchez might be a bad qb these days but clearly he's got a knack at coaching
  12. I've heard that rumor but I've also seen Arians come out and say he has no intentions of leaving. That rumor says it has to do with his health
  13. I could be wrong but isn't that the last time we had all 5 guys start the entire yr
  14. I'll talk it over with my fiance later today about possibly returning. I do miss how competitive it was and certainly didn't help the 1 league I was in this yr. That was a horrible decision I regret
  15. He definitely has to be resigned. I'd hope for 3 or 4 yrs with big guarantees in the form of performance based. # of picks and # of PDs
  16. I like the list but honestly I don't get all the love for rrh to put him as a core player
  17. I was extremely impressed by fuller this game. 6 PD's to go with his 1 pick. He's now 2nd in the league with 22 PD's
  18. Yeah. Less than 50%. That has to be one of the worst among receivers with so many targets.
  19. Congrats Brad. I will say I missed that league. I got into 1 because I was begged by a friend. Out of 12 owners we lost more than half by the half way part of the season. By the team we got to final couple weeks we might have had 3 teams actually setting lineups. And it's the last time I get into a league without fully vetting the rules.
  20. Personally I couldn't care less about pro bowl selections. It's more of a popularity contest. 1 of which he was never going to win because our team has been so bad so he was behind the 8 ball to begin with. More importantly it's great to see that when he got his chance he absolutely ran with it and never looked back relagating demps to the dog house
  21. More than likely Fangio is gone as well so that doesn't work out. I just have a hard time seeing someone come in to be the OC unless it's guaranteed for more than 1 yr
  22. Exactly. Can't expect any OC willing to sign on if fox is on his last yr of his deal. So if we want to replace the OC you have 2 options. Extend fox or fire him. And there's no justifiable reason to extend him at this point
  23. Just a simple hell no for me. He's a master at mediocre seasons. So while that's a hell of a lot better than we have now that's not exactly the ceiling I'm looking at

    Kyle Long

Ok o misunderstood then. My bad. I'm not entirely sure what he's got left on his contract. But personally I want to give him 2018 and if it's another yr just like the last couple yrs then I'd think long and hard about cutting him
