No way you can blame Knox for that Pic, look at it again the ball was way over his head and he was fully strectched out.

Knox will not go over 100 yards receiving. I say this because Forte and Olsen will have good days.

Seattle injuries that could be big
Wallace isn't a bad QB he just can't carry a team by his arm. He can beat you by his legs though, which we have struggled with scrambling QB's in the past and the Def has to be on their toes.

Great play breakdown for Cutler and Knox
Very nice locker room. We enjoyed it.

PERSONAL APOLOGY TO TERRA T
Thanks for stepping up and apologizing.

Bears Answer Back
This great to hear him firing back but being respectful though in the same sentence. He has showed us for a while that he can lead by example out on the field and last week he definetely came to play as he was always around the ball and flying around every where and now he is being the "Mike Brown" that we have been looking for. For all the crap that we gave him about him holding out and everything all will be forgotten if he helps this defense get back to be that top 10 Defense even without Urlacher. That would be quite an accomplishment considering that last year we were ranked 25th.

Has there been a Jarron Gilbert Sighting?
I have kind of wondered the same thing. With as much as we rotate our guys around you would have thought we would have seen him by now.

Wonder if theres any relation
I never agree with TT but I have to on this one. He didn't say anything at all that could possibly be taken offensive. It was just a bad joke nothing more nothing less. Just let it go.

Consider me uninformed
Great post. I didn't feel. That was a good off season for us because we got Daniels and Big Ted Washington, and although those 2 never put up the stats that we all expecting they helped solidify the line and it kept the Oline from getting to our LB's so if you look at it Urlacher probably had his best seasons with those 2 guys on that line.

Looking ahead to Seattle
I would love to get 19 straight wins in the season against sorry little 3rd stringers that can carry my jock strap.

Looking ahead to Seattle
Since when is W meaningless in a football season. There is no such thing. I will take a W any way I can get it. Doesn't matter if there entire team is 3rd string I will still take a W, it gets you one step closer to the playoffs, which is our focus every year is it not.

Invasion Of The Body Catchers
I would expect Harris to step up his game within the next couple of games. Remember on knock on Harris is that with as good as he is he tends to "disappear" for a couple of games b4 going ballistic.

Knox for Rookie of the Week
I am wondering, Does anyone know the specifics of the trade as it stands today. I know we got Cutler and the 5th rounder was Knox.

Off Topic: New Bears Fan
If you were a snot nosed 14-15 yr old back then, how old does that make you now. I think I would have done the same thing if I was in your shoes. My wife is a fan and since we met she has at least paid attention to the game and does know about some of the players but she is far from being DIE HARD like some of us crazy people lol. You all know who you are. I do. congrats once again. I can still remember when Pixote told me about the site about 4 years ago now I think it was. Hard to believe but I am still here and most of you have seen me get married and have 1 child with another one on the way. I can't say I enjoy every minute listening to the posts especially last year with NFO and CDog. lol.

News on Pisa???
Great point NFO. From all that I have read is what I have been questioning myself for a while. I have been wondering can Romo actually win a big game. To Jerry Jones the biggest game outside of the SB was the grand opening of his 1.2 bil mansion and he played badly while getting completely outplayed and outsmarted against Eli Manning. Romo has proved to be a good to very good QB in the 1st half of the season and then fizzle away in the 2nd half especially in December. Rex Grossman even has more wins in the postseason that Romo does. Romo is extremely overrated in Fantasy because most draft him to be an elite QB and he isn't. He just a good QB who will have the occasional game where he looks amazing.

Great point. Tony Romo had a worse QB rating against his divison rival and you don't see the media clamoring all over him. I have said since the year he took over for Bledsoe that he is the most overrated QB in the league.

Giants props to....
Your absolutely right, I wouldn't want to rush this kid but he seems to play with a chip on his shoulder because he put up such great numbers in college that most teams overlooked him just because it was a D2 school. If he puts up even near the kind of numbers that he did at a top school he would go either 1st or 2nd round at the latest. The best thing that I love about this kid though is that he just wants to play. His attitude is amazing to go along with all the attributes that make defensive coordinators sweat at night.

For once, I agree with carol sleazak
Great point. I have no problem with the play calling, as we did exactly what we needed to in order to win. This isn't college football. You don't points for how well you play. The only thing that matters in the end is who got the W. It was also pointed out in an article that I posted on here that the Steelers would bring more blitzes hoping to "so called hide" the 2 safeties that played in place of Troy P. They are decent at best but have no where near the play recognition ability that Troy does.

News on Pisa???
Actually it was a sprained PCL and the time from was 2-4 weeks. I don't expect to see him until we return in Week 6. That will give him 5 weeks to rest up. Our LB's showed during the 2nd half of the GB game and the entire game against Pitt that they aren't horrible and is one reason why we are not going to go after Brooks. This week we get Seattle and we should do well there considering all the injuries that they have suffered so far but we are still playing in Seattle, which is always tough and then next week we get Detroit, which is still Detroit. Everyone complains about Cutler but no one talks about who Stafford is the worst rated QB in the league or how Rodgers has been sacked the most times in the league so far(10) and Favre is right behind him in that same category(7)

Looking ahead to Seattle
Your right. I don't count on Hasselbeck to play cuz I would hate to see the team put his career in jeopardy and they would do that by playing him. Its obvious that he won't play. McNabb suffered a very similar injury in Week 1 and he didn't play in Week 2 and rumor has it that it is highly unlikely that he will play this week. Maybe part of that is because Kolb actually played pretty decent for the most part.

Something to ponder
The announcers during the game said that the 97 yard drive was the longest Touchdown drive that the Steelers D has given up in 3 years. That is saying something. There D has been great the past couple of years.

Giants props to....
Actually I will kindly disagree with your assessment that we don't have a true #1. I will agree that we don't have that go to guy right now however in time I believe like Pixote and myself have been saying is that Knox will be that #1 guy. Also I have to give a shout out to JA for believing in the WR corp that we have and not going out and getting a guy. Looks like he was right in his assessment about the group and they are starting to turn heads in the NFL.

Great point about Forte. The 3-4 defense is designed to take away a teams ability to run effectively. Now we go back to facing 4-3 defenses in the next 2 weeks with Seattle and then the Lions.
