Damn does Glennon look really good today. That's a good start and hopefully a sign of things to come. But damn don't like cam going down. I've never liked the wr core anyway

Anyone have any suggestions on where to find cheat sheets for a 2 QB league. I think it's a 12 team. I feel like I'm so screwed as the draft snuck up on me and it drafts Tuesday

No big deal pix we can try again next yr.

There is no sure fire recipe to succeed otherwise we would have found at least a couple guys in the past 100 years yet here we are. Personally I'm ok with putting out the rookie QB right away in the game but only under very unique situations unless your forced to like Dallas was with Dak last yr. I need to know that the team has a solid OL to make sure he ain't going to get his brains beat in. 2) needs a good run game to help take as much pressure off him the best you can and 3) most importantly you need coaching staff who can ensure a good solid game plan. You don't want that rook going out and throwing the ball 50 times a game as that's a recipe for disaster. Now with all that we've got it although I've got my reservations about the oline because we honestly don't know if this will be good or not because we haven't been able to stay healthy. Now because of that I would want Glennon take the 1st 4 games. If he's doing baby but the oline is doing well with the running game we do have then I'd be ok with going trubisky

Honestly I'm not a fan of this signing at all. No way are going into next yr looking for a LT even if he does poorly again. That money guarantees he sticks around. I hate signing guys who have done nothing in there careers to long term contract because you "hope" he plays well. That's poor business. With all that said I want to see how exactly is this deal written up. And if he does badly how quickly can we get out of it. If it's similar to how Cutler's deal was originally before we signed Jared Allen then I can deal with that. Originally that deal had all the guarantee up front so technically we could have cut after 2 yrs without it killing us. The problem was we wanted Allen but in order to get him we had to get cutler to rework his deal. Which then gave him more guarantee which prolonged the agony

I'm not entirely sure how it works but I think you can only designate 1 or 2 players with it while everyone else goes in season ending ir

I reached out to a buddy of mine. He said he is going to check his schedule and get back to me. He's in 5 already
-
In a perfect world tru doesn't play this yr. My sense is he will be back up for 1st 4 or 6 games then he takes over. Hopefully for good
-
I didn't get the invite until after I posted I was leaving. Sorry guys. But I really should save my cash although it ain't much. I really did enjoy the last 10 years with you guys.

He played ok. It was tough to judge him because of how bad his oline was and the play calling was ridiculous IMO. Kept calling runs instead of letting him do what he can do. He did throw the game winning TD though and did lead us on another FG try that agueyo just missed by a mile and might have been the worst try I've seen in a long time where the snap and placement were good
-
That has got to be 1 of ugliest kicks I've seen in a long time by argueyo. Not even close and no height on kick at all.
-
I honestly think the refs made the right call on that one. To me if appeared his knee was down just before the ball came loose. I will concede that none of the shots I saw were conclusive for sure

Got to love that up to this point everyone has agreed we have a good front 7 and we have seen the front 7 look good. Palmer never looked comfortable back there at all. But unfortunately if the front 7 can't get home then our secondary is going to get lit up. Constantly leaving guys open. Fuller got pass PB that looked like borderline pass interference.

I love the 1-2 punch that I think Howard and Cohen can bring. Just thinking of the possibility of Howard and the offense softening up the dline and then Cohen breaking of that 40-50 yd Run or catch. It does appear that Cohen has great hands out of the back field. Then you got Carey who is a solid contributer and a great special teams player. Want to see more of Cunningham but he did look like he had that burst
-
I'm starting to think your right after I heard last night he suffered another injury. Considered to be minor except he won't play tonight
-
Up to this point I've still heard nothing and can no longer even get into the league. Saying that I'm not a member. It's been a good run but it's time for me to drop out.
-
I will let you know before the game starts on Sat
-
Yes he missed all of last yr but don't remember what for
-
I really want to see what Wheaton can do but if he can't get healthy here soon he's gone I think. So is bellamy
-
Honestly who knows for sure what we have for an oline. Health is the big key there I think
-
Your absolutely right. If he turns into a franchise QB no one will even flinch at the cost to move up 1 spot. In this league that's the most important position right now. If you have 1 then you have a shot every yr if you don't then good luck
-
Let's keep in mind though that Carey is a pretty good special teams player. Go back and check that hit he had in the game.
-
Thanks. Unfortunately due to my job most of the stress of on the fiance. I help out where I can
-
Yeah I read the same thing about his mechanics and that's pretty damning. Saw that several teams were interested in him but none pulled the settings because of the guarantee
-
Thank you. Exactly my point
