  1. Couldn’t agree more. His play was pathetic. Not getting more pressure on the QB and the least creative offensive play calling I’ve seen in years is on these worthless coaches.
  2. Most of the low/high pass numbers were dictated by circumstance. Low-Gains needs to be fired.
  3. I’d add that keeping Trubisky in the pocket all day doesn’t really play to his strengths.
  4. Based on the results thus far does Pace deserve to be fired? Loggains? Fox? Glennon alone makes me a yes on Pace. And the way he got ass-mastered in moving up one pick. Fox is also already a yes for me but tough to judge him given the injuries we’ve seen. Loggains is gone. Unless Trubisky really blossoms under him which I don’t foresee. The kid is good but not good enough to make this clown look any better than John Shoop.
  5. I didn’t think any QB could make me miss Cutler. God he sucks.
  6. The way the question is framed the answer is Howard. I'm writing off this season so for me the answer to the bigger question is Trubisky getting experience.
  7. Guess I'm not the only one disappointed in our cutting Langford. Really feel he could spell Howard when needed while all these little backs are ok for a change of pace but not capable of playing three downs.
  8. Interesting that Fox switched things up for Thursday. Trubisky gets the start. Probably meaningless as to who starts week 1 but it'll give him more time with the starters before the season begins.
  9. I'm all for starting the season with Tru or going to him after a few games. He's putting up 7+ yards per attempt while Glennon is at 5.5. You can say he had easier defenses and you'd be right but I think getting him the most experience in his first year possible is going to be great for his future growth. Worked for Peyton. We mortgaged the future to get him, get him on the field! And Glennon's deal is really a one year. They overpaid for him but didn't exactly show a lot of confidence. We understand that now.
  10. Pace looks like smartest guy on the planet for Trubisky and a dumbshit for Glennon. What to make of it? Nothing in preseason game one. But if this continues and the results are consistent with what we've seen so far? Head scratcher.
  11. I get the feeling Cutler's Bears career is over unless Hoyer is injured.
  12. Offense under Low-gains is lousy. D secondary stinks. Major improvement needed or we're 6-10 this year.
  13. Agree. But with all the guys we signed I think cuts had to be made. Just don't understand Slauson being one of the first.
  14. LT's don't fall out of the sky. And without a good one the entire line is in jeopardy. Particularly with a question mark at center. We've made progress but there's work to be done.
  15. My son was considering both Ohio State and Michigan State so I watched both of these games this year. He OWNED both teams and I forgot all about him until the Bears made the pick. This is one hell of a seventh round pick! Pace got good value all weekend with almost every pick. If these guys fit Fangio's mold this will jumpstart the D and fill a few holes on O. I'm happy with the draft.
  16. I don't know enough about the players in the draft beyond the few teams I follow so you won't see me pretending to contribute on draft weekend. But I just want to thank you guys for making it more fun. There's a lot of knowledge and passion here and I appreciate it. Go Bears!!!
  17. How did I know this was going to be your take on it? LOL! I'm disappointed he's not going to finish out his career here but understand the move given the fall from grace the RB position has taken over the years, particularly for guys over 30. But yeah, if Langford goes down in the third game of the year or isn't the guy we all think he can be, I'm sure we'll hear a lot of "I told you so" out of you.
  18. No question. He's a class act and I'm sad to see him go elsewhere.
  19. I'd like to see Chico get his ring as a head coach. Always thought he got shafted by the Bears and Lovie.
  20. Agree. A rookie in that spot with a guard he should've been playing next too moved out to tackle just prior to the first regular season game of the year... He wasn't bad. Needs to step up in year 2 but so do most rookies. I'll give him an A for effort and a C+ for results.
  21. You're correct. I recall someone posting some stats that he graded out as the #1 tackle at some point early in the season. With that said, I'm with Jason. If we can find a solid tackle in the draft or FA I'd move Long back inside. IN A HEARTBEAT.
  22. Good point. But he's also got a lot of catches over the years.
