Kyle will be back, based on the progress he showed during the year. We do need to have a viable candidate to challenge him in TC. FA? Draftee? Don't know. But yea, I don't think that QB is the top priority need on this team. WRs and OL and a replacement for Brown are, IMdO.

I think people tend to bring up the negatives before anything else. Heck, when we went to the Super Bowl there were tons of negative psot prior to the game. There are positives from the season, but I can't look at thems until tomorrow. This loss was heartless and, again, it seems the team did not come to play. The lack of fire/desire to do what it takes to win these close games is damning. Lovie needs to get some grit!

Not attacking you kyyle23, but those that would say the team did a good job considering the prognosticator's outlook. If the team really thought they wouldn't make it when the season started, then I'm very disappointed. We had shots all through the season and stupid mistakes caused looses that were within our grasp.

This loss makes the season a disappointment. And I was, and will be, waiting for the rationalizations that we didn't have a snowball's chance from day one. We were right in it up to this game and the team did not show up. It is embarrassing.

The lack of fire in this team pisses me off!
-
We just never turned into a solid D that stops teams on third down or gets take-aways and scores. And you know what else hurts? The Queens are probably going to lose!
-
Shite! We had the ball on the Texans' 39 and got nothing. This team is not playoff worthy.
-
Allowing the Texans to move too easily. Blown assignment for a TD? Come on guys. This is the final week, get the assignments down. And letting them march all the way down the field after Maynard drops a great punt is frustrating, again!
-
Agree. Won't be long till the Giants pack it in and play the scrubs.
-
Player-Coach would be great. But I have a hard time seeing Browny liking the idea of having limited participation.
-
I agree. I can't see Gruden losing to Oakland at home with so much at stake. And you know their D will show up for the DC's last regular season game.
-
I see us winning this one 31-24. I think that Orton and Forte will have solid games. I also think that our only hope is for NY to beat Minny, which I think they will. I don't see us squeezing in as a widlcard, cause the Bucs are going to beat up on Oakland.

There was text in that message?!!! I agree with you Connorbear. Resign St. Clair, we can use him as solid depth on the OL. Take a long look at available WRs in FA and bring one in, but don't sell the farm to get him--they just don't do much in our system anyway.

Feliz Navidad!! Be safe!

Now that was low, from a guy who calls his freezing relatives from the 9th tee the day after Christmas!!
-
I know. Bet you had a blast, too! And when we make the playoffs, you can say youo were there when they rubbed it in the Puckers face!
-
Man, how many ways I agree with this Nfo! Lovie led me to believe he was a teacher and could develop talent--putting guys on IR that was, basically, redshirting them. But most never se the field. And then, when I do get to see a game, Lovie looks lost on the sidelines. Maybe it's the camera work, but the Puckers coach made Lovie look like he belonged back in Pee Wees.

Guilty, guilty! I blaim it on old age and far to many commercial breaks. it took an hour and a half to show the first half of the game. It was late, we are three hours ahead of Chicago here. So yeah, I pussed out.
-
Agree totally. It's just so frustrating to watch the D give up third and longs and let teams roll down the field. Then the O come in and sleepwalk through three downs. Lovie has got to get it into his head that the game is FOUR friggin quarters. I'd just like to see them play a full game at their potential.
-
What's frustrating for me is that it seems that Lovie's laid-back, passionless attitude has turned up in the players on the field. Especially the O. I only watched the first half last night--yeah, I know, but it was around 12:30 when I went to sleep--and the O, and Lovie were just sleep walking. And Lovie looked like he had no clue what to do. And forget about his Defensive accumen--how many third and longs did the Puckers make? FRUSTRATING!!! BUt, they won!!!!! That's good. But I hope someone puts some uppers in Lovie's cheerios if we make the playoffs.

To paraphrase Forrest Gump, evil is as evil does! what if it rains the day after Christmas?!!
-
Hey, come on down, and bring the family!! I will say that it is tought to get into the Christmas spirit with weather like this. But then again, it saves $ on Xmas gifts!!
-
Bundle up! And run out on the field with a big Bearstalk sing so I can see you since it will be telvised here! Like bowlingtwig, I'm a puss when it comes to cold weather. It is about 85º here and I'm going to the pool! So you guys have a blast and try to stay warm!

I agree Pix. I think Atlanta will be ready to play and the Giants will be looking for momentum for the playoffs. Now the brain fart element worries me. All boils down to win these final two games of the season and see how it plays out.
