  1. Last year QB's 1. Cutler = gets hurt Hoyer named starter 2. Hoyer - named starter gets hurt 3. Connor Shaw - hurt before season 4. David Fales - never played 5. Matt Barkley - added due to injuries Bears cut Cutler, don't resign Hoyer or Barkley and sign Glennon to a 3 year deal that really is only a 1 year deal if he fails to perform. They still have Connor Shaw. So they add Mark "dirty" Sanchez mister butt fumble to a 1 year deal. I'm sorry but if Pace thinks one of these QB's is a franchise QB he will draft him at 3. Not arguing that pace does think one of these qb's is a franchise qb only that signing Glennon and sanchez does not take qb off the table at 3. Signing Glennon to the type of deal he got only guarantees him a shot at starting to prove he belongs. He is taking a huge risk coming to Chicago to really "make it or break it" and he is being paid really well for taking this risk with the Bears. IF Pace drafts a QB at 3 I would be happy with it, he would in essence be giving the Bears the best opportunity to succeed at the QB position, which we all know is the hardest and most important position. Pace has always said he wants to build through the draft and form a team for sustained success. When you look at teams that have sustained success what do you find almost 100% of the time???? A great QB. Maybe Pace loves a QB he thinks he can get in the 2nd or 3rd round and not one of the top 3. We will find out soon enough. For these reasons I believe a qb 3 is not off the table. At the end of the day Pace really hasn't done anything at the QB position until this year, partly due to Cutlers contract but I'm excited to see changes being made and an honest attempt to get the Bears a franchise QB. If it's true Pace made attempts to trade up for Marriota and Wentz then I think he knows what to look for and will be excited with whoever he drafts.
  2. 2015 He had a great year: http://www.nfl.com/player/adrianpeterson/2507164/careerstats
  3. Not arguing if it was the right move or the wrong move just that it has been done. Also the Seahawks gave Flynn starter money and drafted Wilson in the 3rd. Now drafting Wilson in the 3rd is not the same as the 3rd overall, Ill give you that. Either way, has anyone complained or bitched about the Seahawks giving Flynn too much money????? I dont remember anyone......why???? because they were too busy winning with Wilson to worry about how much money they gave Flynn. The Bears have not gotten the QB situation correct since McMahon.......I honestly dont care what round they draft one, they better start drafting QB's and get this fixed as soon as possible.
  4. St Louis draft Goff number 1 and sat his ass. All I am saying is I understand if the Bears draft a QB at 3 if they think he is the long term solution. To say its crazy talk is unwarranted.
  5. If Pace and company believe one of these QB's has the make up of becoming a Franchise QB they have to take him at 3. Signing Glennon to the deal they signed him to only locks him to the Bears for one year. He knows he has one year to prove he is the guy, one of the reason they paid him so much. I'm hoping we run into the same problem the Chargers had back in the day with Rivers and Brees. Who do you stick with, there was no wrong answer.
  6. https://twitter.com/Hub_Arkush/status/841429978738745345 Hub tweet out about TJ MacDonald .....anyone have thoughts on him?
  7. I have been a fan of most of Paces moves so far. The one that I really have a problem with is letting Alshon leave. Right now the Bears have serious problem at the WR position. This will make Jordan Howards life miserable and Glennon's life miserable. Alshon could have kept defenses honest. Lets pray White is for real and not a bust.
  8. Its pretty sad we have the same problem that the Browns have.....FML
  9. Im sitting here scratching my head................ I think they sold George that this was a 4 to 5 year reboot. Not a quick turnaround and have no worries about losing their job next year. With the way this FA is going I bet you they draft a QB at number 3 if they feel there is a future franchise qb in this draft class.
  10. I dont know who he is either and I typically have ran across most guys through college or nfl.
  11. Yeah, fits a BIG need......still in shock that Alshon left for a 1 year deal worth 14,000,000
  12. pretty sure that he played for the Steelers. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Markus_Wheaton
  13. hahahahaha...... thanks for kicking me in the nuts
  14. I have been fine with most of his moves. I just cant get behind letting Alshon go. Starting WR White - not likely Royal - will he be on team Meredith - this is your number 1?????!!!!!!!! Who is left?????????
  15. freak GLENNON IF YOU HAVE NO WR"S!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! why even sign a QB.
  16. https://www.instagram.com/p/BRbSuCnhkOo/?taken-by=kylelong75 Check out the Kyle Long Instagram post. I guess Cutler lead in his own way. It had to end and it does suck the Bears and Cutler were not able to get it done.
  17. Voted Draft a QB First Round. But i would sign Hoyer if we did that .
  18. I love how you come up with many excuses for Hoyer but wont admit Cutler had many things stacked against while in Chicago. Im on the Watson train with you, I think he will be special. He is a winner, leader and big game gamer. Hope you get your way and the Bears draft him.... Hey then you and I can be on the same side for once! lol
  19. Interested in hearing about Watson's performance
  20. anyone know when the QB's are throwing? Or if they already have?
  21. Wonder if BM will keep to his words????? http://www.nfl.com/news/story/0ap300000050...be-my-last-team
  22. Can the Hoodie control the mouth........If anyone can it would be the Hoodie. I would bet the Pats Locker room could keep him in check as well.
  23. He is an actual Bears reporter that is at Halas Hall for press deals?
  24. Who is Aaron Lemming ? If I remember correctly he is a guy that knows someone on the inside at Halas Hall and a few years back he broke a couple leads that came true. Does he have any other background tied to the NFL? I have followed his twitter feed and deleted it because he doesn't know what he is talking about. I am asking this to see if anyone knows his background and not to dismiss his off season plan.
