Lavar, Are you really trying to compare two NFL QB's rushing stats from High school to validate your claim that Cutler was a rushing QB? I know my reading comprehension isn't the best but that's how your post reads. Screw any stat you can find, just watch the game film of both QB's while in the NFL. One was a "drop back, first read wasn't open look to run" the other was "drop back, run when all else failed". Cutler in the NFL is a mobile QB that only ran when he had to. Now in High school he may have ran first, but with an arm like Cutler's I doubt that was the case.

If it were up to me I would FIRE Ted Phillips and work my way down once I hired a REAL Team President. Let a REAL FOOTBALL GUY decide who stays and who goes. If I have to predict what the Bears do I say Pace stays and Fox goes, but who knows.

Two questions, 1. Did the Bears ever use Cutler like Denver did the year before he was traded to the Bears. If you forgot Cutler made the Pro Bowl that year. 2. Do you know how many times Cutler was sacked that same year? Once you look that up compare that to his time in Chicago. Only reason I ask to show that there is SOME correlation to oline and qb play......unless you are Aaron Rodgers (but we all know Cutler is NO Rodgers) then that notion gets thrown out the window.

With your description of of Fisher I was reminded of a different HC......take a guess who Im talking about. Hint....... almost won two SB's. always has good Coordinators working for him, teams typically play good Defense, set up the Bronco's to win a SB the following year he was fired and he is the current HC of the Chicago Bears......

To add to your comment......Rodgers has hid the fact that GB is not that good of a TEAM without him. Ted Thompson is getting ripped apart for the roster he has built.

Trubisky was Pace's guy....He got his guy. The rest doesn't matter. It's done, if Pace was right he will go down in the history books as the GM that finally figured out the QB position for the Bears. If he was wrong....someone else already said he wont get another GM job.

Move Ted to some small corner office in the basement and let me him count the money. Because the Bears have a weak owner they need a strong a President. Get ready for Alshon to catch 3 to 4 TD's against the Bears this weekend. Im picturing a Cedriic Benson type performance. I was actually at that game in Cincy. I think he went off for 150-175 with 2 or 3 TD's.
