I hope Bruckner or Hargraves drop to us. Would rather the first round pick be able to play in 100% of the packages vs 60%.
-
To play the DE in the base 3/4 and the DT in the Nickel?
-
I don't know, I think he may be gone too, especially if Myles drops. I was screwing around on NFL.com with their Predict the Draft. It really hurts that Jaylon Smith is dropping. The Bears are about 1 to 2 picks away from the top tier players. Someone will have to draft someone early out of left field for the bears to get one of the big defensive players.

He held up his fingers to show what he thought was close....lol

http://www.chicagobears.com/multimedia/vid...d5-70189b6de3f0 Figured everyone would like this video as we have debated BPA vs drafting a player of need. If Pace loves a guy and he is there, it looks like they will take BPA. Would love to see their draft board! Also said if the guys that are left when they pick are all close they would probably go with a need player. Here is another video longer (full) : http://www.chicagobears.com/multimedia/vid...8e-50ea191cf30e

Lemmings as in Aaron Leming the twitter guy?

The Pats will proably go 3-1 or 2-2 without Tom Brady. Brady will then come back pissed off and go undefeated the rest of the year. You heard it here first. So over this deflategate, its a complete load of crap. Tom brady should have just gave them the phone and this would be over by now.

Kind of similar to not wanting to agree with "The best rated player gives you the best chance to beat the odds". It's simple the best rated players are the best rated players for a reason 1. There game film proves they are great at football 2. Their combine results confirm they are great athletes. If they have the mental side of it down they will be ranked very high. I understand why you dont want the Bears to draft EZ. I am actually hoping one of the big LT's drops to us. I would rather the Bears finally draft a LT that can hold down that side of the line for the next 10 years. All Im saying is if both of the LT's are gone and the top D players have been drafted I would be good with EZ. It looks like Bill Polian the hall of fame football guru agrees with me that this kid will be great. commenting on the Peyton manning = if you remember there were a lot of people saying Leaf had a higher ceiling and would be better than Manning in the NFL. Polian clearly made the right choice. Polian is in the hall of fame, how many other GM or front office guys are in the Hall of Fame??? He put together the Bills and got the Panthers to the SB in year 2 of their franchise......Think about that, in year two of being created they went to the SB with the team Polian drafted and signed. Is there a guy with a better resume???

Manning #1 Edge #4 Morris #28 Wayne #30 Freeny #11 Clark #24 Sanders #44 (2nd round) Jackson #29 Addai #30 Only 3 were in the top 11. The rest were all late first round picks, almost 2nd round picks. So Polian was 100% on guys picked in the top 11. I would say he did pretty well. Ill take 100% when drafting in the top 11.

You dont want to answer the question and I understand why. But lets use Bill Polians (hall of fame) ratings. Everyone can agree that he knows what hes doing. Would you agree that his higher rated players have a higher odds of beating the 50/50? If we are talking about the Bears of the past, rating system I would bet we could come up with a better draft board. So far I like Pace and think he has drafted well so far.
-
Higher rated player has a better chance of performing well in the NFL, would you agree?
-
Jason just hates the idea of drafting a RB because that he means the Bears wouldn't draft a LT! lol https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NVNMRLAs-U0
-
The Bears clearly feel there is still a need at RB (they went hard after CJ Anderson). Since there is a 50/50 crap shoot why draft anyone????? Why draft a LT.....there is 50/50 odds. Your argument against drafting EZ because there is 50/50 odds can be applied to any draft choice. Some people think Leno will be fine, so if Stanley drops to us why draft him, there is a 50/50 odd that he doesn't pan out. Some people think we are OK with Porter and Fuller at CB, what if Ramsey drops to us.....why draft him 50/50. Some people think we are ok at DE with the Hicks signing....... Bruckner drops to us.....why draft him 50/50 Get where Im going with this...... The better rated a player is the better chances of hitting. Its plain and simple. Polian rates EZ as the Best....... I see it as he has the best chance of beating the odds.

http://www.nfldraftscout.com/ratings/dspro...7&genpos=RB http://nflcombineresults.com/playerpage.php?i=7759 http://insider.espn.go.com/nfl/draft/playe...adrian-peterson Not sure if these are right but that is where I got my info https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Marshall_Faulk it says 4.28 and 4.35......why I said he was a 4.3 guy...... 4.28.....4.3.....same thing
-
Faulk was a 4.3 guy. AP is a 4.4 guy.......EZ is a 4.4 guy
-
Bill Polian has him ranking as the BEST prospect......The number #1 ranked player. I didnt know he ranked him so high until someone posted it here. How would drafting him be shocking??? I would love to have a AP or LT ype running back for the next 8 years. I dont see him dropping to us anyways so you wont have to be upset.
-
I think he would be a great pick at 11 if he makes it there.
-
Michael Haynes- also drafted Sexy Rexy that year when they traded back from the 4th spot
-
Does anyone have a list of last years pre draft meetings?? Would love to see who the bears visited with and who they ended up drafting and who was still there when they drafted. I have a very hard time believing anyone knows who any team is strongly considering. If someone from the Bears did leak that info Pace would freak out. The only reason to leak any bullshit is to get other teams thinking you want someone different, which why would any team really believe any info coming out on another team.
-
You cant count me in on him as well. If he fell to the 2nd I would love getting him there. Almost a repeat of last year getting Goldman in the second, projected 1st rounder in the 2nd.
-
His size, speed and athletic ability are clearly at a TOP Tier level. Lets all pray he puts it all together and becomes a dominate force in the NFL
-
If Stanley makes it to 11 you HAVE to take him.
-
Schedule looks a lot nicer then last year. Not a fan of the home games this year, hey maybe we will have a better home record.
-
WOW!! Good for the Titans. Good luck Rams!! The Rams clearly love one of the QB's. Wonder if the Browns were in love with the same guy. It is definitely better for us. I think this ensures at least 2 QB's maybe 3 will go before we draft. All we need is 1 or 2 more teams to draft someone out of left field and maybe we have a could of options!

Ive been telling everyone that we have two 1st round picks this year. I hope White is special. He has all the tools you could ever want in a WR.
