Thoughts on MJ being the GOAT of basketball? The game is very different era to era. Its one of the reasons even before this SB victory that I thought Brady was the best Qb of all time. What he has done without a Jerry Rice type WR is amazing(he did have Randy Moss for a couple of seasons but if I remember correctly it was 2 seasons). He has never had a Terry Bradshaw Steeler defense or Lyn Swan WR or Franco Harris RB. He has had good talent around him but no Hall of Famer counterparts, Gronk will be a hall of famer but other then that maybe Weds Welker (not sure tho). He has always had guys around him that he makes look really good.

Im reading this as SF trading their number 2 pick to NE for Jimmy G. Then picking a RB. I dont see this happening, one I dont see SF giving up their number 2 pick and I dont see NE trading up to the #2 spot and taking a RB, I cant remember them ever drafting a RB high, they usually find lower tier RB and make great use of them.

Ill trust Polian's take on QB's. Small note tho, Luck was drafted a year after Polian was gone from Indy. I wouldnt mind a run at both McCarron or Garrapolo for the the right price, definitely not the 3rd overall.

3rd would be a amazing. For that reason I see the the Bears winning and everyone else close losing. Its what the Bears do so well. Maybe another 3 or 4 guys can hit the IR and make this impossible.

I'm with you on this if it was up to me they all stay. With Fox most likely on the hot seat going into next season we will see another example of what happened to Lovie. Lovie could not get a good OC to come on board because everyone knew he could be fired at the drop of a hat. Who wants to come in for a year and have to pick up and move again. That is the reason we got Martz and then Tice.

I said QB and LT. Reason being long term sustainable success is pretty much dictated by having a franchise QB and protecting that QB.

I love what Fangio has done with our D and would hate to see that screwed up. The Browns fire their coaching staffs every 2 years, I do not want to see the Bears turn into the Browns. He would look like most rookie qb's playing on a weak NFL team. He is having a great, but don't forget the AMAZING Oline in front of him and the great RB and WR and TE they have around him.

I agree with you, this team is better than most think. Injuries and poor start of the season and this season could be totally different.

If the McCaskeys don't do this I think they should sell the Bears to someone else. Ted Phillips must suck some really good "you know what" to still be around. His track record is terrible. Think about Ted's record as the CEO, he was named ceo in 1999. Under Ted Phillips 1. Hires Jerry Angelo - I feel a terrible GM 2. Builds a stadium that is now the 2nd smallest in the 3rd largest market, while soon after completion of the new stadium everyone else starts building mega stadiums 3. 18 seasons as CEO with 4 playoff trips - NO SB wins, 1 trip to the SB - with the Bears D under Lovie the Bears should have done a lot better 4. Emery hire - enough said 5. Trestman hire over Bruce Arians 6. Trestman Hire = enough said 7. Hires Ernie to tell him and George who to hire as the next GM - this man needs to hire another man to do his job because when he does his job he picks a guy like Emery. WTF There is a lot more I could say but don't want to puke. Its time George figures it out, they need a guy Like Bill Polian to run the football side of things. Give him TOTAL control of everything related to FOOTBALL. I personally think a team of Pace and Polian would be great, also just think of the other guys Polian would bring in to make their front office one of the best in the business.

I agree, or can we get gase back as HC!!! I know that will never happen, I would have taken Gase and Fangio but did like the idea of our HC having actual HC experience.
