Made my day watching Rodgers throw a pick to end the game.....Love seeing them lose. Now lets see a good showing by the Bears. I need Melvin Gordan to get me 20 points and Malcom Floyd to get me 13 and I win my FF week and take over sole possession of 1st place. So I would love to see a high scoring game with a Bears W. I will say taking a Bears loss is a little easier this year knowing it was a rebuilding year. So Im still rooting for victories but am ok with close games and losses. Love getting better draft picks when not making the playoffs.

Gase could easily get a HC this off season and just as easily not. If you fix Cutler you will get offers, how soon we will find out this off season. Hopefully he wont take the first one offered, if I were him I would be selective with which job I took. No reason to take the Browns (just using a job I wouldn't take as an example) job if it opened up. He has already shown the willingness to not take a job if it wasn't the right fit. I hope the Bears get 2 or 3 years with Gase, 3 seems to me to be pushing it but I can hope.

I agree with you on the Bears handled the Ratliff situation correctly. I can see how some will say the Bears were wrong for signing him. I don't see a problem with it, at that point he wasn't charge with anything and was counter seeing one of the girls. Im sure the Bears did an extensive amount of research before signing him. They cut his ass as soon as he hosed up again. As for the cowgirls, Jerry applauds Dez Bryant when he acts like an idiot on the sidelines....Chalks it up to be ultra competitive, treating Hardy in the same regard. I was surprised Jerry defended Hardy on his interview comments, that was plain stupid.

Ive been watching Bears game every Sunday since 1980. For me last years team had the most talent on paper with the worst performance. I have been through many shitty years since 1980 but I cant remember a team having so much talent on one side of the ball and look like complete assholes.

Trestman really had no clue how to run a team. He had no business being the HC. I get that he was a good OC, but even his OC stints never worked well for more then 1 or 2 years. He won up in Canada going against a sub par competition in regards to other coaches. Emery really screwed himself, had he offered Bruce the job Emery may still be the GM of the Bears. I imagine the new regime handled the Ratliff situation like they did with BM. If the players had spoken against Ratliff he would have been cut. Kyle Long was on the score yesterday and spoke about Ratliff, he said he was always a great teammate, Long also said he learned a lot from Ratliff. He said it was unfortunate to see him go but hopes he gets the help he needs. The only thing I can come up with is that BM had very little support from teammates and Ratliff did or they couldn't get anything in return for Ratliff and figured he could help mentor the young guys.

I cant wait either. I am soooooooooooooo sick of every GB fan, having lived in WI i have many GB friends and cant wait till the day Rodgers is done playing. I enjoy watching him because he really is insane but its all ruined by the big mouth GB fans. I guess I would be the same if Rodgers played for us. I am a ND fan as well! Jaylon Smith is a freak athlete. He is listed at 6'3 240 lbs. I will say he doesnt look like a 240 LB, he doesnt have an ounce of fat on him so that may be why. I would think Fangio could do some great stuff with Jaylon.

Looking at the Rogers case it would look like the best thing to do is sit a rookie QB for 1 to 2 years. Let him learn the system and coach him up on technique. With the amount of spread offenses in college this is probably more true then ever. \ Take Baylor for example, they call a play and the team lines up, then everyone turns to the sideline and gets any audible that are being called. The coaches read what the defense is showing and makes the calls. The QB does very little pre snap reads. Its one of the knocks on RG3, some of these spread QB's will need time to develop, more so then QB's playing in pro style offenses. I think if Cutler performs well for the entire season the Bears could have a Packers type situation where they sit a rookie QB for 2 years before having him play. Maybe the Bears can bring in some Defensive talent through FA (they will have a lot of cap space) allowing them to take a QB early, if they think they have special QB they can draft.
