  1. Tweeted out that White will start practicing!!!!!!!
  2. Being a ND fan I had hoped Pickles panned out as a good backup. The guy really was a good college QB. I never would have thought he was as bad as turned out to be. I suggest you guys watch the next ND game and watch Jaylon Smith, he plays Linbacker and is a beast, possible Bears draft pick depending on where they draft
  3. Aaron Lemming tweeted that the Bears cut two players and brought up Fales leaving one roster spot open........ Could it mean we may see the 7th overall draft pick of the Bears???? The only way he is playing is if he is 100% and in some type of game shape. Cant really expect a whole lot but maybe he can open up some routes by being a deep threat.
  4. You are right in that he moved to the right. The pocket opened up to the right, Cutler stepped up and to the right at the same time Marianni came open going left. It wasnt a designed roll out, the play just developed to the right with the pass rush. As far as locking on to option 1 Im not sure how you can tell who option 1 2 and 3 are and if he locked onto only 1 option. It looked to me like he was looking at multiple people through out the play but because he was flushed to the right he didnt see the wide open Marianni.
  5. I meant that the 2nd was not a INT but a fumble, we are on the same page there. Cutler also missed a great match up of Ward and Bennett in the redzone on a 2nd down play. Ward had single coverage on the 6'6 Bennett on a wheel route. Cutler went to Langford with an incomplete pass. I sit in the southwest corner of the stadium and saw the play develop. A high lofted pass to Bennett could have easily been caught by Bennett. QB's miss reads, miss throws every game, the trick is shaking it off and not letting it affect the rest of your play, Cutler has been good at it this year.
  6. I have been a backer of Cutler for a long, everyone knows that especially you. After last year I admitted that I was done backing him until he improved. He has improved. It still doesn't take away from my argument that Cutler was not helped in any manner by the Bears. The funny thing is I have said with a good scheme (coaching), good oline play, decent weapons Cutler could win here. This year, oline is not good, most of the weapons are hurt and Cutler has still played well. The coaching is there although Gase was a little conservative yesterday. The one INT was a WHY DID YOU THROW THAT BALL, this is one of the first head scratcher for me this season. The second fumble was a great play by a PRO BOWL OLB, one I would like to see signed by the Bears! Note that I heard on the score today. Cutler was visibly upset with things on the sideline, at one point he threw the ipad they look at on the sidelines. A lot of people think he never shows emotion or that he doesn't care. He is showing emotion, and you can see that he does care.
  7. Surprised he lasted this long, especially after the Sea performance were he couldn't throw a 5 yard out route.
  8. A Bears victory against GB will make my season. I will have my uncle from GB at my house for the game, it would be great to watch the Bears beat them with him there to talk a little shit.
  9. Yeah, since there literally has been little to no info on White I don't see him suiting up this year. We will know tomorrow.I was really hoping to get a glimpse of him this year. Didn't expect much from him even if he did play with missing so much time. It would be nice to see a full strength offensive unit on Thursday. It would make my season to see Cutler light up GB and win up in their country.
  10. Couldn't have said it better myself......... agreed 100000000000%
  11. Meaningless draft picks was the true problem. With Pace we can only hope he continues to draft well, so there wont be many meaningless first round draft picks.
  12. I get what you are saying as far as not winning.Especially with losses like yesterday, close should of could of wins that end up being losses. Im rooting my ass off for the Bears to win every game but looking big picture and long term losses means better draft picks. Pace's first draft looks pretty good so I will assume the next one will only be better. The Bears need talent everywhere and the higher the draft pick typically means the higher caliber of talent. Even with the talent gap the Bears have they are very close. I dont think the Bears need as much as I thought before this year. Before this season I thought the Bears needed a major overhaul, I dont think that is the case. With the Bears cap space and Pace drafting I think the Bears can easily be playoff contenders next year.
  13. Cutler is a completely different QB this year. His pocket management is night and day different from years past. He is under constant pressure and extends plays by moving around the pocket creating passing lanes. His decision making has been way better then years past. He still makes mistakes, but all QB's do, at the same time he still makes amazing throws. He still makes a lot of plays with his legs. I loved the play he ran for the big gain were the Broncos thought he was going to slide but he put his head down and kept running. He is out there fighting his ass off, visually we are seeing more leadership out of him on the sidelines. He is has done everything I would want out of him. Spiegal on the score said a funny comment about Cutler, He is said Cutler has made chicken salad out of chicken crap. You actually are very unlucky, Cutler has played so well that he will be around next year for sure. Im sure it sucks watching the Bears having to watch the most important position be a guy you hate so much.
  14. Denver has the the highest ranked defense in the NFL. The Bears clearly lacking talent on the D and injury plagued on the O should have won that game. I said it when he went for it on 4th that it was too early but I like being aggressive, I cant hold that against Fox. The Bears were a little off, its happens just look at GB the last 3 weeks. Cutler called a draw on the 2pt, from the picture Adam posted had Benett blocked Ward Langford had a chance to get in to tie it up. This team fights till there is double 0's on the clock, very different from last year. Even after getting a little more excited about possibly making the playoffs after last week I am still happy with the Bears. The Bears were without their two best Offensive weapons with Forte and Alshon out, not to mention Royal was out as well. Those three guys play and its a different game. Hopefully they can suit up this thursday!
  15. If I remember correctly the knock on him was his knees and strength. I would hope he has gotten stronger since college. The knees, you are right. He is a young kid, hope he is healthy because he was a good center and leader for Bama.
  16. LOL!!! Why did you have to remind me!!!!!!
  17. Our remaining schedule does look a lot better then our first half of games. funny I would have predicted wins over DET and Min and losses to KC and SD before the season started. The only reason I would say DEN and GB are winnable is because they both have played so poorly the last few weeks. One thing I know is Rodgers always seems to play his ass off against the Bears. If history tells us anything Cutler usually plays like crap and Rodgers plays lights out. Maybe this is the year Cutler and the Bears finally go out and beat GB. It would literally make my NFL season. Making the playoffs would take a 2010 performance like the Packers, which I don't see happening. Cutler can really silence a lot of people with two good performances against DEN and GB.
  18. Can I ask how you know where Barrett Jones is with regard to Health and performance on the PS? I haven't been able to find any info on him, not sure if his injury is the type that can heal or a continued problem. If his knees are shot and never going to be able to recover then its safe to assume he will never pan out. If his knees can heal and he adds strength I would think maybe he could pan out.
  19. You are right. 6-3 just sounds soooooo freakin great. Looks like the Bears are building something to be excited about!
  20. If you don't think Gase and Cutler could have taken advantage go Gronk and AH you are crazy. They created a nightmare in match ups. I do agree tho, NE and Brady are on another level. I wonder if Hoodie retires when Brady retires?
  21. Great example. Tate was but Beckham wasn't......I don't get it and don't like it either. Det and Minny keep pissing me off because we could be sitting at 6-3...........How much different would things be with that record.
  22. some points have already been mentioned 1. Miller hasn't stayed healthy so no reason to believe he will now, maybe he finally gets past the injury bug tho 2. Bennett is an all around great TE, blocking and passing catching - I think you try to extend him and give him some more money to make him happy- not a break the bank type amount but raise. 3. NE used the shit out of the two TE sets, granted Gronk and Herendez were both GREAT athletes. 4. Right now the Bears are projected for 60 mil in cap space, read in one article that it could be as high as 70 depending on cap level and cuts the Bears make. Plenty of money to sign new guys and resign our own 5. Forte, I think you try to resign but if he wants too much you have to let him walk. Team loves him, still a threat in all phases of the game and could be good for team morale 6. If by not signing Forte they go and get a good OL I think its a no brainer. Improving the Oline will only make Langford and CO better, and give Cutler some time to throw because as of now he does not have much time
  23. Biggs tweeted - Slauson said " so many of Jay Cutlers checks were just right on point. A lot of his checks were our biggest plays". Great to hear this, as last year it was painted that Cutler wasn't making good reads or checks. Different result with the same player, points to one thing Coaching.
  24. Nooooooooooo that's not possible..... Oline play does not affect the good QB's, only PSI's do that! Ok..... I'm being a jerk.
