I think he was meaning asst coaches he has hired that turned into HC while under Fox's regime. Im hoping one of the strong suits with going with Fox was that he would be able to recruit a great staff.

George's performance since the last game of the season has been the best Ive seen from Bears brass. 1.Didn't mess around with firing assistant coaches and giving Trestman another year 2.Didn't let Emery off the hook= smoked his ass too 3.Hired Ernie, a guy outside the Bears to help get this right 4.Hired Pace someone outside the Bears tree when everyone thought it would be Ballard 5.Hired a HC with actual HC experience first time ever in Bears history Ill give George an A+, he gets the A+ because he is trying something different. Will it work, who knows, there are a lot of factors that go into things panning out, some out of the control of Pace and Fox but I do like where things are pointed. Now like DaBomb said lets give Pace and Pox a couple of years to put their stamp on things!!!! GO BEARS!!!!!! Forgot to add 6. Gave Pace the control everyone wanted to see= already got rid of someone....lets hope Pace can recruit some of the best football minds to the Bears staff

How many of those 41 sacks were due to Cutler holding on to the ball too long? I will say there were plenty of sacks that were not because of Cutler too tho.

Getting Slauson back will be good for the unit. One thing to think about, the new scheme will require the OL to do different types of run blocking. IE Zone Read run blocking scheme if shannahan comes to be the OC. They may feel there will need to be different personnel at some of the Oline positions to get the best results.

The Bears have been very tight lipped about the whole GM hiring and now the HC. Everyone thought it was Ballard....Then boom its Ryan Pace......Now everyone thinks its Fox........George threw us a curve ball with Pace, will Pace throw us a curve ball. Who knows maybe one of the other interviews blew Pace and Company away....... The Chicago media latched onto Fox as the guy because it makes sense.....Ballard made sense....... Having said that, I still would like Fox to be hired asap!!!!!

You are right about this one, he will be a star in the NFL. The guy is a beast. Unstoppable at the college level. Pace wants to be able to draft BPA. The bears have so many needs that it will be impossible to truly take care of each need. Pace will be able to upgrade some of the Bears needs, wont be hard upgrading from Conte should not be hard! lol The Bears need playmakers and difference makers.... Cooper will be a difference maker. IE Odel Bekham........ I have seen some mock drafts that have Cooper going before the Bears so who knows if he will be there at 7. I would not be upset if they did draft him.

I would like this hire. If I were to list this seasons off season HC possibilities this would have been my order 1. Harbaugh 2. Fox and Kubiak 3. Bowles 3. Quinn 4. Rex Ryan 5. Del Rio 6. Austin 7. Gase Harbaugh was not really an option but he was out there. So if they were to hire Fox it would be my second choice. It would be a good hire for one fact alone, this team needs Veteran Leadership, why not start with the HC!!!! I also think he would be able to bring in a stronger staff of assistants compared to the new HC's.

With all the Fox talk I didn't see this talked about. I hope Pace interviews every possible guy out there, helps get a better feel. Don't want Marrone at all.

I want Pace to do what he thinks is best for the Bears. Hope it works out. The Bears need to the best football minds in their front office, hopefully whoever he replaces him with will perform better. Not that Turks didn't do a good job as I have no idea how well he did his job. The Bears have done things a certain way for a long time, its time for change.

From what I read Emery did not fire anyone, kept everyone from the JA staff. I did read that he added a few positions tho.
