I do like the way he came out, he literally says something to the fact Does it matter?? Does it matter to you? Its not a big deal, Im happy Im gay. Granted I had never heard of him and do not follow the WWE. He mad it it a non issue by the way he came out. Sam will face a lot more media attention being the first openly gay current NFL player. The NFL is way bigger of a deal than the WWE. I honestly think there is no way any NFL player can come out and it not be made a big deal. Maybe if a group of them came out together and said something to the fact, We want to come out and move on from this. We don't want to address this subject anymore. Sorry but I cant figure out how you can relate the fight gays are going through to what the African Americans went through. First there was a civil war to get rid of slavery and then the entire Civil Rights Movement. Apples and oranges. I will say it is a Political Issue but not in the same ball park as the Civil Rights movement. Last time i checked Gays can vote, sit anywhere on a bus they want, drink from any water fountain they want and have access to the same level of education as everyone else. Is it perfect, no but far what people dealt with during the the Civil Rights movement.

I agree with AZ on this way of thinking but I do understand why he came out now. While at the Senior bowl or some NFl draft function he became aware of how many people actually knew already and instead of it coming without his consent he took control of it and let it be know how he wanted to or on his own terms. I give him props for having the balls that so do. From what it sounds like there are a couple of high profile NFL stars that have not came out....Rodger and Newton. They prolly have their own reasons for not coming out and that is all fine. Im looking fwd to a day when this will not make news. I for one do not care what your sexual orientation is. I 100% wanted Lovie gone. I wanted him gone years before they fired him. They gave him 10 years to figure out how to field a complete team. Three phases, right? Part of this blame goes on JA. He could never get the O figured out. Shit Oline, zeros weapons and then they trade for a QB and really show how bad they were on the O side of things. How many of us non experts screamed fix the Oline??????????? I blame Lovie and JA for never doing it. Wasting a good D with a shit bottom of the barrel O. Look what happens when you have a good oline and and some weapons....Shit even McCown looked good with the O fielded by Trestman and Emery. I also believe sometimes a Franchise needs a new face or direction. Do I think Lovie is a good coach, yes. You cant stay in the NFL for as long as he did and not be a good coach. I wish him the best of luck down in Tampa. Hopefully Lovie and their Gm can get a good group of Offensive coaches to guide that side of the ball. I will say that I don't think any Defensive coach would have been able to do much with our D last year. Maybe they would have gotten a little better production but nothing close to what would have been needed to make a playoff run. The losses on the D were just too great.

The bears who have always been a Defensive Minded Team is now an Offensive minded team, which is the trend of the NFL. The team that has the Best D beats the shit out of the team with the Best O. Last years SB had two Defensive Minded teams in the SB. If the Bears can some how get the D fixed to be at least in the TOP 15 with a Top 10 O I will like our chances.

I almost put my foot through my Moms family room floor when he housed it. My moms dog freaked out and bit one of my friends! it was insane. Sad story about that Dennis Green game. I agree with you. Emery and Trestman and even teammates have all gone on record saying Jay has been the complete teammate and tram leader. Maybe a glimpse of him being a great team leader would give him a better image. I have no clue how much of a distraction the Hard Knocks could be, it goes not seem to have an affect on the past teams that have done it. Im all for the Bears being on Hard Knock, I would love it..... I like the Hard Knocks so much i watched every episode about the Bengals and Jets. Two teams I have zero interest in.

In all honesty I think Tucker should be fired. But it didnt happen so we have to deal with it. I can respect you arguing the other side, Tuckers D did sustain a lot of losses. You cant count the loss of Urlacher out , Briggs, Tilman, Melton makes 4 Pro Bowlers. At this point Im so confused as to how or why they structured the Cutler deal the way they did that I am going to wait and see how this plans out. Emery has to have some type of plan. You dont just sign Cutler to this huge of a deal without taking into condisderation the cap and the rest of players you need to sign to fill out a roster. He already admitted to not doing a good enough of a job with stocking the D. The cap confuses the shit out of me. Im pretty sure this is a true statement, The bears could have structured the Cutler deal to be more cap friendly while paying him the same amount. Right?????

Joe and Troy have some sort of love affair with the Pack The refs for the second week in a row favored the Packers. Great way to see the Pack go out!!!!!!
