Not saying anything is wrong with the thread, just I think its too early. The more to talk about the better. I hope he gets his health in order and into playing shape if he still is not(there were talks that he may not be in the best shape) and returns to form. Watching him he still is driving OT's back, just not getting to the QB as much as I would hope.

I may be wrong, but what is guaranteed and what the cap hit would be is two different things. Peppers is guaranteed 13.9 million dollars next year if cut but the cap hit would be the full amount. That's the way I read it. Im surprised we are having this convo now. 3 games have been played so far. One we know Peppers had the flu. There is still waaaaaaayyyyyy too much season left to play. The biggest thing in my book is this offense and Oline is going to take time to really get dialed in. This is a great start but if they stay healthy and we could really have a O to go along with this D. Im liking what Im seeing from Trestman and Company. Only play I was really unhappy with was the 1st and goal pass play that ended up being INT. Had it worked no body would be saying anything. I just would have liked a run, lower risk play. Im also liking the fact that we play GB in week 9. If the O keeps getting better we should be in good shape to give them a run for their money.

Lou Mitchells is amazing. I lived in the West Loop or Greek town and that place is one of the best. I voted for Geno's East pizza, because it is close to the stadium. If you want the BEST DEEP DISH PIZZA IN CHICAGO take a 10-15 min ride to Pequods. Get the pan pepperoni. It is by far the best pizza in Chicago. I suggest Gino's East for deep dish, there is one right downtown. As far as parking your best bet is buying a parking pass in the south lot or if you can find a good deal Waldron Deck. These are the two closest lots.

He dove at the linemans knee, the play was already 15 yards ahead of this lineman. There was no reason to even hit him. Matthews was not as bad as the SUH in my eyes. They were heading out of bounds and Matthews tackled him, did Clay know he was out or not, who knows. Matthews is also is not a repeat offender.

hahahaha... great line the funny thing about him is when he was a senior and doing the Heisman ceremony I thought he was a stand up guy, the story they put together for him was a pretty good story. He seemed like a smart guy and down to earth. I do not remember him having these issues at Nebraska.

I personally hate this guy. I think he is the biggest douche to play the game. The dive at the knees is and always will be uncalled for. I played D line, I hate O lineman. I mean I hate them to this day. I hated the O lineman that would block after the whistle or come diving on the pile. I never saw a place in the game for that crap. What SUH did was complete bullshit and I think he should have been given at least a two game suspension. How many does this guy have to do something stupid??? What are your thoughts? You take the grading part of the article but don't include the paragraph that pretty much contradicts the grading scale part. “He never gained the consistency, that sufficient level of consistency that we want out of our players, so at the end his performance wasn’t to our expectation level that we felt we needed to move forward with it.”. Players that are consistent grade out at a C, good players a B and great players are an A. Judging by this statement where do you really thing Webb graded out at? Its classic GM talk. Lets keep it simple, no stats, no quotes. just facts so there is no way misunderstand any of this Fact 1- Starting Left tackle - demoted to RT Fact 2 - Starting right tackle asked to take a pay cut Fact 3- Dropped to 2nd string Fact 4- Cut from the team This is not the kind of progression I'm looking for. You can whine like a little bitch all day long, throw out Emery said this and PFF said this and Mongo agrees with me, I have one buddy!Moon Mullin said this!!! I do not agree that Webb progressed last year. He was the same worthless Tackle as the last two years. You can spit out any stat you want, all you have to do is watch the tape. As for the PFF stats from last year my last post was about the grades that Emery said Webb earned from their staff not any PFF stat.

Its call Coach speak, it explains why he was given the starting RT position. Many people would have liked to see Webb cut a long time ago. But they didn't, they gave him every chance to make this team. Really you have to read between the lines, it looks bad that a known crappy player was given the starting RT spot. Giving him the starting spot means you think he is good and really trusting your entire team with Webb. Now you cut this person, by saying what he did it puts all the blame on Webb and none one him. I had high hopes, yeah Emery was hoping Webb would turn it around so he wouldnt look bad by going into camp with him starting at RT.
