Which Rookie QB should we draft to replace Fields?

Way cool , interested in what feelings you have on what you see. -
The only true generational player going into the draft is MHJ, some others may prove to be that, but no one doubts Marvin isnt great.

Does anyone have a take on Michael Pratt ? I seen a couple preseason ranking that had him top 5 for QBs and never heard much about him. And you dont? Its never pressure to have opinions, there is no right or wrong opinions, only wrong stats, wrong facts , misquotes. definition of opinion: a view or judgment formed about something, not necessarily based on fact or knowledge. -

Whatever narrative you wish to push, there are a long list on both sides of the agrument. I listen to all of them and then try to form my own opinion. With lots more information to come out, a lot of people are saying, Caleb is that guy but that is thier opinions , I'll let the process play out. I'll accept whatever player Poles chooses. He is privy to much more info than anyone else. -
Here's a draft list of top players by Ourlads website, they are former scouts that still provide information to some teams. their lists are always a little different than most so called experts on the draft. I track them and they are fairly accurate on the players taken in the first round but not at the right teams. https://www.ourlads.com/top-32-college-senior-prospects/nfl-draft/2024/6362497/

Been to 27 countries but never been to PR, will have to plan a trip there, heard that from several people. Cabo is safe but Im not out at 2 in the morning by myself drunk. That may be a different animal. Between Giggling Marlin and Happy Ending, a lot of bars with live music, good place to go. Cabo Wabo is on the first street away from the Marina behind those bars.

Expense wise its like Californa prices unless you get away from the Marina area, other places in Mexico a lot cheaper if you stay away from tourist areas. I bought a long sleeve shirt, knocked it down to 20 (cool at night), then bought one as a souvern for someone and paid 13 for the shirt, always look around when buying things.

I think more value on the team leaders opinions, DJ Moore, Cole Kmet. JJ, Sweat, Edmunds and Edwards and rookie R Johnson. -

Agree with all that, Im sure there are some players or some former players or coaches he may listen to their advice but his decisions will be a composite of many different aspects. Most important will be his evaluation of CW himself. -
Those FAs are at positions we need to address. Hope we get a few.

Lots of players and former players support Fields. Playing the game or being in the locker room probably gives them more insight than an average fan so I have a tendency to value their opinion more. -
I'm not a big partier, but Happy Ending is the most reasonable food prices I found. Lots of expensive places to eat. Have some friends at Cabo Cantina, so was there a lot. Salvatores was awesome food with huge portions, got 3 meals out of it. There's a huge unfinished building on the Marina, every place I mentioned is within 3 blocks of there. Go to Happy Ending first, you can walk out of for 10 to 15 a meal, every where else is double that. Around the marina everything is . over priced my friend did it fishing trip caught a Marlin, 4 Degauto first and a couple Mahe Mahe fish. Don't know if I spelled those right. It cost him 300 for 5 hours.

Had a brain fart on ATL, I seen the order of draft on great blue North draft report, I never double checked the order anywhere else. Sportsnaut website has the pick in three as pick 102.
-
Its nice to dream on enormous returns on trades but is it realistic? If we move to 2 with Washington. move to 2, get pick 40, pick 102. 1st next year. If we get lots of competition for one, add a player?

WCG has a series on the positional breakdowns, seen one on RBs. We have Herbert , Johnson and Homer signed for next year. I dont think he brings back Foreman, played well for a few games but ends up adding a drafted RB. For sake of cap money, I think he keeps addiing a RB every draft. Homer played in Seattle while Waldron was there and he used him a lot in 3rd downs because of his blocking and pass catching ability. I think he adds a draftee to take over Herberts place after this year.

When i was in Cabo , one of my friends bought a 140.00 bottle of tequila, boy was that sipping material, very smooth.

I think Maye probably is farther down the list. He had a great junior year but his senior season had a lot of stinkers in it. Daniels only had one great year , other years were not special. MT only had one very good year of which a lot of college QBs do . It comes down to risk factor, CW is the only one with special put on him. It will come down to character issues if Poles doesnt take him, he not taking a QB just for sake of change. The OTs are rated high and deserve to be but dont think they will be on Poles list. Braxton got better last year, had many penalties but only gave up two sacks. Dont think he goes there with so many other special players rated high. I think the rest of the list is spot on. I think he picks weapons or DL with his high picks after he figures out the QB question. S and OC will come later after the first round.
-
I agree with that but some experts claimed him to be the best of the year, not special but it just shows you , they make bad judgements and the only evaluation that matters is the one Poles does.
-
I seen a writer say that Waldron run a lot of two TE sets in Seattle. Two TEs would give us the middle of the field, a place the Bears didn't throw a lot last year. Helps in the run game. With DJ and a big WR , you create havoc.

I throw up just looking at a bottle of Gin.

Lots of rumors this time of year. Journalists like to project.
