If Jones is the worst player on the line with Waldron playing 2 TEs more frequently, they can slide him help. We will have a pretty good line. Poles first year he went after Brandon Allen and Joe Noteboom, and Ryan Bates. He struck out on all of them but Noteboom and Allen ended up being hurt that year anyways. Last year he brought in Wright and Davis. Wright went thru growing pains as a rookie and Davis mother was sick and died. He played well above average previous years but his mom's death got in his head and was bad. Jenkins isn't going to be healthy for 17 games and Whitehair dropped off big time. Patrick just isn't very good. This year he will target the OL and good depth. There will be another OT brought in to push Braxton or at least add good depth. Probably thru the draft. With Jenkins not finishing seasons, he will add a high level draftee that can start. I totally believe Davis will be ready to go , last year was an outlier. I believe he will draft a OC and bring in a high level free agent that can play both OC-OG. That's 4 or maybe 5 new bodies. He's supposed to be a OL guru, and he won't let the line fail again.

I think when the media constantly hammers the subject , everyone he knows keeps asking him , it gets old. I think he was confident he was coming back with the actions of Poles and Flus but the press creates doubts in his head. Caleb talent as a passer, is elite but what will determine whether Poles drafts him is yet to show up. The interview, if shorter than expected, as things come out. Not having an agent is a red flag, the talk of not wanting to come here, wanting to have a piece of a team, super ego or confidence? The two most important aspects of the combine are the personal interviews and the medicals. If smaller than sold will eliminate a few teams. For Poles that interview will decide everything. Pay attention to his words once that's done. There's no advantage for him committing to a draft pick or keeping Fields. The more other teams have to guess the more the price goes up but there should be signs.

I was a plumber my whole life and there were a few women that broke into the trade. They were babied when it come to the physical work ( I did it to) and always given easy tasks. Will Poles go with a 3 year 57 mil for Cusenberry? That is what I seen suggested for his contract. I doubt it Second choice: Tyler Biadasz. Young , strong, probably be around 10 mil a year. WR, I think Curtis Samuel makes the most sense, friends with DJ, adds speed won't be expensive. TE: Fant should come with reasonable money. Has ties to Waldron. Still has upside. S: I think Winfield and McKinney will be to expensive, so more likely types like Julian Blackmon ( played for Flus before) and a Geno Stone. Led Ss in interceptions this year. DEs: lots of high paid ones this year. I think he looks more 2 nd tier types. AJ Epensa or Josh Uche. Both played limited snaps and had decent stats. Kind of like the Walker signing. Getsy always scripted the first 12 plays and did well but him adapting in game was terrible. To his credit, he's never called plays before so he's learning too. I also like he has experience with success. Getsy would never take blame for anything, and I'm sure that caused a disconnect with Justin.

With the increase in cap space that will happen right after the combine which is next week.

The NFL just set the cap total today and we now have over 80 mil in cap space. That puts us 3 rd as team total.

The most updated version has us at +200 and Pittsburgh with -125 . I googled it and several different betting sites have different odds. Why not her but women coaching in the league is still kind of an experimental stage. Remains to be seen as how successful she may be. If she's an alpha she will eventually gain the respect of the players but that's not going to happen walking in. Lots of huge egos in the NFL and some will just be turned off by it. How many players have had domestic abuse cases over the years. Clearly don't respect women the same let alone in a boss situation. If we stand pat with picks 1 + 9, I don't see how we get our our needs filled. Our picks are 1 + 9 +75 + 110 + 122 + 142. Last year we got starters in rounds one and two. Wright, Dexter, Stevenson. The rest were quality back ups Pickens, R Johnson, T Scott, Sewell, T Smith. Bell got rifled off the PS, and Williamson is on the practice squad. There could be future starters in their but at least another year away. So at best he may add 3 starters, may get lucky with a later pick but won't be in 2024. Even if we trade Fields, that's a second at best, with one more starter. With all the negativity thrown on Justin , no way anyone will give a one for Justin.If we take QB with 1 or 9, he won't be looked on to start right away. Stroud excelling last year is an outlier, not the norm. So he sits. One will be a WR , a center, DL, OL or S. I think we get a OC and S in free agency but still will draft those positions. We just don't have enough picks in the draft which is why I think he trades back.

Don't you think that has to do lower body strength and he's working on that? He improved from year one to two in that area. On the outside you're moving back as you engage where on the inside you're in a box when you make contact. He has long arms which would be more useful inside.

The draft chart value would be 300 difference which would be pick 60 or combo of lower picks. If there is competition for a QB still there, 2 nd rounder, 6 th round pick and and a future 3 thrown in.

If we take a OT, Braxton can compete at OG. It builds depth at the least. Bring 3 OL in and let them fight it out for starting jobs. We need at least 8.
