We have two starting DEs as of now. Walker was disappointing but showed more once Sweat showed up. Booker will only play as a situational edge to start so one more edge would be nice. With a new D-line coach we may have upgrades to all the DL. This stage of practice only shows a players quickness and not full spectum of strengths. Yannick is an option but he wasnt special. Not sure any special players in Free agency are left. Give the young guys the reps and maybe by midseason they can start rolling. I think more importantly is there a player on the roster that can hold up the run defense on a regular base and then run in the rookies. Yannick wasnt that good at holding the point and with the run defense.

As far as the Oline, having the top 30 players in both OG and OT puts us to al least an average to good OL. With a QB that has a quick release that puts us a top 12 OL. I totally expect the center to be top 20 rsting with the other lineman supporting him.

Me think we may expect a pass rusher but they may like Austin Booker-Jacob Martin- Dom Robinson-Jamree Kromah-Khalid Kareem-Daniel Hardy more than we realize.

JJ is at this moment in time but teams will make TS a star by continuing to target him. It took him some time to learn. His first 10 games he had 6 PDs and nothing else. His last 7 games; 4 Ints-2 FFs-10 PDs. I think both CBs can be stars in this league. He tied for 5th in the league in PDs and 7th in the league in interceptions. CW looks a lot better when none of the starting DBs are playing. At least he wont face them in the regular season.

The only thing that matters to everyone is winning and he will be expected to win this year. Campbell is admired for being a good coach and he screwed up several times in the playoffs. The most important thing for me is ( will the players run threw a wall for Flus) so far so good. With all that losing he keep the team together. When he took over the defense, the defense got better. We went from worst rushing D team to best rushing D in one year. Players improved and then he got a pass rusher, it started to be a dominate team. If you want to compare him to Reid or Shanahan, he loses but he still has time to win people over.

Im not sure the top 5 LTs were top 5 their first few years. These rating are projected on a 2nd yr and 3 rd year player. They have improved and should finish higher than 31 and 32 in the next few years. KA may prove to be a better LT than Braxton but he will take a few years to develop. Our choice this year came down to Odunze or the third OT taken. When building a team, everyone cant be a first round pick. We have to trust they get developed.I think if both finish top 10 at their position that is acceptable as we acquire blue chip players at other positions.

I think Flus is part of the plan that Poles has looking forward if he had any negative thoughts about Flus, he had the perfect time last year to do it. Flus would have to have a losing record for that even come up this year and see no way of that happening. Now if Caleb is the reason for us being 8-9 compared to 10-7 , I dont think Poles holds that against him but if the defense fails and chaos on the offense , then of course that's on the table.
