Offensive line options
I heard a podcast with Olin today. His biggest concern was to go out and get best LT in your price range and start there with fixing the oline. He also said do not count out Mustifer as being the starting OC this year. He is bias because he helps train Sam . He said Sam knows what he needs to work on and will get it done. That the outside zone scheme fits his talent better. If I remember he played very well in 2020 the five games he started. He put on 30 lbs and didn't feel comfortable with it. Look for him to be 15 lbs lighter and not lose any strength. The LTs out of our price range are Armsted, O Brown, Cam Robinson, Duane Brown. The potential LTs available: Nate Solder, Eric Fisher, Joseph Noteboom, Chris Hubbard, and Cornelius Lucas. I would say the best options would to sign Solder or Fisher to a one year deal as you develop a draft pick. My choice would to pay Joseph Noteboom on a 4 year contract and watch him grow. He has played limited snaps but performed well the last two years. Its a risk but one you may win. If Noteboom can handle the job and Mustifer steps up, thats 4 spots pinned down. I would say your only decision is resign Daniels and cut Whitehair, or go with Daniels. Draft a OT and OC prospects later in the draft. Use your first two picks on dynamic WRs. They will be good choices there.

Combine Thread
I went through the rated top 6 WRs by many publications and it generally doesn't include these two. That will change now but that means someone else drops. Maybe Jahan Dotson or a Treylon Burks. I would take any of them. Sky Moore would be a good get , a #1 WR will be there.Alex Pierce is my choice.

Definitely one of the best OL prospects this year. Closest thing to Quinton Nelson in the draft.

I liked Chris Olave, that's pretty obvious but I thought Alex Pierce and Christian Watson were pretty impressive. Both shouted be there at 39.

Free Agent WRs 2022
I think with possibility of them cutting Cooper for cap relief, they go strong to bring back Wilson and Gallup. Wilson would definitely upgrade over Goodwin and Bryd.

Free Agent WRs 2022
I read an article today throwing another FA WR name out there. Isaiah Mackenzie. He,has 4.42 speed , a quick twitch at 26. He filled in for Cole Beasley when he missed time. He would mainly be a slot WR, kind of a Tarik Cohen clone. Would come at a couple mil a Year.

Roster Going Forward...
I totally agree with that, he only played 400 snaps in 2 yrs but graded out very well.

I can see us going after a OC in free agency. Several could be got on median contracts. Ted Karras, Brian Allen, Bradley Boseman are all listed between 5-7 mil a year . That would be the cheapest acquisition compared to getting a OT. The big question is does Poles view Daniels as an essential resign. Because of his age, he is projected to get between 8-10 mil a year. We will know as soon as Free agency starts, what Poles thinks of Daniels. Also if Whitehair doesn't fit his lineman profile, a post June 1st cut saves us 8.2 mil. Which could pay for Daniels or a FA center. So l would like to see us sign a OC, drop Whitehair,, resign Daniels, Draft a OT. I think someone already suggested that in another post.

Free Agent WRs 2022
There is a chance we can get a #1 WR picking in the draft. Kupp was a third round pick. T Hill was 5th rounder. Adam Thielen was a UDFA. Stefon Diggs 5th, D Adams 2nd , Tyler Lockett 3rd, Chris Godwin 3rd , Terry McLaurin 3rd . . We add a couple of FAs. maybe Valdes-Scantling, a big WR with some speed 4.37 or Byron Pringle, 4.46. Kalif Raymond 4.34. , Chris Conley 4.35.

Jenkins is a nasty football player and will start at L or RT. Hopefully on the left. I think he becomes a pro Bowl player.

Offensive line options
Poles talked today about lean offensive lineman that can move . Who do we have on the roster that fits that mold. Jenkins moves well for a big guy. I don't think Borom fits that scheme. If Borom loses more weight does that change for him? He is more of a road grader than an agile OL. I do think Daniels fits as a move blocker. So if Borom is a backup, do they resign Daniels and bring in a OT and move Jenkins to RT? Does Alan Bars come into play. I think they used a zone scheme at ND. Does that mean they stick with Mustifer and get him stronger to handle stronger DTs? Mustifer was weak at point of contact but can more strength change that? Evaluate our rostered OL and see what say you.

Mock Drafts
I think it would be easy to say Daniels is a better player than Borom right now. The question is at 10 mil a yr, how much better? At what price can you bring in a new Oline to take the roster spot for Daniels? 10 mil is probably fair but because of the money you're paying Whitehair, oh just can't invest that much in Daniels. I always cheer when players get paid but when you look back , most the time , it doesn't look like a good contract. We have to pay Roquan because he has more impact than players like Daniels. If Daniels made a pro Bowl, then the argument is different but he didn't. I think for sake of balancing the cap , paying Brian Allen or Alex Karras 6-7 mil is a better value.

Mock Drafts
I read where Daniels contract would be around 10 mil. per year That will be to rich for oline. If its around 8 per yr, I see them doing it. Whitehair is making 12 per.

Zion Johnson played OC at the senior Bowl. Lot of scouts thinks that is his best spot. At pick 71 , there would be OT choices, Darian Kinnard, or Tyler Smith, maybe Nicolas Petit-Frere. Going both oline, center and tackle would not bother me a bit. If the OT needs some growing, bringing back Peters for one year would work. Also in the 5th Alex Linstrom/OC from BC could still be there. Other late OCs, Nick Ford, Luke Fortner, Ben Brown.

Off season defense
Our D line coach came from the Raiders. I hope he can get Quinton Jefferson to come here . He would be a perfect 3T . last year had 6 sacks and 43 pressures. He's 28, 6'4" 291. I don't think he makes more than 6-7 mil per year.

Bell would be fine but better as a 3 rd pick. I tink 2nd round has to be OL. The names you mentioned should be available in 3rd. Not sure Bell will end up a #1 in NFL.

Nagy back in KC
I think it's a friendship hiring.

Nagy back in KC
He's not calling plays, he will be fine.

Mock Drafts
He would be a good get, but I don't think he starts day one, on the other hand, Zion plug and play.

Off season defense
No hurt in training camp.

Mock Drafts
I want Zion to be our first pick, he is the closest thing to Quinton Nelson in this draft. We can easily find a WR in the 3rd round.

Off season defense
Does anyone think Kyle Long could stay healthy enough at a one year gig? Poles thought so in KC last year.

Off season defense
There is risk with Noteboom, the last two years he only played part time but played very well. I figured taking the chance on a ascending player instead of one that was in decline. I figure the new oline coach could have some input , there is a few options with Pittsburgh, OG Trai Turner and Chukwuma Okorafor could be in play also. I was trying find room for another WR. I like Zay Jones but he was to expensive at 6 mil. We will definitely add two FAs. I think Pringle and Demarcus Robinson could be in play with Poles coming from KC, or with Getzy from GB, Valdes-Scantling , Allen Lazard.

Off season defense
He was drafted in 2017, second on team in Ts 2018 and 2019, then led the team in 2020. Couldn't find any stories relating to why he left . Maybe he wanted a better contract, turned down there offer and ended up getting stuck in the second wave sighing . Had to settle for a 1year deal. The stories said he was one of the team leaders so not sure why he left. It wasn't because of production. Had more Ts than Dadius Leonard in 2020.

I took 30 mil of the cap and tried to fill as many needs as possible. I used the salaries they posted in the article of PFF top 200 FA LB Anthony Walker. 4 mil led Browns in Ts WR Micheal Gallup 5 mil. He will miss 4 to 5 games 3T Quinton Jefferson 4 mil. 6 sacks--43 pressures CB Mike Hughes 3.25. 77.8 PFF Coverage rating OC Ted Karras 4.33. 73 PFF grade, started last 2 years for NE LT Joseph Noteboom 4 mil filled in for Whitworth 400 snaps, 79 PFF rating SS Jayron Kearse 5 mil played well for Dallas last year. Spent 29.53 mil
