  1. Your spot on, I agree.
  2. A more QB deprived franchise than the Bears released him. So what does that tell you about all of that. NO NO NO
  3. Do you guys think because of NE winning another SB that Brady and Belhick will play and coach for 2 or 3 years and then retire together? I think this may make it more available to get Jimmy G with the plan of Brady being successful and available to win SBs for a couple more years. You figure with some high picks added they can shore the OL and grab a new tight end to add to there team stength?
  4. I dont think any of the QBs are of that high of a value in this year. All three will be over drafted and carry higher risks for each. Also this year we have to get a QB prospect to go forward and if they deem one worthy of the risk, I would be ok with it, but I prefer Adams, he gets comparisons to Ed Reed and if even close, it makes our defense so much better. Allen would be my second choice.
  5. I think the Iowa DT is a stud Jaleen Johnson, not sure was available at that spot but would love to get him. I have watched alot of tape on him and he is very active and strong.
  6. The only trades up will be for a QB, I dont see anybody other than Garrett worth it to a team. Maybe some one thinks Mike Williams is a stud but not to trade up that high to get him. Why did you see Thomas as the second best DL in the draft? He wasn't as productive in college and is 20 lbs less than Allen
  7. I love all of them except for Adams, have heard some negatives on him
  8. I like Matt Miller but having Thomas and Allen one spot apart, I dont think that is significant. The two things that bother me about him. He is 20 lbs less than Allen and not even close in production. I always think it is hard for a Alabama player to shine because there are so many stars on the team, it takes away from everybody elses stats.
  9. Allen will be a stud player and also make the other parts of the line better. With an improved pass rush, our DBs end up looking better. With teams concentrating on him more, our edge rushers look better. I prefer Adams by preference of making the backend of the D better but Allen is way acceptably. If they deem one of these QBs a franchise type then I would have no problem with a QB taken. The least risky pick has to be Allen.
  10. There is examples of both. Last year he let Chandler Jones go, and last time I checked he is real good. It has to do with Bellich has a ego, he thinks he can make anybody work in his system. Also he might see Brisett as equal value and has him tied up for 3 more years so he makes a choice not because of talent but because of value in his drafting. He also may eye a QB this year that he deems better and will use picks to grab him.
  11. Ya, I couldnt figure it out either, all As and barely exceeded 10000. It has to do with need and value of rating, but you never get to see the list.
  12. What I dont understand is why would you tell people you want a certain player, there is no advantage to that. I think we just have media connecting dots and trying to crate a story. I would be all in on getting him . I have read several scouts say,if he was coming out this year, he would be the first QB taken. We will have to give up two picks but I think it may be a 2nd this year and a conditional second next year. Cleveland has money and many more draft picks so if they want him I see them outbidding us for him.

I think if you can get quality at a fair price , he has shown he will do it. This year especially because of mounting pressure to win.
  14. Here is a draft I did with this site with minimum trades Round 1 Pick 3: Myles Garrett, DE/OLB, Texas A&M (A+) Round 2 Pick 6 (LAC): Cam Robinson, OT, Alabama (A-) Round 3 Pick 3: Adoree' Jackson, CB, Southern California (A) Round 3 Pick 39 (CLE): Jordan Leggett, TE, Clemson (A+) Round 4 Pick 1 (CLE): Davis Webb, QB, California © Round 4 Pick 4: Jaleel Johnson, DT, Iowa (A) Round 4 Pick 10: Derek Rivers, DE, Youngstown State (B+) Round 5 Pick 3: Ryan Switzer, WR, North Carolina (B-) Round 7 Pick 3: Zane Gonzalez, K, Arizona State (A+)
  15. I love the people you pick but not the two needest positions being in 5 and 7
  16. Love those kind of sites and would love that draft.
  17. With all the new information, I keep having a new thought everyday. For today:(tomorrow will probably be different) 1.....Hooker/FS potential game changer on defense 2.....Ryan Ramczyk/LT I think this should be a priority-drops because of a shoulder surgery 3.....Demarkus Walker/5T a high end player in a strong DL draft 4.....Brad Kaaya/QB has been suggested we are interested in him 4.....Brendan Langley/CB deep draft, big and active playmaker 5.....Eric Saubert /TE productive and fast 7.....Trent Taylor/WR productive slot WR This is based on getting in FAgency Jefferson/SS high end young guy Trumaine Johnson/CB upgrade and let Fuller leave Terrel Pryor/WR figuring we losing Jeffery
  18. I dont think it is a major problem or you be hearing more about it. Maybe all comes out in the combine. Im more in favor of drafting one of the safeties.I think Adams is better, but maybe take Hooker with the idea of getting Cyphein or Jefferson in FAgency. On the outside Daniel Sorenson/SS/KC a young riser than may have upside at a very reasonable contract.
  19. I cant see where this is a big surprise. He only signed a one year deal for a reason. He had money coming from his former college head coaching job. I would say maybe his contract had in it that he couldnt coach in college and be paided and now he wants to get back in college football. Just a thought.
  20. Another option is us drafting a TE high, one that could contribute day 1. If he signs a deal with us for 10-11 a year we need to go for it. He is a true #1 and we need to keep him. If people are offering him 14 mil a year, probably they wont do it. So if we then have White???, we would have to just expect him to be the #1 and run with it. Also sign Terrel Pryor and a late draft pick. SO: with Alston Jeffery Kevin White Cam Meredith Rookie Braverman without White Meredith Pryor Braverman Rookie Plus we draft a TE in one of our first 3 picks.
  21. I would hope for the best if we did draft Watson, but also dont want a QB with the first round.

So many variables in the whole process, it pretty well doesn't say anything important.

In two all star games he had 4 Ints and 1 fumble recover, that impresses me.
  24. Zach Miller is under contract
  25. You make some valid points, but there is all kinds of QBs drafted in the first round that ended up crap. None this year are cant misses, so I think Jimmy is not a elite QB but if he turns into someone of the status of Tony Romo, Im good with that. STRENGTHS: Good, not great, height, body type and hand size. Better than adequate arm strength with a snap release that produces some juice. Live arm with his experience coming from a pass-happy offense. Excellent passing vision with quick eyes to scan and a quick, natural delivery. Smart and executes the offense well. Quick intellectual process on the football field. Above average timing with little unnecessary movements and very good pace in his set-up. Quick feet to evade pressure with the pocket mobility to move his lower body with his eyes focused downfield. Gets "happy feet" at times, but shows the ability to reset. Very good touch and overall placement with improved accuracy to all levels of the field throughout his career. Level-headed and always under control with a strong leadership presence. Confident thrower and short memory. Elite career production as a four-year starter at the FCS level. WEAKNESSES: Lack of elite velocity will show on some NFL throws. Needs to continue to improve his decision-making and not allow pressure to severely alter his process. Bad habit of forcing throws in small windows. Lower-than-ideal release point with an almost side-arm motion. Needs to get his feet under control on a consistent basis and regularly step into his throws. Must continue and develop his pocket awareness and internal clock to feel pressure. Holds the ball too long at times and will take unnecessary hits. Experience is in a FCS spread, shotgun attack; needs to become more acclimated with under-center snaps. COMPARES TO: Tony Romo, Dallas Cowboys - The comparison goes beyond coming from the same college program. Both lack elite physical skills, but are productive due to their timing, smarts and quick release to get the ball out. --Dane Brugler Pats let Chandler Jones get away and he is a prime time player, so I do not think they all of there decisions has to do with talent. If Belichick thinks Brady is playing 3 more years then he may find more value in a high pick than paying a backup QB 10 mil a year to sit on the bench. Belichick has a ego. If we get Bouye and pay Garopollo, we still have plenty of money to spend on FAgents. We get a plum at pick 3, Allen, Adams or Hooker. Or draft a QB in the second which turns into Matt Barkley and end up impeding our future for at least a few more years. I wouldnt have a problem with drafting a QB, but I believe next year is the time we start to challenge for a playoff spot, a Tony Romo valued QB can take us there, a rookie will more than likely not.
