In the last quarter of the season (last 4 games) only 3 tds. If Indy scores 15 pts against Titans, Bears will be (statistically) best defense points wise.

Week 17 - Flexed to the afternoon slot to align with LAR/SF and PHI/WAS games. Early line has the Vikings favored by 5. If they are assuming we are resting starters, fine, but it seems odd that the Vikings are favored by more than 3 at home against an 11-4 team. In comparison, the Ravens are favored by 5.5 at home against Cleveland. A lot on the line. Potential to get a first-round bye with a win and Rams loss. Also, the outcome of our game directly impacts who we play as the #6 seed. If we play everyone, I think we win another tough game 23-20. If we rest players, I think Minnesota wins 27-17.

Four time last to first. Home game, I don't care who we are playing. And I don't remember the last game we had. Well I kinda do and it really sucked. But I think this team can beat anyone when all cylinders are hitting. It's gonna be tough but we can beat any team any where it they are. DaBears!!!

The big question of the day, in the media, is what do the Bears play for this Sunday? Do we play as if the Rams will lose and we have home field to gain? Do we play to rest nicked up players and hope to win? Rest starters knowing we'll meet again the following week? Or do we play like we want to make a statement and send the Vikings on vacation. Also to note was our preseason, where Nagy was huge on resting players for the upcoming season. The result was one of the least injured teams in the NFL. What is our collective thought on this? Congrats to Brad and MyDeflatedBalls as the TalkBears Keeper Champion for 2018. He completely dominated down the stretch riding Mahomes, McCaffrey and Kittle to the promised land. I got cold feet and started Jones over Anderson and it will cost me the championship. Crazy how one or two moves decide the season.

Bears 10-4, still have outside shot at a first-round bye, though very unlikely. The game is still important to at least lock in the #3 seed. Interesting to see the line only at -4. Based on some bookie sites, a lot of money going SF's way. Hopefully not a trap game, we need to finish strong and Trubisky needs to string together some solid games. Bears 27-13.

With the division champs locked in, we now know our 2019 schedule. When you win, the battles become tougher. Green Bay Packers, Minnesota Vikings, Detroit Lions, NFC East-Dallas Cowboys, Philadelphia Eagles, New York Giants and Washington Redskin, AFC West-Kansas City Chiefs, Los Angeles Chargers, Oakland Raiders and Denver Broncos, NFC North division, New Orleans Saints and the Los Angeles Rams.

I'm loving this season. LOVING. But I'm worried. I feel like this season is a lot like Icarus. Flying too far too fast could cause huge problems. Amos needs re-signing now. Fuller, Floyd, Bush are all in 2019, and Eddie Jackson should be on tap quickly thereafter. One more year like this one, and I'm sure there are a few who others who will want to restructure. We won't be able to keep them all. Add that to the fact that there is a serious lack of draft picks, and I'm a bit worried about the path forward. I feel like the window is open, but it's only open for a year or two more.

out in the 2nd half with a foot injury. hopefully this is a minor injury. callahan is one of the most improved players this season and really anchors our defensive backfield when on the field. this guy is a keeper.

The Bears have a chance to win the Division, while knocking GB out of playoff contention, in front of their home crowd, it doesn't get much better than this. It should be one of those "passing the torch" type of games with a win. We need to stay ahead of Dallas and depending on if LAR or NO tank, we have an outside shot at a bye. GB is 2-5 since their bye and has fired McCarthy. They are 1-0 without him beating a hapless Falcons team 34-20. They do have an easy schedule after us (NYJ and DET), so there is still a sliver of hope if they somehow beat us and win out, which would put them at 8-7-1. Floyd IMO is still ascending. I think with his body type we'll see that for a couple more years as he gains strength. The decision on his 5th year option is due this offseason and with all the things he does well I don't see anyway we can let him go after next season. So we're likely paying him the 5th year option which I believe is worth around $13-15mil. I'd rather see if we can work out a 3 or 4yr extension and since he doesn't have elite sack numbers try to keep him for around $8-10mil/yr. He's a good player but not elite in any category and his injury history mucks up the negotiating waters. If he's here for 4 more years (3 yr extension) he's just 30 when…

Wow, Cohen moves and jukes like my fav, Sayers. Pace got a gem, like Papa Bear did. I really missed this type of football. Loved it in 64-65, adore it now.
