Not sure how I feel. But if the contract were small, I wouldn't mind considering him.

http://www.nfl.com/news/story/09000d5d8231...o-bowl-wr-lloyd Is this a player that possesses the "talent" many of you describe? I recall him playing in Chicago before. Dude catches just about everything thrown his way.

wow, angelo never ceases to amaze me. I mean seriously scraping the bottom of the barrel. I bet our coaches wanna hang themselves. Anyway, after we waste our Top 15 pick on a lineman, i will be joining the Jaguars board.

Just pointing out that there's one more bad WR who's hit the market the Bears might be interested in after some team over-pays for Bernard Berrian. According to PFT, Washington paid 10 million AND gave up a 3rd & 4th round draft pick for Lloyd's services. As PFT wrote, "For that investment, the Redskins got 23 catches for 365 yards in 2006 and two catches for 14 yards in 2007. He never caught a touchdown pass as a Redskin." He was in that massive free agent group Redskins fans were so proud of that included Antwaan Randle-El and Adam Archuletta. Gentlemen, that is exactly why you shouldn't get pissed when the Bears don't go broke trying to get a guy.

He is being tackled and tries to toss it back to another teammate but instead tosses it back to the other team????? Marshal called it the worst play in the history of the NFL, lol http://sports.yahoo.com/blogs/nfl-shutdown...-183803886.html This thread is not meant to start a debate on whether or not they should have traded him.

So was watching an episode of "First Take" with Stephen A Smith and Skip Bayless and they talked about a possibility of Brandon doing a part time gig. From what I understand BM will be taping segments of 'Inside the NFL' every week on his off day. In order to do that he'll take a charter jet from Chicago to NY each week. Could this be a problem later in the year? Link to a story of it: http://awfulannouncing.com/2014/bears-wr-b...de-the-nfl.html

I have been waiting to hear news of what is going on with this alleged incident since the news first broke after the trade. The last I heard the police do not seem to be investigating this issue, almost as if they feel it is a false allegation. I had also heard the complainant seems to be reluctant to talk to authorities. Has this been dismissed, or is it still a time bomb ready to explode with the Commish holding the dead-man switch?

http://www.suntimes.com/sports/12306507-41...y-to-learn.html Brandon Marshall offers his thoughts on Junior Seau tragedy By BRANDON MARSHALL Special to the Sun-Times May 5, 2012 6:06PM ‘Wow! Wait? What? Junior Seau was shot? How? Why? They’re saying suicide?’’ Question after question went through my head after I heard the tragic news Wednesday. Immediately, my heart began to hurt. What I felt was a deep pain, a deep compassion for this situation beyond Junior, his kids, his family, his teammates and his friends. There are many people out there who are suffering and have nowhere to turn for help or are afraid because of the stigmas placed on …

Read this article on Chicago Sun Times with regards article is there any likelihood of bears matching offer and would the 2nd round pick be this year or next The Bears have two RFA’s who have yet to sign their tenders. Safety Brandon McGowan will probably do so soon. He received the mid-level tender for $1.417 million that would require a team to send the Bears a second-round draft pick if it signed McGowan to an offer sheet and the Bears declined to match it.Quite simply, that’s not going to happen. McGowan figures to be in the mix for a starting job after improving at the end of last season. A lot at safety will depend on what happens with Mike Brown, who’s coming…

At SS if Major Wright is out. As per the SCORE. They also reported he looked pretty good in limited action Monday night. I'm happy we're playing Merriweather at SS. He had a reputation for being one helluva an athlete, but undisciplined. That's the exact same problem we had with D Manning, who finally found his niche last year with the Bears in the SS role. Conte's done one helluva a job not getting beat. If we could unleash Merriweather close to the box, that'd be huge.

Wow, first off, I love Brandon Staley. Did anyone else see the Chargers Raiders game? If they tied, both would make the playoffs due to IND's loss. Well LAC scored a last-second TD and forced overtime (they didn't go for 2). Then in OT they swapped FGs and with the game tied and the Raiders at the LAC39 with 38 seconds left (and a running clock), Staley called a timeout. It was clear to everyone in the world that the Raiders were content to run out the clock and take a tie. It would've been a 56 yard FG from there and the risk of a block or something bad happening was too high. They even said this after the game. They were actually going to take a knee! So…

Guess who is #1? Some of this is situational of course and so landing on a good team helps. Plus, in this past draft there really wasn't an elite RB talent. IMO there isn't a whole lot of difference between Montgomery and Jacobs, except for draft value. http://www.nfl.com/news/story/0ap3000001033290/article/2019-nfl-season-projecting-the-top-five-rookie-running-backs
